Project
Calypso's P.O.V
I walked out of the room with Parker. I held his hand and he smiled brightly. "Are you free to hang out later?" I asked him. He frowned. "Sorry babe, I cant. I'm really busy." He replied to me. "Oh, okay." I stood on my tip toes and kissed his cheek lightly. We then went to our separate classes. I then went to my first class. Because I was pretty good at dancing, the principal made me a ballet instructor for little kids. It was actually really enjoyable and the little children were so cute. I put on my ballet shoes and sat in a chair until the little kids started to file in. I smiled cheerfully and stood up. "Okay, children. Please line up along the bar and show me your twirls. They lined up along a silver bar that was attached to the wall horizontally. One by one, they each went to the center of the room and twirled. After each child twirled, I would congratulate them and compliment them. When class was over, I went over to a closet in the corner and took out a little bucket stuffed with lollipops. I handed them each one lollipop and they soon left. The last child, who was a girl, ran up to me and hugged me before leaving. It was moments like these that made my extremely happy that I joined the dance academy. I grabbed my bag and walked to my next class. It was ballroom dancing and Parker, my boyfriend, was in that class. Lucky for me, we were able to pick our own partners so of course, I picked Parker. Then out of the corner of my eye, I saw Leo paired up with a girl I didn't know. I had no idea he was in this class. Once our teacher played the music, we started to dance. Parker and I danced gracefully and lovingly.

I was dancing with a girl named Angela, and she was not good. I was extremely glad when class ended. I spotted Calypso and was about to walk over when I saw her boyfriend Parker notice me and glare. I stopped walking towards her and just walked out the door like everyone else. In my next class, we had to do a project with a partner. It was a project on the founder of the school. Great. We were paired up and I was paired with Calypso. I really hope her boyfriend doesn't kill me. He isn't too muscular but he seems like a guy who has connections. Calypso and I planned that we would meet up at my house and work there. I was fine with that and I knew that my mom wouldn't mind. At the end of the day, I walked out of school and saw Calypso on her cellphone. She finally stuffed it in her pocket. I noticed that she was now wearing a white shirt with blue skinny-jeans, and her hair was down. It cascaded down her back. I walked over and grinned. "Ready?" She smiled a bit. "Yep!" She replied to me. I walked with her towards my house. Right now we were in the nicer part of New York, but we wouldn't be for long. My house is in the run down streets of New York. I live next to my best friends. There was Percy, who for some reason, loved the color blue. There was Jason, who didn't talk much about his family, but was one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. There was Frank who tried to act tough, but everyone new he was just a regular guy who everyone liked. Finally, there was Matt. Matt was disliked by all of my friends and Percy had a bad past with him. We finally got to my neighborhood and walked into my house. "Mom, I'm home! I brought a friend!" I shouted. My mom walked to the door and saw me. She smiled warmly. "Leo, who is this?" She asked. "This is Calypso, we're working on a project together." I replied. Calypso smiled and shook my mom's hand. "Nice to meet you, Calypso. I'm Ms. Valdez, make yourself at home." My mom said. "Nice to meet you too, Ms. Valdez, and thank you." Calypso said. After Calypso and my mother met, I led Calypso to my room and we began to work. "Your mother is nice." Calypso suddenly said. "Thanks." I smiled and we continued to work on our project. We actually managed to finish it! When we were done my mom asked if Calypso wanted to stay for dinner and Calypso gratefully accepted my mom's offer. My mom had made tacos, my favorite, and Calypso seemed to be enjoying them very much. Dinner seemed to rush right by, and Calypso had to leave soon. She grabbed her things and said goodbye to me. I smiled and she smiled back which made my heart do a somersault. When she was at the door, my mother hugged her which Calypso seemed surprised at, but immediately hugged my mom back. "Thank you so much for dinner, Ms. Valdez. It was so good!" Calypso said grinning. My mom laughed. "No problem, Calypso. I'm glad you could stay for dinner. Calypso and my mother said goodbye one last time before Calypso left. My mother turned to me and smiled. "My baby loves a girl!" She exclaimed. "W-What are you talking about?" I asked. She gave a knowing look. "You know exactly what I'm talking about."

I walked home and walked inside the house. My mother was sitting in a chair reading a book. "Honey, why did you come home so late?" My mother asked me. "I had dinner over my friend's house after we did the project, Mom." I smiled lightly and hugged my mom. She said goodnight before we both headed to bed.
