Chapter 11.2
Dylan Welsh
Today was the first day of highschool, my older brother; Elliot is in 4th year so he can guide me around the school.
I was nervous because I recently got out of middle school, and my best friends told me that high school was scary.
I looked into the mirror that was in front of me, I was wearing a big, cyan jacket and black; ripped jeans also a pair of black Vans. As my hair was brushed to the left side.
My older brother peeked in, before stepping inside my bedroom. "Hiya Dylan." He said, he was wearing a dark green bomber jacket and a white shirt underneath. He wore black jeans also, a pair of black Converse. His dark brown hair was slicked back, as he wore a bandaid across his nose. (Because he got hit by Charlie)
"Hey Elliot." I said, "I'm ready to go." I grabbed my backpack as I raced downstairs before him, I heard Elliot call my name out; chasing me downstairs. "Hey Dylan!"
Charlie was downstairs, baking pancakes. Myles is in college and he lives with his best friend in their tiny NYC apartment.
Elliot grabbed me, I tried squirming away from him; but he wrapped his arms around my stomach. Dragging me downstairs. "You don't leave your brother upstairs." He said, as he carries me over his shoulder. "Stop playing around!" Charlie yelled, as she flips the pancakes and then putting them on separate plates.
"Yeah, Elliot." I snickered, still being carried. "Put me down."
The older boy placed me on the bar stool in front of the counter, where Charlie gave us breakfast. "Bon Appétit." She winked, as she gave us maple syrup.
"Where's mom?" I asked, Charlie pointed on the ceiling; implying she was still working on a news article. "Dad?" Charlie pointed outside, the backyard. He was probably reading the daily news.
"Hey." Charlie finally spoke, as she leans in closer; examining my face. "You look like dad."
Elliot snickered, as he said: "You have a girl's body." I blushed pink, hiding my face.
"You have curves, I can seen them and I find them cute."
"They're not cute... They're embarrassing!" I argued, eating my pancakes. "Other people find it as a 'turn on' thing. My classmate told me."
Elliot and Charlie stared at me for a moment, as they both burst out laughing at my innocence that was about to break soon. "Christ, Dylan. You're so cute and innocent." Charlie said, pinching my cheek. "You act like you're still in elementary."
"Yeah." Elliot replied, as he gulped down the orange juice. "And your friend is right, it is a turn on."
"Hey!" I exclaimed, blushing lightly as I punched Elliot softly on his arm. "Don't say lewd things like that...!"
"Haha, whatever." Elliot rolled his eyes playfully, as he ate his pancakes in peace. Charlie smiled at us, "Look at you guys! You're already in highschool, I used to see you everyday playing outside then coming in with a wound."
"Shut up." Elliot said, I looked at him; as I saw his cheeks turn red. "I hate my childhood."
I continued eating my pancakes, until there was nothing left on my plate. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wait for the bus, Elliot did the same and sat with me in the living room.
"So.. Is there any cute girls in high school?" I asked Elliot, fiddling with my fingers. "It's okay if you didn't answer."
"A lot actually." Elliot smirked, leaning in; as he whispers: "A few lucky girls gets to sleep with me." I bit my lip, pushing Elliot away. "Does mom know? You'll get in trouble." I asked him, Elliot shook his head.
"No."
We heard the bus blow its horns, we quickly scrambled outside getting inside the schoolbus; which was packed with students.
"Hey Elliot."
"Hi."
They all greeted my brother as if he were royalty, Elliot brought me to the backseat where he sat with me. "I'll teach you how to go throughout highschool."
My brother taught me all sorts of things, I followed his path; that turned me into one of the most popular kids in school. I hung out and made out with women, I messed around and broke up with different types of girls. I was part of the school's newspaper, as a photographer.
Elliot taught me so much, that I realized they were wrong. By the time I graduated from highschool, I realized I messed up.
There was no way to revert it now.
