Morning:

The sun's rays were peeking in through the window, falling all around the room

Sid's phone started ringing and Sidneet got disturbed by the sound, rubbing their eyes to see what it was

"Sorry. That's my phone" Sid said, his eyes barely open

Avu just closed her eyes and tried to sleep again

"Hello?" Sid said on the phone

"Abhi bhaiya! Hello bhai kaise ho"

"Yes I'm good as well bhai"

"Ji kahiye"

"Really? When? How?" Sid got up and sat on the bed properly

"Oh My God! Ok bhai I'm going to leave Shimla today"

------

"Yes bhai see you in the afternoon"

Sid put the phone back onto the table, looking tensed

"Sid what happened is everything ok?" Asked Avu who had been listening to what Sid was saying

Sid put his head in his hands

Avu sat up on the bed properly as well and put her hand on Sid's shoulder

"Mamma is not ok" He said

"What happened?" Avu asked

"Abhi bhaiya said she fractured her foot and is unable to walk"

"That's horrible!"

"Yes," Sid said getting up from the bed. "That's why I need to leave Shimla. Right now"

Avu got up from bed as well

"Where are you going?"

"Train station"

Sid slipped his shirt on

"What about ur stuff?"

"I don't care about it. Mamma is more important"

"Yes but Sid you need to check when the next Mumbai train is"

Sid stopped

"You're right Avu. I need to check"

"Ok Sid you check, I will pack your bags quick"

"Thanks Avu. Love you"

"Love you too!!"

And with that Sid checked the train timings on his phone and Avu quickly went into Sid's room to pack his bags

A few minutes later Sid went to his room and saw Avu packing the suitcase

"Avu, the next train for Mumbai is in 2 hours!" He informed her

She shut the suitcase and turned to Sid

"Ok good. We have time to get my stuff" She said

"Your stuff? Where are you going?"

"DUH, I'm coming with you Sid"

"Why are you leaving your holidays for me?"

"That's such a dumb question. Sid, I love you. Now chalo, let's get my stuff!"

Avu walked out of the room to the living room where everyone else was chatting

"Finally you two are awake!" Jai said as he saw Avu walking to them then Sid, a few steps away

"Ok now you all need to listen to me!"

Avu narrated the whole story of what was wrong with Sid's mother

"Ok then we are also coming with you to Mumbai, Sid" Janu said

"But-" Sid started

"No buts. We are coming." Jai protested

"Arre but why would you-" Sid argued

"So it is decided. Let's go to our house to get our stuff" Reem suggested

"Ok guys just wait, I need to pack my stuff in my room I'll be back" Faisu said

They rest nodded and left Sidneet standing there by themselves

"Sid, it's ok. We don't mind giving up our holidays for you! We're your friends!" Avu told Sid

"Not just friends, they're my BEST friends. And your more than a friend, you know Avu" Sid replied

Avu smiled and they hugged

"Now let's go in your car to my house!" Avu said

Once Faisu came back with his stuff they went to Avu's holiday house

They reached the house and Jaireem and Janneet quickly packed their bags and stuff within 45 minutes

Then they went to a cafe to have breakfast and they did that in 30 minutes

There was still some time left so they all (not Sid) called their parents to tell them that they will be coming back to Mumbai today

They took taxis to the train station, after giving their cars back to the Shimla car rental place

The train came within 5 minutes and everyone was in one train slot

Sid was feeling very sad and depressed because of his mamma's condition so Avu went to comfort him

"Sid, it's gonna be alright. I'm sure nothing will happen to her" She said sitting next to him, pacing her hand on his shoulder

"Thanks Avu." he replied smiling

It was a five hour journey and at 3pm they reached Mumbai

Once they had gotten off the train and got all their stuff, they all did a group hug outside the Mumbai train station

"So our journey together ends here" Reem says sadly

Jai hit her on the head

"Pagal! It's not like we're never gonna meet! We will keep meeting up and hanging out!" He said chuckling

They all laughed

"But I thought you guys were coming to my house with me" Sid said confused

"Sorry Sid, but we know right now that you need time alone with your mum." Janu said

"Ya Sid and we don't wanna give you any trouble" Faisu added

"Thank you guys for understanding" Sid said smiling

They all hugged each other one by one and everyone apart from Sidneet left

"Chalo Sid. Let's catch a taxi to-" Avu started

"Excuse me madam we are going different ways now" Sid told her

"No Sid. I'm coming with you!" She argued

"But what about-"

"No don't worry I told mamma papa I'm going to a friend's house before coming home and even they're going somehwere"

Sid smiled and they hugged again

After that the two of them went in a taxi to Sid's house

The house was very nice and big, Sid knocked on the door and Abhishek opened it

"Hey Sid. Who's this beautiful young lady?" Abhi said, signalling them to walk in

"This is my friend. Avneet." Sid replied

Avu put her hand forward and Abhi shook it

"Hi. I'm Avneet Kaur, you can call me Avu" She introduced

"Hi Avu. I'm Abhishek. Call me Abhi bhaiya" Abhi replied smiling

"Bhaiya tell me where is mamma?" Sid said immediately

Abhi pointed to a room and Sid ran to it

Sid went inside and saw Vibha aunty laughing while sitting up on the bed

She was laughing with someone else

"Mamma!" Sid said running up to her

Avu and Abhi entered the room

Sid and Vibha aunty hugged while Sid was about to burst into tears seeing his mother

"Aunty, are you ok? What happ-" Avu started but someone else who was in the room called her name

"Avu!" The voice said

Avu's attention turned to the person and a smile formed on her face

EOC!

I owe you guys a lot coz ik I didn't update 2 days, I'm SO SO SOOOO sorry

The reason for not updating for 2 days is that my school started again and it was a busy schedule so I'm very sorry

And also I live in Australia not India so study is different and schedule is different too

I may not be able to update very single day from now onwards so pls bare with me

I also know this was a really crappy chapter, sorry next one will be more interesting!!!
