"Everyone one to the mess hall" David said over the speaker, we do what were told then from the corner of my eye I see y/n, where was she? Wait why do I care? Fuckin hell

We get into the mess hall "okay, we're going to make sure everyone is here, space kid?" "Here!" I stop paying attention "max" "max?" "Here" I say snapping back to reality I look at David, he looks at qwen and she nods "y/n?" He asks "here.." she replied qwen walks over to her, wtf? I talk to the others about it "and he lost it went he couldn't find her" I say "and just now he looked worried" Nikki pointed out "I'm going to investigate" I say while following qwen and y/n.

Y/n POV
A lady walks over to me "come with me" she says "don't do it, y/n you don't know her" kitty says I look up at her "what's your name, miss?" I ask "I'm qwen I'm a camp counselor" she said holding out her hand I grab it and follow her a boy follows behind me I grab his hand, he... makes me feel... safe "so y/n what did you sign up for?" Qwen asks me "I don't know" I say we get to a lake and sit down on the dock, I turn to the boy behind me "what's your name?" I ask still holding his hand "I'm max, how old are you" he asks "max what are you doing here?" Qwen asks "she grabbed my hand" max says still looking at me I let go of both of them and bring my knees to my chest "anyway, max off you go" qwen says "wait why?" Max asks qwen wispers something to him then he walks away
"Anyway y/n I've been told you went missing when David met you at the bus, where'd you go?" Qwen asks me "I went to find my tent, am I in trouble?" I ask, tears lining my eyes "no of course not, we we're just worried that's all" qwen says "now let's go back to David" she says I grab her hand and stand up "can I call you q?" I ask "sure'' q says we walk back to David "ah hi y/n can I ask you something?" David says I nod "stay with me or qwen at all times, okay?" David asks "why?" I ask "cuz your the youngest here and we don't want you getting lost" David lies "oh okay! Can I ask you something?" I ask "sure!" David says "can I call you davi? I call qwen Q now" I say "of course you can, now q do you want to take y/n to the others?" Davi asks "yup" q says then we walk to everyone else, I spot max with two others I let go of q's hand and walk over to him "umm max" "yeah" "who's that?" Max turns around and sees me I smile and grab his hand "this is y/n, y/n this is Neil and nikki" max says I wave then stand behind him, he pulls the arm I'm holding and drags me infront of him "don't worry, they won't bite right Nikki?" Max says glaring and the green haired girl "yeah yeah" she says.
"Umm max?" Neil says "why are you holding y/n hand?" Neil asks max looks at me then replies "cuz I don't want her to wander off, thats all" I smile "so he does care"
