"Namaste aunty! What's up! How's life? Kaise ho? Ooh it must be like 7:30pm in Mumbai right? Have you had your evening tea yet? How's Aman uncle? Oh and btw your kids are fine, I'm taking good care of Avu! Kuch boliye na! Hello? HELLO? SONIA AUNTY?" Sid yelped

Jaireem instantly got off each other from the floor.

"MAMMA?" Jai whisper-shouted

"Omg Jai you scared me! I thought aunty came here in the room and saw us!" Reem said hitting Jai

"Sonia aunty? You there?" Sid said on the phone again

"Beta if you give me a chance to say something I will say something!" Sonia aunty replied back, laughing

"Siddharth give me my phone!" Avu said angrily

"Let me talk to mam- I mean Sonia aunty!" Sid declined. 

"Haanji aunti kahiye!" He said back on the phone

Avu smacked her forehead while everyone else tuned into the phone call.

"So how are you all?" Sonia aunty asked

"We're amazing! And you guys? How's Aman uncle?"

"Oh he's also good! And you know Vibha is with us right now!"

"Oh! Whose house you at?"

"In your house!"

"Achha!"

"Do you wanna talk to Vibha?"

"How about you put the phone on speaker then I can talk to everyone!"

"Good idea.... Ah, done! it's on speaker now!"

"Sid! Kaise ho betaaa??" Vibha aunty said straight away

"I'm good mamma, you say! You must be getting bored alone at home haina?"

"Arre no! I get visitors everyday! And I have Wasooli of course!"

"I miss you all so much! Aman uncle bhi bethe hain wahan?"

"Hello Sid!" Aman uncle said

"Namaste uncle!"

"Namaskar! How you all doing in Dubai?"

"First class! And aap?"

"Missing you all so much!"

"Us too yaar! Par koi na we will come back in 5 days, phir aake bhangra payenge!!!"

Everyone laughed

"Why were you so nervous to get a call from aunty?" Janu asked Avu

"Shhhh I wanna hear what they're saying!" Avu replied

"Whisper why in my ear!"

"Shusshhh!!"

"Bata na yaar!"

"Coz I won't be able to hide the fact that me and Siddharth had sex!" Avu shouted loudly

Sid turned to look at her with a flushed expression as he nearly dropped the phone.

Avu mentally sweared and smacked her forehead.

"Ummmmmmm..... I think... Avu... Ummm.. Avu needs to talk..." Sid said quickly, he handed the phone to Avu while nervously biting his nails

"Muskaan?" Sonia aunty said on the phone

"Haanji mamma..?" Avu replied shaking

"You got anything to say?"

"Umm.."

Silence.

"Sid! Tell me what to say!" Avu whispered

"Tell her I'm innocent!" Sid replied biting his nails

"Fuck you!" She swore, then returned to the phone call

"Ummm mamma actually Jai wants to talk to you. Here talk to him!" Avu said quickly and handed Jai the phone

Jai and Sonia aunty started talking, Sidneet were talking silently in a corner

"What do I say?" Avu asked

"Idk!" Sid replied

"You talk to her!"

"What? No!"

"I'm not marrying you if you're scared of your future mother-in-law!"

"Wow! I'm not marrying you if you're scared of your own mother!"

"But Siddharth!"

"No buts! Just tell aunty it'll be fine!"

"First you tell Vibha aunty! Only then I will say!"

"Avneet! This is wrong!"

Avu sat down on the sofa at the side, pulling Sid down with her

"I'm scared.." She said holding his hand

"You're overreacting Avneet!" Sid said jerking his hand away

"Go away don't talk to me!" Avu said standing up

"You know what, I'm gonna tell aunty, mamma and papa! Then we'll see how they react!" She said angrily

"But-"

"And let me tell you, Mr Siddharth Nigam, she may not be happy to know!"

Avu walked over to Jai, who had the phone, and snatched the phone from him

"Excuse me?" Jai asked, looking alarmed

"No dramas. Not now." Avu warned

Jai gulped, she had just peeked into his soul 😶

"Hello? Mamma? Papa? Aunty?" Avu said

Sid walked up to her to listen closely to the conversation

"We're all here. I know you have a lot to say.." Aman uncle said sounding stern

"Put the phone on speaker I can't hear anything!" Sid whispered

Avu glared at him one before putting the call on speaker mode

"Umm.." Avu started

This is much harder than I thought it would be.. Avu thought to herself

"We're listening.. Speak.." Sonia aunty said

"You're putting her under more pressure Sonia. Let her take her own time." Vibha aunty said

Sidneet heard whispering on the other end of the phone, they were curious what the whispers were about.

"I think they're really really mad.." Avu whispered

"Avu.. I need you to trust me and spill everything to them!" Sid whispered clutching her hand

Avu jerked it away

"If I said the same to you, you'd decline to tell everyone the truth!"

"Fine. You want me to tell them? I will."

Avu stared unbelievably at Sid..

"Muskaan?" Aman uncle said on the phone

"Hello uncle?" Sid said immediately

Avu grabbed Sid's hand and shook her head in disagreement

"Chill girl!" Sid whispered

"Sid you're there?" Vibha aunty said. "Talk to me!"

"Mamma.. Wo.." Sid gulped

"See! it's not easy idiot!" Avu whispered

"HELLO!?!?!?!!? You there kids? I think they've run away coz they're scared!" Sonia aunty said chuckling slightly

"The thing is me and Avu had sex and now we're really scared of what your reaction is gonna be so please don't kill us and we're truly sorry it won't happen again ever I swear I promise and yes uncle aunty I'm sorry I took your daughter's virginity but it was partly her fault she was looking so hot that day and she was tormenting me again and again so itna toh banta he hai na? Mamma don't get mad at me i love you meri pyari si mamma, you're amazing you do so much for me, why don't we just forget about this and live our happy life!?" Sid said really really reallllyyy fassttt, he stopped until he was out of breath.

Avu had her eyes tightly shut, she was digging her nails into Sid's hand

Sidneet waited for a reply on the other end, scared of their parents' reaction.

Jaireem, Fainat and Abhinavi were trying their best not to laugh their heads off but it was honestly very hard!!!

Sid dragged Avu to a side of the room

"I did it!" Sid whispered to Avu

"My brave boy did it! I love you even more mado! I love you, I love you, I love you!" Avu said and hugged Sid tightly

Sid hugged her back even tighter but they broke away seconds later when they heard the most shocking words come from the other end of the phone line...
