De'Maria's POV:

Tee: Maria, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you upset.

Ignored.

Tee: Maria -_-

Ignored.

Tee: You're beautiful :)

Ignored.

Tee: Will you please talk to me?

Ignored.

Tee: If you don't answer me, I'm going to run up them damn stairs. Think I'm playing.

Me: Can you not?

Tee: Call me.

Me: No, are you crazy?

Tee: Yes, now call me.

Me: My dad is going to kill me.

Tee: Go into the bathroom, he won't hear you.

Me: How'd you know that?

Tee: You told me, remember? Lol

Me: Oh, Yeah. Whatever. Alright, I'll call you. But If we get caught, don't say it's my fault when my dad kicks you out.

Tee: Yeah, iight.

I sneak out of bed and creep to my bathroom. I close and lock the door as I sit on the marble counter that connects to the sink. Taking a deep breath, I press the call button on Terrence's contact. He answered immediately and my heart dropped to hear his deep voice. It gives me butterflies.

Tee: "Thank you for calling." He said in a husky voice.

Me: "Why did you want me to call anyway? You could've waited until tomorrow." I whispered.

Tee: "Stop whispering and because I just wanted to hear your voice. I couldn't sleep without knowing you were okay." He admitted causing me to blush.

Me: "Terrence I'll be fine. Just upset and not in the mood to talk about it." I assured him.

Tee: "I just don't like to see you crying, you're not okay Maria. You can just vent to me, I'm here." He replied.

Me: "No, it's fine." I began to tear up. I started to think about what happened with my dad earlier and how Im expelled from school.

Tee: "Maria..." He sighed. "What's on your mind, Beautiful?"

Me: "Alot," I sniffled and wiped my tears but smiled a little because her called me beautiful.

Tee: "I got all the time in the world. Just start with the first thing that comes to mind."

Me: "I told my Dad I hated him this morning." I blurted.

Tee: "Oh, shit.. Whyd you did that?" He asked.

Me: "Because, the school said they're going expel me and I started crying. He told me to stop crying because I did it to myself and I told him I hate him. Now, he won't even talk to me. That's why he didn't eat at the table with us." I explained.

Tee: "Damn.. I understand why you were upset but telling him that probably hurt him." He said.

Me: "I know it did, but I apologized because I didn't mean it and he didn't accept it." I began to tear up again.

Tee: "Calm down, it's okay. He's probably mad that you never told him how you really felt to the point that you had to come out and just say I hate you. Tomorrow after school, you should just talk to him."

Me: "But what If he doesn't want to talk to me?" I sighed.

Tee: "Then he just wants you to pay for what you did." He said wisely.

Me: "I wish I didn't say it now." I said.

Tee: "No, you don't. That's how you felt. You just need to tell him how you feel in a respectful way because now he feels unappreciated." He said.

Me: "Yeah, he kinda did say that. I'll try to talk to him tomorrow." I said.

Tee: "Alright, what else is on your mind?" He asked.

Me: "Nothing, really. How about you, What's on your mind?" I asked.

Tee: "You.. uhh I mean like I was just trying to make sure you were okay." He hesitated.

Me: "Yeah, well what else is on your mind?" I asked with a little blush.

Tee: "Umm, well check outside of your window.."

Me: "Okay.." I slide off the counter and slowly open by bathroom door getting a good view of my window and the dark shadow looking Terrence standing on the other side with his bright white smile. I covered my mouth from making any loud noise that would make my dad come in here again.

Tee: "Come to the window, It won't be long." He said through the phone. I hung up and creeped to the window and slowly opened it.

Me: "What the hell were you thinking climbing my roof again?" I whispered.

Tee: "This," He lifted my chin with his index finger and a smile on his face before pressing his lips against mine. I was shocked that this is what we're actually doing but it felt good. He pulled away and looked into my eyes before say the most memorable words that can't be erased. "I Love You." I'm speechless because I felt the truth in those words. My eyes began to water before I could speak.

Me: "Really?" I asked. He kissed my forehead, nose, and then lips again. Just like my Dad did Shawny which caused me to blush and smile. I wrapped my arms around his neck tightly and didn't want to let go. "I love you too" I smiled and sniffled.

Tee: "Don't cry, beautiful." He smiled and wiped my tears.

Me: "I'm sorry, I just can't believe this." I admitted.

Tee: "Well, believe it." He pulled out a box from his pocket and gave it to me. "I bought it today after school, go ahead and open it." I opened the golden rectangular box with the silver ribbon on it and was surprised by a promise ring with a gold chain.

Me: "Oh my God, Terrence this is beautiful," I whispered. "I can't take this from you. I bet that cost an arm and a leg."

Tee: "Nah, the only thing it cost me is my heart and it belongs to you now." He smiled and grabbed the necklace out of the box. "Turn around." He demanded and I did as I was told. He connected the claspe on the necklace and and kissed my neck sending chills through my spine. "There, you look perfect." He smiled as I turned around.

Me: "Thank you," I smiled back.

Tee: "Now, I can sleep. Good night, Beautiful." He smiled.

Me: "Good night, Handsome." I giggled. He pulled me in for another kiss before leaving and climbing back down the roof. I blushed as I Shut the window and pulled down my blinds. I set the golden box on my dresser and played with my necklace as I climbed in bed. Tonight I'll get some good sleep. I think I just fell in love with my bestfriend.
