22- Special Day
"Do I love her? Of course I love her, but I'm not in love with her." David says as he rolls his beer bottle back in forth in his hands.
"Are you sure?" Caleb asks as he watches him fiddle with the beer bottle.
"Michael always thought the same thing. Tiff and I are more like brother and sister, I worry about her, like I told you she lived a pretty rough life and I care a lot for her. I just want her to be happy."
"So I would never have to worry about you trying to get her to leave me for you." Caleb says, he knows he didn't have to worry, he's just trying to figure David out and see where his heart is at with Tiffany.
"Oh hell no, I do love her a lot, but not that way, she deserves the best, and I think you'll finally be the piece of the puzzle that she's been missing." David says as he leans back in his chair.
"She does deserve the best, and that person is me." Caleb grins standing up. "I should go get some sleep, I'd like to be wide awake for tomorrow."
"So you don't mind that I crash on your couch?"
"No. I think Tiff put a pillow and a blanket on the couch for you too."
Caleb leaves the room thinking about the next day, excited to be getting married to Tiffany, he shut the door quietly trying not to wake Tiffany and slowly stood next to the bed and undressed.
Caleb climbed into bed, snuggling up to Tiffany and wrapped his arm around her waist kissing the back of her head. Sliding his hand under her shirt he rested his hand on her stomach, laying there he smiled the more he thought about having five kids on the way and how she will be his wife in less than twenty four hours.
The next morning Caleb woke up early and let Tiffany sleep in as he made everyone breakfast. Bertha had called and said that she had all the food ready and hoped that she made enough for everyone.
"I hope that you didn't go all out, it's only a few people." Caleb says to Bertha over the phone.
"You know me." She laughed.
Caleb sighed "I'll see you in a few hours."
Tiffany walked into the kitchen as Caleb was hanging up the phone, walking up from behind him she reached around grabbing his cock "Morning." She said with a giggle.
Caleb turned around walking her to the fridge and pinning her against the fridge. Brushing some strands away from her face he leaned forward kissing her "Morning hun." He said in a low voice.
"I hope that you're ready for today." She grinned touching the side of his face, giving him the look of love.
"I'm more than ready." Caleb says embracing her. "I've made some breakfast if you're hungry."
"Thanks I'm super hungry this morning." Bending down she moves out from his arm and walks to the counter to grab a plate and some food, David was just sitting up rubbing his eyes as he was waking up.
"Hope you two kids are ready for this lifelong commitment, I want to finally witness my best friend happy for once." David smiled as he walked over to the table and sat down.
"Oh we're both ready." Tiffany says as her mouth was full of food.
"Good cause I'm not so sure that I can handle you being unhappy anymore, these last few months have been stressful enough, I can't imagine being stressed any longer." He smiled as he touched her hand.
"Are you being a downer this morning?" Tiffany questioned David as Caleb was looking at David wondering where this was coming from after they had a nice talk the night before.
"No. I'm more than excited for the both of you, I was just trying to say that both of you deserve to be happy, just making sure that you will be." David explained.
"Well no more talking that way, I'm so ready to be taken to the courthouse right now." Tiffany smiled.
Tiffany stood up gave Caleb a kiss and placed her dish in the sink. "I'm going to go get ready."
Caleb looked at David and was confused still with David "I thought we talked about this last night.. what was all that about?"
David started to laugh "It's all good, I was trying to push Tiffany's button's that's all, sorry about that. She should have known what I was up to. It's just my brotherly love kicking in."
"Whew, you were starting to scare me a little." Caleb says as he started to clean up his mess from breakfast. "Were you going to bring Tiffany to the courthouse, or should we just all drive together?"
"Well you know how the old saying goes..." David grinned.
"I'll go get ready and let her know that I will see her there then."
Caleb left to get ready, walking in the bedroom he saw that Tiffany was standing there in just a towel and walked over to her, brushing her wet hair to the side he placed kisses along her neck. "You look so damn hot right now, how about a little fun before we say I do.." He whispered in her ear giving her butterflies.
She smiled big "You can wait until later, I need to get ready." She says shooing him off with a giggle.
"Fine.. I'm going to get ready, also David will be driving you to the courthouse, of that's OK."
"Of course it's OK, it's bad luck to see your bride before you get married you know, so hurry up, I don't want you to see what I will be wearing." She smiled.
Caleb hurried and took a shower while Tiffany got ready, doing her hair first so Caleb wouldn't see her in her dress. Caleb got dressed in a hurry to let Tiffany get ready, he knew the longer he stayed there the more late she would be, he rushed over to Tiffany and gave her a kiss before he left. "See you soon." He grinned.
Caleb left David with Tiffany "Make sure you get her there on time, she's always late for everything." Caleb asked David before walking out the door.
"Oh I know, I'll make sure she's there on time." David assured him, Caleb gave him a thumbs up and left. Once Tiffany knew Caleb was gone she then walked out in her dress and walked over to David "How do I look, think he'll approve?"
"Beautiful, just beautiful, he would be a fool if he didn't approve. I still cannot believe you finally found your happiness, I'm just so happy for you, I really really am."
"Thank you." Tiffany gave David a hug and then rushed him out of the house wanting to hurry up and get married. Shocking David that she's actually on time on her own for once. On the way to the courthouse Tiffany couldn't keep herself from smiling.
"I can't help but notice that smile on your face, you know its been years since I saw a smile like that coming from you."
"I'm just so happy David... Think about it, for years I was unhappy, all the shit I had been through and that dark period in my life where I didn't think that it was worth living. Now look at me.. all because of that piece of shit car of yours. Just think had it not broke down, I probably wouldn't be in this position today.... so I thank you for your shitty car."
David laughed as he pulled up to the courthouse. After shutting the car off he looked over at Tiffany and cupped her cheek "I'm glad that it all worked out, he seems like a good guy and I can tell that he thinks the world of you. He definetly loves you a lot."
Tiffany sees Bertha standing outside next to Felix. She saw Tiffany and waved her to hurry up and come over to her. David and Tiffany got out of the car and headed over to Bertha.
"Oh my, my, my.." Bertha says as her eyes lit up when she saw Tiffany walk up to her. "That dress is on fire!" Giving Tiffany a hug and held her on to her hands pushing her back to look at the dress, Tiffany wore white with the top going over her one shoulder and a slit above her breast, the dress hung low to the ground with slits on both sides of her legs revealing her long silky legs, and finishing the look with gold colored high heels.
"Caleb is inside waiting for you with the fire crew." She grinned looking at her watch "I'll go let them know that you are here."
Bertha and Felix left to let Caleb know that Tiffany and David were waiting outside for them. Caleb stood next to the judge nervous to see his bride come through the door. Bertha hit the tape letting Tiffany know that they were ready for them. When they heard the music play David opened the door and walked Tiffany towards Caleb.
Caleb smiled as he saw Tiffany, his heart skipped a beat the moment he saw her, watching her legs creep out of her dress as she walked towards him. He had to control himself as he could feel himself grow a little below. Caleb took her arm as she approached him. Bertha smiled wiping away tears as she looked at Caleb and back at Tiffany, she was happy that they found each other and knew that from the first moment she met Tiffany that they were meant for each other.
They stood in front of the judge and listened to him talk. He looked at Caleb and Tiffany after he had them repeat the traditional vows "I understand you would like to say your own vows as well."
"We do yes." Caleb said quietly.
"Caleb we will start with you." The judge says with a smile.
Caleb turned to Tiffany and held both of her hands gazing deep into her eyes "Tiffany.. I promise to spend each day working to become the truest version of myself, for you, for us, and for our growing family." He smiled. "I also knew that I loved you from the moment we met, even though you drove me crazy and I wanted to see you off as soon as I could, but I have been helplessly lost in your eyes ever since. I also want you to know that I promise to unclog the tub, even though you are the only one of us with long hair." He chuckled. Giving the judge and their friends a chuckle.
The judge looked at Tiffany holding back his laugh "Your turn." He smiled.
Tiffany looked deeply in Caleb's eyes and smiled. " Caleb, when I first came here I have to admit I hated you, I hated that you were going to make me wait to fix my car so I could get out of what I called this hickville town at the time." She chuckled. She looked over at Bertha and smiled. "But I thank Bertha for giving me your number, it wasn't a pleasant greeting at first, but now I am completely and madly in love with you. When you walked into my life, love walked in, it was a moment that I'll treasure forever, I love the way that you look at me, the way you make me feel, I love to gaze into your eyes, as your wife I am yours, I pledge my heart and soul to you and you alone. I now have to catch my breath to believe that this is real, I am finally marrying my true love, my heart's desire.... Now let's be married, I'm starving." She giggled.
The judge shook his head and chuckled having them exchange their rings he then announced that they were now married "You may kiss your bride." The judge says as he looked at Caleb.
Caleb embraced Tiffany in a long passionate kiss. "I love you." They both whispered to each other smiling.
Caleb picked her up carrying her bridal style out to a 1950 Chevrolet Corvette convertible that Caleb had borrowed from Adam, and set her in the front seat. Tiffany turned around and waved to their friends with a big grin on her face as Caleb took off.
Caleb drove around in the corvette for a while giving Tiffany the different views of Oklahoma that she hasn't seen before and having a little fun driving an older car that was basically in mint condition. He also met with a photographer over near the railroad tracks and had their pictures taken.
After having some alone time and a little fun whipping around in Adam's corvette, they finally made their way over to Bertha's for lunch. When they arrived there were more people there than what they thought there would be.
"Looks like Bertha invited half of the town." Caleb sighed.
"It's OK, we pretty much know all of them anyways, they can share our special day with us." Tiffany smiled.
Bertha had a canopy set up with string lighting underneath, she also had some tables set up with some centerpieces that she had made out of flowers.
Adam was then quick to go check his car out to make sure Caleb didn't put any dents or scratches on his car.
"You actually are checking the car out?" Caleb laughs as he follows Adam to his car.
"I'm just making sure, she's my baby you know." Adam says patting Caleb's back. "Hopefully you gave Tiffany a wild ride in it."
"Oh I had a little fun with her, didn't want to do too much though, being that Tiffany is pregnant also it's not my car to just tear around in."
"Well if you want I could always take Tiffany out for a spin in it."
"If you want your ass kicked sure, I'm pretty sure that I can take you." Caleb pulls out the fists and Adam instantly puts Caleb in a headlock.
"Don't make me hurt you on your wedding day." Adam laughed, he then let him go and gave him a hug. "You deserve a lifetime of happiness, and don't worry I wouldn't do anything to wreck that for you."
"Thanks man, but I'm going to find my wife and see if she would like a plate of food, she did claim she was starving at the courthouse." Caleb laughed.
Caleb walked away from Adam and walked through all the people that Bertha had over, he then found Tiffany standing next to a cake and staring at it. He stopped walking when he noticed that it looked like she was crying, feeling concerned he rushed over to her to find out what was wrong.
"What's wrong hun?" He asked as he rubbed her shoulders.
"I'm just so happy, all these emotions keep piling up on me and I couldn't control it, then I saw this cake and had asked Bertha about it."
"What about it?" Caleb asked as he looked at it "Looks damn good."
"I know it does, Bertha spent all night making this cake for us, she said since she remembered me saying a while back that I used to love strawberry shortcake when I was a kid and that I hadn't had it in a long time, she figured she would make our wedding cake like that, she then covered it in white chocolate, another one of my favorites."
Caleb spun Tiffany around and held her. Running his fingers through her hair trying not to ruin her hairstyle, he kissed the top of her head
"Tiff you have many people here that love you, Bertha and Felix think of you as their own and she would do anything for you. Look at what she did here, she did all this by herself, the food, the canopy, renting tables and chairs, etcetera... I'll definitely be giving her money for all of this, plus all her time spent into this, she must have spent quite a bit of money on all this food.... I'll owe her a fortune, but she's worth it."
Bertha walked by noticing Caleb and Tiffany standing near the cake and urged them to try a piece, she got her camera out and took pictures of the cake as they sliced some pieces together. And fed each other a slice of the heavenly white chocolate covered strawberry shortcake, each of them releasing a moan after tasting a piece.
"Wow.. this cake is awesome Bertha, it just melts in my mouth." Tiffany said excitedly as she cut another smaller piece.
"I'll give you something that will melt in your mouth." He winked at Tiff as he leaned over and whispered in her ear.
Tiffany shook her head and laughed at Caleb "You're so bad... I'm going to grab some food, I still hadn't eaten anything and here I am eating cake first " she laughed.
After they both ate some food, Caleb took Tiffany hand and they wandered off when nobody was looking.
"They are going to notice that we are gone." Tiffany giggled.
"It's OK, I needed this time to just be with you, I also have been keeping myself from jumping your bones in front of everyone all damn day and I cannot hold it anymore. You're just too damn hot to look at and I need to put that flame out." He smiled. "I just want to be inside you, even if it means a quickie." He says winking at her.
"And where do you suppose you're going to take me to do that?"
"Well, we have Felix's garage, also your car is in their barn still, but I think I can take you against the back of the barn. What do you say?" He asks as his eyebrows fastly move up and down.
Hopefully you enjoyed the chapter and there isn't too many mistakes, I wasn't able to write peacefully today and ended up writing before I fell asleep fighting the eyelids lol.
