"mom! i'm heading out okay?!" she called out from downstairs

Flora sat on the couch waiting for a few minutes then she got a text from Vic saying that they are outside she rushed out smiling rushing down her porch stairs when she saw Vic standing by a black 2019 Jeep wrangler she walked up to Vic quickly hugging him he hugged her back inhaling her scent squeezing her small frame she let go as he opened up the back car door

"thank you" she smiled getting in making him laugh as Tyler sat in the passenger seat typing on his phone she sat back ignoring him just as he was ignoring her

"you're really not going to say hi to me princess" Tyler said closing his phone looking back at Flora she shrugged

"you didn't say anything to me" she crossed her arms looking at him as Vic drove off

"come here" Tyler said motioning Flora forward she leaned in as he turned a little bit to face her slightly
she leaned in closer and he pecked her lips lightly causing her to smile he smiled back at her turning away looking at the road as she sat back

"thank you" Flora said giving the lady a smile she prayed over her food quickly and ate her grits with the cheese she didn't hesitate to dip her turkey bacon in her grits looking at Victor making a ugly face making him laugh

"I'll be back" Tyler said getting up from the booth as he phone rung he stepped outside

"it looks like he's having a heated conversation" she says cutting a piece of her waffles with her fork looking at Victor

he shrugged "he's been like that all day"

digging back into her food as she was drinking her orange juice Tyler walked in sitting down

"we're going to a party tonight" he said picking up his fork

"are you asking or telling?" Flora questioned him looking over to Tyler
