[Ray POV]

I walk up to Hazel's door and knock.

Her gorgeous face opens the door.

"Hey Ray"

"Wats up"

"Owh just watchin a movie."

"Cool"

"Well come on in"

"You sure your parents won't kill me"

"Home alone"

No parents that's perfect. I walk in and notice Hazel's dressed differently. Forget that! She's almost naked. a half cut shirt and some seriously short- shorts. I'm bout to smash fahreal.

"So what we watching?"

"Orphan"

"So.. You like scary movies"

"Yeah"

"Ah the good girl has a dark side"

"Uhhmm... I don't know. Maybe I do"

The movie goes off and we start talking.

"That was crazy" I say. Starting the conversation.

"I know right"

"And when she tried to seduce the father."

"How could someone even do that"

"That's dumb nasty. But I wouldn't mind being young and sexy forever. Unable to look old.

"Really Ray.."

I take off my shirt. Just giving her a preview of what's to come.

Next thing I know a pillow smacks me in the face

"Owh you better run"

She takes off upstairs. I see her go through her room door. That's not a smart place to be. ;)

"Hazel.. Really.. Of all places. You run into your room. Now you gonna get it"

I throw a pillow at her. She falls on the bed. Like really how do you fall on the bed. I don't care though. I jump on her and start tickling her.

"Ray STOP!"

She yells. I hop off of her. I'm not try'na scare her or nothing.

"What. Did I do something wrong"

She sits on the edge of the bed. Puts her legs together and covers her stomach.

I don't think she realized she was. 'Exposed'

I cautiously sit on the bed and slide closer to her and gently Put my arm around her. She kinda jumps.

"I understand"

"No you don't" she says softly.

"Then help me to"

She's silent for a long time. Then begins

"Ray .. I . I'm"

She completely stop I gave her some

time but then I figured. If she couldn't say it I should just help her.

"Why are you insecure?"

"Because Ray.. My whole life my mother has called me names. Abused me physically and verbally... And... And"

"And... What?"

"And my Brother MOLESTED ME!!"

Tears fall from her eyes as she screamed those words.

I'm not shocked because I'm from the hood this is basic. Not molestation. But it kinda caught me off guard this explains a lot about her.

I try to comfort her then I wonder is she still dealing with this.

"Where are they now."

"I don't stay with them. I don't even see my brother he's my step brother and he doesn't even live in this state.

"Who do you stay with?"

"My grandparents"

I feel relieved for her to hear this news. I don't know why but its almost as if my heart sunk a little hearing all the things she's gone through.

"Hazel you are a true thug Lil mama. You've been through so much. But look at your life now. You have people who love you so much that they took you in, buy you everything and try to make sure you have a better life. The past is the past. So Look forward to a much brighter future."

"You're right"

"You also have me"

I kiss her and she kisses back. Then I break the kiss.

"Hazel.. I. Wish we could change the past but we can't. There's a lot of things in life we don't have control of."

"Yeah. I know"

"But some things we can"

"I guess. But what are you referring to"

I smile at her and stand up.

"I can show you better than explaining. All you have to do is let me take control..Will you?"

She's thinking . I know she wants to.

"Baby just say Yes."

"Y-Y-Yes"

I kiss her. I take her shirt off then slip off her shorts. Then slip off her panties.

"Am I the first?"

She nods her head. Like I didn't already know.

I kiss her without breaking it I slip two fingers in her.

"AHH"she yells in pleasure.

I slip off my pants and pull her closer.

I'm about to get what I want.

"I'm glad it's you" she says

. I just stop right then and there.

"Why me?"

"Because I trust you"

She trust me. It's funny cuzz that's what I wanted. But Now I don't wanna destroy that trust.

"Wait. Before we go any further. Do you really wanna do this."

"Yes"

I see fear in her eyes. She's not. I really wanna smash though. I can't do it. I mean there will be another time

"No You're not. its ok"

"I wanna do this"

"No Hazel. We both just got caught up in the moment."

"Maybe you're right."

We both put our clothes back on.

So how long are you home alone.

"My grandma's heading out for a fun week with her sister. And my grandfather's taking care of his mother."

"So what you wanna do"

"I don't know"

"Well I know what I wanna do."

I grab her from behind and hold her.

"Hold me"

"Yeah.."

"Wow"

"You can't deny how much you love it"

"You'll always be safe in my arms"

"I hope so"

"I have to go home before it gets late"

"Okay." Her smile fades away.

"I can stay until you fall asleep"

"Then I'd still wake up without you"

"I'll come see you tomorrow"

"Tomorrow morning?

"Ok. All day you'll have my attention"

"That'll work for me. "

After two hours she falls asleep.

I lay her in her bed. Kiss her forehead head out and lock the door. I arrive home late.

I expect to arrive to my mother saying where have I been. But I forgot she's working overtime.

I enter the house to find my siblings on the couch. I head upstairs straight to my room.

She trust me. The look in her eyes. Her vulnerability. It was so easy but I couldn't do it. I lay on my bed and start playing with my braids.

I need to stop thinking this hard. I got a little anxious after seeing her 'Exposed'. I can't rush things. I mean I could but I don't wanna. That takes all the fun out of everything.

Sometimes waiting is better.

I hop in bed and try to get some sleep. I gotta see Hazel tomorrow morning.

[Cloe]

Ray hasn't called me and its really late. I guess he's not gonna. Hmm. Hazel best to back off but even if she don't. Ray already said they just friends. He wouldn't want a girl like her anyway.

I guess I'll go to bed.

[Next morning]

I got up and headed for the shower. Hopped out. Brushed my teeth and got dressed. I head out the door straight to Hazel's house. I knocked on the door are seriously tired girl opened the door. She rubbed her eyes.

"Hey Ray"

I lift her up and hold her In my arms.

"Good morning Beautiful. Did ya miss me"

"I just woke up"

"So. You still did"

"Maybe"

"Haha don't try to front. Last night all you wanted was me"

She turns away from me.

"Is someone blushing?"

"Whatever"

"It's cute"

I carry her to the living room. And Drop her on the couch.

"Did you just Drop me?"

"No I released my grip. And gravity took over causing you to fall."

"So. Basically you dropped me"

"Let's go do something"

"I. I uh don't know. I'm not the type to go out."

"Well. Lets change that."

"I don't think that's-"

No isn't an option.

"Just go wash and Do your hygiene thing."

I push her up the stairs. Down the hall and in to the bathroom.

"Ray I don't-"

"Hazel I will lock you in this bathroom."

"This is denying me my rights as a citizen of the United States"

"Which amendment specifically says a friend cannot lock a friend in their bathroom."

"Uh.."

"Exactly none.. So you're stuck in there."

"Ugh.. Shut up."

"I better Stop hearing your voice. And Start hearing water running"
