Sidneet reached Avu's house in 20 minutes and Avu got off the car with Sid

"Bye mado!" Sid said bidding bye

"Get out of the car Sid! You're coming in with me!" Avu said

"But-"

"No buts! You're coming and that's final, mado!"

Sid laughed and hopped out of the car carrying the shopping bags

Avu knocked on the door and few seconds later Sonia aunty opened it

"Avu you're back, come i- Sid! Beta tum? Ao na andar!" Sonia aunty greeted

Sid handed Avu all the shopping bags and Sonia aunty hugged Sid and pushed him inside

Sid touched her feet and got blessings

Avu followed them and narrowed her eyes at Sonia aunty and Sid who were talking sweetly

"Agh, Sid! Tell me what u want to eat, I'll make it for you beta" Sonia aunty asked

"Why are you acting so formal, aunty? I'll eat anything made by you!" Sid answered

They walked to the kitchen together, laughing and chatting

Avu rolled her eyes because Sonia aunty had forgotten about her since Sid came!

"Mamma, what's for lu-" She tried asking, but Sonia aunty started asking Sid something

Avu was getting fully ignored since Sid and Sonia aunty were so deep in discussion

"BRO!" Jai yelled while coming from his room

Sid turned to face Jai and they hugged

"Had fun shopping?" Jai said winking

"Jai! You don't need to know, bye bye, go away to your room!" Avu immediately said, blushing

"I asked Sid, not you!" Jai fought

"Stop fighting kiddos!" Sonia aunty warned

Aman uncle came down the stairs into the kitchen

"PAPA!" Avu screamed as she ran to him and hugged him

"Meri bachi! how are you?" Aman uncle asked as they broke their hug

"I'm MISERABLE! Mamma and Jai are both ignoring me because Sid is here! Papa, I'm sure you would never do th-" But Avu was interrupted

"Sid? Sid is here? Oye Siddu! Come here bache meet me!" Aman uncle instantly greeted

Sid ran to Aman uncle and was about to touch his feet when Aman uncle pulled Sid into a hug

"How are you?" Aman uncle asked

"Surprised" Sid said

"Surprised? Why's that?"

"I.. I've never been so close to a man like you whose like my.. my.."

"Your.. ?"

"Father" Sid replied hiding his tears

Aman uncle and Sid broke the hug and Sid looked down trying not to cry

Everyone in the room was a bit emotional

"Of course I'm like your father!" Aman uncle said

Everyone smiled

Aman uncle and Sid hugged and everyone in the room but Avu started talking

"What's for lunch?" Aman uncle asked

"Hmm.. I'm thinking of making paneer" Sonia aunty replied

"Ooh! Mamma that's my favourite" Jai said

"Ya I love it too Jai!" Sid said an the four of them started talking

Avu fumed in anger and Sid noticed

"Avu! Come sit here with us! What's wrong, are you.. angry?" he asked

"NO! I'm the happiest person on this planet right now! Can't you see by looking at my face?" Avu replied sarcastically, crossing her arms

Everyone laughed

Aman uncle dragged Avu by her shoulders to the sofa and they all sat down there

"Now you finally manage to notice me!" Avu said looking away, frowning

The three boys laughed and all four of them talked about stuff while Sonia aunty made lunch

AFTER 30 MINUTES:

"Lunch is ready!" Sonia aunty called out

Everyone gathered at the dining table and started eating

"Damn it!" Sid said taking out his phone

"What happened?" Sonia aunty asked

"I forgot to call mamma and tell her I'm here at your house!" Sid explained

He quickly called Vibha aunty and she picked up a few seconds later

"Mamma?" Sid said on the phone

"Hello? Yes? Sid?" Vibha aunty replied

"Mamma I'm at Avu's house, we-"

"I knew it! Don't worry I assumed you went there. When are you coming?"

"Ummm everyone's convinced me to have lunch here, so.."

"Ok take your time beta"

"Thank you mamma, I'll be back soon don't worry"

"Love you beta, bye!"

"Love you too, bye"

And with that Sid cut the call and continued eating with the others

They all chatted, talked, laughed, ate and most importantly enjoyed each other's company

An hour later, Sid decided to leave Avu's house and head back home

He bid bye to Jai, Aman uncle and Sonia aunty and they all went outside together

"Bye beta!" Aman uncle said hugging Sid one last time

Sid smiled and Avu was waiting for him to come to her

Sid came to her and softly hugged her, which of course was not enough for them!

Avu chuckled looking at how Sid acted in front of her parents

They broke the hug and Avu stared at Sid longingly

Sid looked back dreamily

They both had a strong yearn to kiss but had to control in front of Avu's parents

They were staring at each other and Sonia aunty noticed so to get them out of their trance she fake coughed

Sidneet got out of their trance and Sonia aunty quickly said bye one last time to Sid then quickly took Jai and Aman uncle back into the house, leaving Sidneet alone

Sidneet stood there wondering what Sonia aunty was doing but understood when Sonia aunty winked at them then chuckled after closing the door behind her

"Aunty is so smart!" Sid said coming closer to Avu

"Hmm.. And me?" Avu asked, raising her eyebrows

"You are.."

"I am..?"

Sid removed Avu's stray strands of hair from her face and put them behind her ear

"You are.." He continued

They looked into each other's eyes

Avu closed her eyes and came closer to Sid

Sid drew closer to her and they were about to kiss, when.....

"You are nakchidi!" Sid said

Avu opened her eyes and frowned

"I hate you!" She fought, hitting him on the chest

"But I love you!" He replied, engulfing her in a warm hug

She stopped hitting him and smiled while her forehead hit his chest

They stood there for a few seconds then broke the hug

"Bye mado!" Sid said

"Bye Sid!" She replied

She waved goodbye while Sid sat in his car and drove off

Avu smiled to herself while walking back into the house

Jai was standing there with his arms crossed

They looked at each other strangely for a while

"What?" Avu asked

"I saw that.. And heard it.." He said smirking

"Jai, please don-"

"MAMMA! PAPA!"

Avu put her hand on Jai's mouth to stop him from speaking

"And now they start fighting again.." Sonia aunty said to Aman uncle

"SHUT UP!" Avu screamed

Jai burst out laughing and Avu hit him

"Don't you dare!" She whisper-shouted

"Don't worry sis!" He said putting his arm around her shoulders

Then Jaineet joined Aman uncle and Sonia aunty on the sofa and the whole family watched something on the TV
