Anastasia and Angelina Shepherd, the babies of the family. Born three months early due to the tragic death of their father. They were born into the world fighting and never did get a chance to stop. Anastasia, only five minutes older than Angelina, grew up a little quicker than her twin. Angelina was a brilliant girl but quiet. She stuck to her twins sisters side and rarely spoke. So Ana took charge for Lina.. and then her family.

But thankfully, Ana didn't have to bear it all alone. Shortly after the twins 6th birthday, they met Mallory Fairchild. She was a small redheaded orphan that had a mean glare and fierce attitude. The trio instantly became best friends and Mallory practically lived with them. She helped where she could and always stuck up for the twins, even with their family. So Mallory was there to help the girls pick up the pieces of their lives and vice versa.    

Anastasia has always taken care of her family, forever the peace-maker, and somehow still the object of hate along with sweet Angelina. Of course Lina is just flat out ignored, as if she doesn't even exist. But in their free time, they both still manage to make a career for themselves. Ana, Mal, and Lina were blessed with brilliant minds and the three put them to good use; graduating from Harvard at age 18 and then Johns Hopkins at 21. After spending a few years at Johns Hopskins finishing their residency, they're all desperate to break free from the Shepherd family.

So when they get a job offer from Seattle that they can't refuse, they pack up their things and move. But in their struggle to get away from the Shepherd family, they accidentally run right into the den; their older brother Derek. And he's not happy.

Can the twins survive Seattle Grace-Mercy West Hospital? Or will they end up like so many others?

Authors note: What do you think so far? I'm pretty excited about this book and I've had it in my drafts for months now but I'm a little unsure if the prologue is good or not 😕
