Sidneet sat down on a dining table in the restaurant and looked at the menu

"Oh my God this menu is huge!" Avneet exclaimed

"So many choices! Avneet, why don't you choose something out of the Breakfast section!?" Siddharth suggested

"Ya, I will. Have you chosen?"

"I'm getting French Toast with Fruity Milkshake"

"Ooh, sounds yummy! Hmmm..... let me choose my order.."

The waiter arrived at their table and asked for their order

"French Toast and Fruity Milkshake for me please" Siddharth said

"Hot Cappuccino and Pancakes. And listen, the pancakes should be topped with blueberries, raspberries, mulberries, whipped cream, maple syrup and chocolate sauce. Don't put any bananas on top! And there should be chocolate powder sprinkled on top of the coffee!" Avneet said, placing her BIG order.

The waiter went away.

"Such a huge order?" Siddharth asked

"Well it's a 5-star hotel, gotta take full advantage of that, you know"

Sid laughed

The waiter arrived 10 minutes later with Sidneet's food.

"Wow, you have fast service!" Avneet said

"Thank you ma'am, enjoy your food!" The waiter replied

Sidneet talked about random stuff while eating their food and enjoyed each other's company

30 minutes later, Avu paid and they were ready to go

They settled into the car and Avu went onto her phone to call Jannat

"Hello? Avu? Are you reaching soon?" Janu asked on the phone

"Yes jaan, I'm coming" Avu replied

Is she talking to her boyfriend? Siddharth thought

"Tell me how long?" Janu asked

"Siddharth! How long will it take to reach to my house?" Avneet whispered to Siddharth

"25 minutes approx" Sid answered

"Siddharth said 25 minutes" Avneet told Janu

"Ok thank God you're finally coming home!" Janu rejoiced

"Ya, I'm so so so happy as well!" Avneet said

But then Avneet had another thought. She had enjoyed being with Siddharth all this time. He was a fun man and Avneet didn't realise how fast time went when she was with him!

Avu looked at Siddharth in a constant stare while he was driving

"Avu? Avu are you still there!?!" Janu said on the phone,  but Avu wasn't paying any attention to her, she was too busy staring at Siddharth.

"Why are you staring at me?" Sid asked, noticing the fact that Avu was staring at him

Avu finally realised she was staring at him and got out of her gazing trance

"Oh, um, I'm so sorry, nothing, sometimes I just have these moments.."

"It's ok" Sid said, smiling

Avu smiled back

Sidneet had an eye lock and were lost in each other's eyes...

Suddenly the car behind them beeped its horn which made Sidneet jump in their seats a little and Sid started driving the car again, properly, because it was a green light!

Then suddenly after that Avneet remembered she was on a call with Jannat!

"Oh shit! Jaanu I'm so sorry, I accidentally, er... dropped my phone somewhere and now I go it back, I'm SO SO SO sorry!"

"It's ok Avu, but just tell me are you ok?"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"You know... that dude.. Siddharth.."

"What about him?"

"Has he done anything yet?"

"Janu, I swear, you are going over the top with this! Nothing has happened to me and nothing will, understand?"

"Ok sorry sorry sorry Avu, forgive me. Siddharth is a good man he is being very kind to you"

"Yes you're right! But listen he's not an old man, he's a young dude about the age of 24 or 25"

"Yes yes I thought he was that age. Anyways Avu, guess what!?"

"What?"

"Arre guess na!"

"I have no idea!"

"Ok just know that when you get home, there is a surprise for you!"

"A surprise??"

Avneet was excited and curious to know what the surprise was!

"Yes Avu, I have a surprise for you! Ok bye I have to go!"

"Bye jaan love you so much!"

"Love you too jaan, bye!"

Avu ended the call and squealed 🤩

"What happened?" Sid asked Avu

"I'm sooo excited!! My friend has a surprise for me when I get home!"

"Your friend or your boyfriend?" Sid siad suspiciously

"Boyfriend? What?"

"Ya, isn't it your boyfriend who you were talking to saying jaan and i love you?"

"Arreee nooo! That was my best friend Jannat, but I call her Janu or sometimes jaan"

"Oh, ok, good"

Sid was relieved for some reason

"You look like a heavy weight has just been lifted off your shoulders"

"Ya, it has"

"What? You mean when I told you I don't have a boyfriend, you-"

"No no I didn't mean that, I meant if your boyfriend knew that you slept with me last night then he would be mad.."

"What the hell? I didn't sleep with u last night!"

"No no no I mean in the same room!?"

"You scared me, Sid!"

"Sorry Avu!!!"

"And stop making that sound horrible bad and dirty by saying slept with u"

"Sorry Avu, I really didn't mean that!!"

"It's ok madoo"

"What?"

Sid's ears rang to hear that Avu just called him madoo, he was kind of happy for an unknown reason!

"I mean Siddharth. Sorry"

"No no, don't be sorry, Avu"

"Did you just call me Avu?"

"Haven't you been calling me Sid?"

Sidneet laughed together at the same time

"Did u know my friend thought u were gonna rape me?" Avu told Sid

"What did you just say?"

Avu laughed. " My friend thought u were gonna-"

"Ok ok I don't need to hear that again"

Avu laughed again

"And.. what did u say to her?" Sid asked Avu

"At first I thought about it and told Jaanu you seemed nice, and she warned me again. Then when I called her again in the morning, she asked if you did anything and I explained to her that nothing happened and I don't think u would ever do that to me... But now..."

"Now?"

"Now I'm SURE u would never do that"

"What makes you think that?"

"You seem nice"

"Only nice?"

Jaanu came out the front door and instantly hugged Avu as soon as she came out the car

"Avuuuuu!!!" Jannat squealed

"Jannuuuuuuu!!!!" Avu squealed

Sid also came out of the car at that time and looked at Jannat

Oh, so this is Avu's friend... He thought

Avu separated from the hug and introduced Sid and Janu to each other

"Sid, this is Janu. Janu, this is Siddharth" Avu said

"Did you just call him Sid?" Janu asked

"Er.. um.. yea.." Avu shyly said

"Oh, so I see you two hav bonded quite well.."

"Janu, shut up" Avu said, as she saw Sid also being shy

"Just teasing you, Avu. You two come in for a cup of chai, and Avu ur surprise is waiting for u inside!"

"Ooh, surprise! Come Sid, let's go in"

"Actually sorry Avu, sorry Jannat, I have to go, my friend must be waiting for me at home, I have to go"

"Your friend?" Avu asked

"Ya, I'm staying with him here for a holiday!" Sid replied

"Oh, really? So this is ur first time here like us?"

"No, we come here sometimes because we have a holiday house nearby and we came here for vacation"

"Wow nice!" Janu complimented

"But that means you cannot stay?" Avu sadly asked

"Er, yeah, sorry.."

"Please stay for just a cup of chai, Siddharth" Janu asked

"I'm really very sorry, but-"

"Please please pleasseeee stay na" Avu pleaded

Avu made a cute puppy face that Sid found overloaded with cuteness

Aaaahhh how can I say no???? Sid thought to himself

"Ok fine I'll stay for a cup of chai.." Sid decided

"Yayyy! Let's go inside" Avu said, dragging Sid inside

"Your surprise will come into the room in 3, 2-"

"Wait Janu how will it come into the room? You need to get it, na!" Avu corrected

"Arre wait and see Avu!"

She restarted her backward counting

"3, 2, 1...."
