Ray's POV

I start heading home BY MYSELF!And I'm thinking.

What the heck just happened? For a minute there I thought we were actually starting to become friends. Eh well, It's only Wednesday. I've got plenty of time.

I make it home to find my mom totally crashed on the couch. I love her so much she's been working real hard lately because the boss of Her department at the hospital got married and was transferred to a different hospital.

My mom gets paid pretty good but if she got promoted we could finally leave this reject neighborhood. Prince's Mom got a new job about two months ago and they'll be moving soon. They're lucky. All I can do is hope, pray and do whatever I can to help mom out around the house.

I cut off the tv and pull a blanket across her. I head upstairs, take a shower get out and hop in the bed.

Hazel's POV

What is up with that Ray guy? I actually feel bad about running away from him like that.

Well, whatever soon as I get home I hop in the bed. I'm too tired to even consider a bath, today was weird and awkward

~Next morning~

I wake up put my hair in a messy bun. Take a shower like I said I would throw on some grey sweats a purple t shirt and some grey white and purple Jordans.

I head out the door soon as I reach the end of the block a pair of hands cover my face. I get ready to panic but then.

"Guess who.?" a familiar voice says

"Umm. Idk Lil Wayne"

"Nope. Guess again"

"Oh darn. I Don't Know.. Could it be Ray"

He turns me around and smiles.

"Aye... How'd you know?"

"Um. Who are they"

I stare at the three boys behind him.

"Oh this is Prod, Roc and Prince. These are my bros"

"Oh Hi"

"I'll see you guys later" Ray tells his boys.

He Holds out his hand and says " Cum On"

I look at him uneasy like

"Hazel. Trust me"

"Where are we going?"

"To School" he says while making a silly face which makes me laugh.

"Oh"

He Grabs my hand and we head to school.

It's early so I go sit on a bench in the hall and he sits next to me. Really close.

I get up and he grabs me. Ugh. What is up with him always grabbing me

"Where are you going?" he ask

"Umm to get a water from the vending machine"

"I'll get one for you"

Before I can reject him he's already halfway there.

I guess I'll sit here and wait.

"Agh" I scream as I feel something cold all over me.

I look up and see Cloe. That bitch fucking poured her fucking drink all over my head and it slowly trails down my body.

"Oops sorry"

she smiles and everyone around her laughs. So I just sit there with my head down not caring.

"Aye. Break it up!!"

It's Ray I can tell.

Everybody leaves but Cloe is still standing there.

Ray walks up to her totally pissed.

"What did I tell you ?!"

"Oh. Calm Down Ra..AHHH "

he grabs her by the hair and yanks it hard

"Listen to me and listen good. I told you to leave her alone. So you BETTER DO WHAT I SAY! You know I don't believe in hitting girls"

He pulls her hair even harder

"But Next time you mess with her I'll make an exception. Do ya understand?"

She just looks really pissed

"Yah. Ray"

He grabs me by the hand.

"Come on"

I take his hand for some reason having new found trust in him.

He leaves the school doors.

"Where are we going?"

"To your house"

I stop walking.

"What?" I say

He looks at me confused then he smiles.

"Oh. No Not like that, so you can change clothes."

When he said that I was relieved.

"Oh. Ok."

We get to my house and he stops at the door. He seems harmless enough so I guess I won't leave him out here.

"Are you coming in?"

"Huh. Uh Yea"

I go to my room and he follows me like he's totally lost

"Um. I gotta wash so you can stay up here I guess"

"You wanna leave me in your room Alone?"

"Well, I've got nothing to hide"

He raise an eyebrow.

"Oh really"

"Really"

"Hmm.?"

"Look around if you want"

He laughs. "I just might"
