A little party never killed nobody

My jersey was way too tight as always and my shoes were burning with the heat. My cleats were sticky with sweat as I runned towards the ball. I tossed the football to Freya and she circled another girl from the opposite team. She ran with the ball carefully tucked in her arms and in a matter of seconds she managed to throw it to Sofia who was standing past the scoreline ready to catch the ball.

" Yes!" I screamed as I high fived my team members. We had five minutes left and we had the lead. I watched as the other group which was made up of Nora and some of her friends scream at the coach.

" it is not fair!"

" She walked with the ball!" another girl shouted.

" I don't play with cheaters!" all of them yelled at the same time.

How are we cheating when we followed all the rules? This always seems to happen during sports. Something happens that they don't approve of and they start screaming bloody murder for no reason. The worst part is that Coach Dean always, always, favors them. Why? I guess he was under their spell of fear too. Pathetic right?

" We played fair" Freya answered back and we nodded in return.

I looked over waiting for an answer from Coach Dean, but he was too scared to even answer. He looked one way and then the other trying to decide whether he should follow his gut or save his barely-there reputation.

" This is what we'll do. We will re-do this game and everybody will be happy! It's a win-win."

Win-win my ass! this teacher can't even think right. There is no double win when they are the only ones that get something good out of it. But for some ugly joke of fate, they always seem to win at everything.

I hate when my hair gets tangled especially after taking a shower. I had three minutes before the next class and my hair was an epic mess. I probably looked like a cheap version of Cindy-lu from Whoville. I gave up after a minute of trying to make a nice updo and snatched my duffle bag and walked down the crowded hallway. Friday's are the days where they air and the vibe seems calm and gentle, even relaxing. No... no relaxing and gentle never, this school is never that. But yes it was pretty obvious that it was Friday and it was as if a weight was lifted off everybody's shoulders.

I felt the same way too as I walked the hallways with a secret smile hiding in my face. I count the days till weekend like a child does for Christmas. I wait till I get home and change into comfy clothes. I open my balcony doors that face a wide forest. Every time I look out that window I am reminded of a mixture of Alaska and the forest from the movie twilight. I normally seat in a soft sofa and read or watch movies. That is basically me and I love it, it reminds of happiness and Relaxation. My thoughts were interrupted by a tall and annoying human being.

" What do you want now?."doesn't he have something better to do? he should be flirting with the easy ones.

" You didn't answer me last night. And I need to know now, the party is tomorrow." he bored his eyes into mine. Damn, he looks good when his is thinking.

" You don't need me as a date to that dance." I tried to walk past him but he stepped in front of me and gently grabbed my upper arm.

" We not going as dates. I need your experiences at revenge for tomorrow and it is also a plus two fancy dinner gala." he saw my weird out face and probably realized that he was making no sense.

" It sounds like bullshit, I know, but see this like..." he thought for a minute. "Sidekicks. I need you as my partner in crime and you and I know that there is no one better at that than you."

" How will I get there? How should I dress? I need a background a name and face to come up with ideas. And I can't add more people to my list especially if I don't know them"

" He is not from school and this is not a name for your list. Please I need your help," he begged, and there was no way I could say no to a chance of pranking someone. He took my silence as a yes and he smiled so big showing his dimples and I felt my heart twist. What the crap?! It must be the heat affecting my thoughts.

"Don't worry I'll text you the details, but for now you think of someway to get back at this asshole."

He smiled and turned ready to mount on his clean white range rover. But before he had the chance to do so I stopped him.

" How are you going to text me if you don't even have my number?" His green eyes twinkled. But not in a happy way, more in like a mysterious one.

" Don't worry I have it cover." He smirked and left me standing there like a stupid flagpole. Why does this guy has such an effect on people? Crap I am so confused right now and I have a party to get to.
