Whats to come will be hard to forget. There might be the first real Gang War in the Southern California...

De'Mario's POV:

I remember the first time I went on a mission as important as this one, I was 21 and now Im 34. It's crazy how that mission is basically the cause of this. Let's just say, this part two. We should've finished the job off. When you have an enemy that needs to be killed, you kill the kids too just incase bullshit like this happens 15 years later. I'm not the type of person who would say that I regret doing what I did because in all reality, she is my biological mother but I didn't know the bitch.

First of all, I can care less for the fact that she was going to kill my wife and that nigga John used her. That's why, we had Shawny kill her. It's an eye for an eye. Survival of the fittest. If Shawny hadn't done that, there wouldn't be a Shawny to fight for today. So, all God is giving me right now is a test. Testing whether or not I'm worthy enough of carrying the title of a man by making me take over California once again and rescue my wife from the biggest gang in the world besides the police.

Me: "Can you see them?" I asked through the phone. Raquel better not had set us up. Today is the day I live or die.

HitMan: "Yes sir. All nine of them and they're exactly where she said they were." He reported. I smirked and looked at Raquel.

Me: "Looks like I can trust you after all." I smiled and so did she. "You know I would've killed you, right?" I asked.

Raquel: "Of course, but it was worth it in the end, Right?" She smiled.

Me: "Right," I nodded. There was a connection I felt between us and I can see in her eyes that there was something about this girl that I couldn't shake. After all the years I've known her as my psychiatrist, I haven't once got this vibe that I'm getting now. I can tell that she can feel it too cause she began to blush the longer we gazed into each other eyes.

HitMan: "Aye, Boss you still there?" he said through the phone breaking my train of thought. Raquel and I both jumped at the sudden interruption and went about our business.

Me: "Yeah, man." I continued my conversation. "Go on and murk them motha fuckas nice and quick, they in my way. Hit me up when you done, and don't forget to put our cameras there just incase you leave." I demanded.

HitMan: "Yes, Sir." He obeyed and hung up.

Me: "You ready to go in?" I asked Raquel who I knew was standing behind me in the meeting room.

Raquel: "Yes, Boss." She stood next to me and smiled causing me to smile too. We had another stare off until someone cleared their throat.

Sandra: "You said Shawny is alive, right?" She asked looking at Raquel for confirmation.

Raquel: "Yes Correct, Very much so. In fact, that's what my job was to do. Bring her to safety while De'Mario and his crew goes in and kill everything that's moving but make sure his kills Israel." She assured her. Sandra just gave her and uncomfortable look for some reason and left the room before shaking her head at me. What did I do? Raquel sighed and dropped her head in her shoulders. Wrapping her arms together, resting them under her breast. "Everyone hates me, don't they?' She sadly asked. No lie, it reminded me of Kacey. But then again, she's as smart and cool like Shawny. I feel bad for her cause although she was apart of the enemy, she had no choice. I see an innocent girl in her and I can't blame her. I walked up closer to her and lifted her chin with my index finger.

Me: "Look at me," I demanded and sighed putting my hands in my pocket, staring deep into her eyes. "They don't hate you, they don't even know you. I can definitely say that they don't like you because If you were in their position, would you?" I asked her. She shook her head slowly and avoided eye contact again.

Raquel: "I already don't like myself," She began to tear up. I wiped her tears and wrapped my arms around her waist pulling her into a hug while she silently cried on my shoulder.

Me: "Don't cry ma, it's okay. I don't blame you for none If the shit you did because you had no power over it." I explained while holding her in my arms.

Raquel: "But I-"

Me: "Shh.." I shushed her. "What's done is done, stop crying." I leaned don't and kissed her forehead causing her to smile and snuggle her head into my chest. This feels good and it's not even because I miss holding Shawny like this but I lowkey always wanted to do this. I could tell there was more to her but I didn't know what. I honestly want to know who she really in. Inside and out. Not on no sexual type shit, I really see something worth building a relationship with. I know yah probably thinking, Married men don't have female friends, but it's not even like that. She's the type of female that will keep you wondering. She's hides her true identity out If fear instead of deception. I feel it's wrong not to get to know her.

Raquel: "Thank you, De'Mario." She said after a few minutes of total silence. "This is the first time I've been able to vent in years." She for up and look at me in the eyes. "I'm sorry about what happened to your wife. I'm going to get her back to you safely."

Me: "I'm always here If you need me and don't be sorry. Thank you." We gazed into each other's eyes once more and that connection only became stronger as I leaned towards her lips.

De'Maria: "Um, Dad I-" She walked in right before our lips met and a frightened look spread upon her face. Raquel and I hurried up and fixed ourselves. "Nevermind.." Her facial expression turned to anger and walked away. I sighed and wiped my face.

Raquel: "I'm s-"

Me: "Don't say it," I cut her off. Just then, I get a phone call saying all the snipers have been killed and the cameras have been put up. "Show time." I smirked. "You know what to do." I said to Raquel and she did exactly what she was supposed to.
