The door to the penthouse creaked open but Naruto kept his eyes squarely out the window down into the parking lot where the paparazzi were trying to break in to get comments from his fake fiance Sasuke who stood behind him now. "You're still awake?"

"Of course, we haven't discussed specifics," Naruto looked at Sasuke in the glass and the Uchiha was as blank as his expression. "Any drink in particular that you desire at the moment?"

"You're a bartender?" Sasuke furrowed his brows as Naruto chuckled, a small smirk on his lips.

"An omega must be multi-talented. It's merely the bare minimum of my existence," Naruto closed the curtains, and Sasuke's eyes locked onto the diamond ring he had given the blonde when they first met, it was supposed to be a replica of Sakura's but there was a major difference as the stones on Naruto's were mined diamonds rather than manmade diamonds on Sakura's finger. Hence Naruto's ring was far more expensive, he couldn't answer the question as to why he would give the blonde such a ring.

Maybe some part of him feels pity that he's dragging innocence into the current situation.

"Black Russian," Sasuke ordered as Naruto went behind the bar and began assembling said drink. He was drowned in a baggy matching sweatsuit so it was hard to tell his figure but judging from his face Sasuke could at least tell Naruto was of a slim build. He could pick up on the honey-soaked fruity smell that served as the blonde's natural scent. It was ironically sickly sweet for such a quiet and cold person.

The Black Russian was perfect.

He watched the blonde make a kamikaze for himself before sitting right beside him. "Should we discuss things now?" Naruto asked.

"I guess so, do you have personal requests you'd like me to adhere to?" Sasuke kept his gaze fixated on Naruto's ring, the jewel almost seemed heavy for such delicate fingers.

"No, but I would like you to be aware that I am a dominant omega. I noticed my father never told you, so I'm making you aware," Naruto's eyes narrowed as he side-eyed Sasuke. "Otherwise I'm wonderful following your lead and rules."

Sasuke knew his scent picked up when he learned this tidbit of information. Dominant alphas were almost everywhere in high society but dominant omegas were the mythical creature. To have one in sight now made him swallow the mating venom pooling into his mouth. That was just his alpha acknowledging a superior partner to his beloved Sakura. In terms of bringing the best children possible, it would make sense to be with Naruto but he was claimed by Sakura so he could ignore the new information.

"Thank you for letting me know," Sasuke finished his drink before turning to Naruto completely who continued to sip on his. "I don't have many rules, we need to be a couple for the public it's as simple as that. I've already cleared this with my partner so she won't be taken aback by our display."

Naruto chuckled. "I find it rather amusing that you would play this card. It isn't practical. In a year when you bring her to the public, you'll be labeled as a cheater or a two-timer who picked the other omega."

"I'm prepared to handle that if you're worried about being faced with backlash I'll ensure you're safe," Sasuke reassured but the blonde only shook his head.

"I've always been on the receiving end of backlash," Naruto shrugged. "In a family of only alphas I'm seen as garbage, there's a reason my father was so quick to get me out of the pack house. I was an embarrassment."

Sasuke pursed his lips before sneaking an arm around the blonde's waist to pull him into his lap, his waist was soft. Naruto's eyes widened a bit but he remained relatively unphased. Sasuke kissed his cheek. "I'll set you up for life, you won't ever have to go back to that family," He promised.

"You're being cozy with me when there aren't any cameras," Naruto sighed as he wrapped his arms around the Uchiha.

"Does it matter?" Sasuke was stroking the strip of skin he got access to.

"You're a taken man Uchiha," Naruto kissed him, taking the other by surprise. "If I steal you away, how could I ever trust you?"

"I'll let you mark me," It was said against his lips. Naruto gasped, his gaze almost seemed happy.

"I'd love that."

****************

"It would appear Naruto's rather popular to the news outlets," Mikoto observed from the recent reports. "He's seen as the perfect partner, he's a virgin and a dominant omega."

Sakura was sitting at the table, her lips pressed into a thin line. Her mother-in-law seemed to love pushing her buttons. She knew she was not wanted in this family as her reputation and background were poor. She was seen as a gold digger in plain terms of looks. But Naruto was her opposite in every sense of the word. He was proper and rather cold just like the rest of the Uchiha family. It seemed like he slotted in perfectly and though Sasuke had reassured her many times she still could feel it when they met up at his penthouse. His gaze lingered on Naruto's door or engaging with the blonde when he came out of the room.

"It's a shame Sasuke never met Naruto before you, he's a far better candidate for childbearing than you," Fugaku didn't even beat around the bush like his wife. He was straightforward while his eldest son Itachi sighed like he couldn't be bothered by the situation.

"Isn't that a bit forward Father-in-law?" Sakura couldn't help but comment and Fugaku gave her a disgusted look.

"You are nothing like the potential of Naruto. You're a whore's daughter, you've been a whore before you snatched your claws into Sasuke. I don't know what he sees in you but you should straighten up quickly or I might call this engagement off."

"You can't come between us," Sakura growled. "We're in love, he chose me."

"Not enough, did you know Naruto's diamonds are mined rather than your manmade ones," It was a cheeky comment from a cheeky older brother who was proud his younger brother had finally seen what can happen when you step outside of your inner circle of common girls?

Girls like Sakura are a dime a dozen, typical everyday omegas but Naruto was different. A tanned Russian beauty who was blessed to be a dominant omega. He was the peak partner for a dominant alpha and Sasuke seems to be warming up to that idea as he had been a bit more receptive to the idea of breaking his engagement.

"He's just a decoy to keep me safe," Sakura started to tear up.

"Maybe but who knows, Sasuke's always been a child after better toys until he finds the perfect one," Mikoto chuckled, her eyes narrowed in pity. "Face it dear we wanted to be nice and possibly ease you into this world but you aren't cut out for it."

"We don't have the time for you to be stumbling like a child while trying to get your bearings. Naruto's a better choice because his family is from a line of hotel tycoons, at the very least he's been playing with the same amount of money you've been gushing over," She continued laughing as Sakura got up in a rage and headed out to go to Sasuke's penthouse.

***********

Naruto was leaning against the glass of the living room while reading articles on his phone, his expression was blank but his eyes were alive, the emotion was unknown to Sasuke who was usually very good at reading people but Naruto had left him in a blank state. He walked over and looked down at the blonde's shoulder to see Naruto reading an article about a theory that Naruto was a decoy.

It was well pieced together and explained as to why this was the case. But the article went on to be analysis on why Naruto was a better partner than Sasuke's original partner. "It's funny isn't it?" Naruto suddenly spoke up, glancing at the Uchiha. "This is the only media that got it right."

"Sure they may have figured out that you were a decoy but that's all," Sasuke didn't like the small devious smirk Naruto wore. It was like Naruto was personally peeling away layers of his emotions, gazing at something Sasuke would rather keep hidden.

"You aren't superb at hiding feelings," Naruto said in an apathetic tone. "If anything your denial annoys me somewhat."

"But you are nothing but a decoy," He stressed and Naruto chuckled.

"Alright, I'll go along with your words," Naruto continued reading the article but Sasuke was left bothered by his words.

"What do you want?"

"Honesty, ever since you began my contract you have not once gone out to visit your lady in waiting despite her wanting to see you. You feed her excuse after excuse while you're laid up, drunk on my drinks," Naruto narrowed his eyes. "What game are you trying to play because it's never going to work on me, so just fess up already."

Sasuke sighed and looked away and before he could say anything a knock came at the door. Naruto gave him a knowing look before gesturing for him to get the door with the increased panic knocking. Sasuke got up and opened the door to see Sakura there crying. Before he could even say anything she barged in and immediately spotted Naruto who was heading to his bedroom to avoid confrontation because if he got caught up with Sakura he was bound to push her off the balcony.

He managed to close his door before she started banging on it in a rage. "Keep your hands to yourself slut!" She screeched. "I'm onto you, you're nothing but a homewrecker."

Sasuke quickly grabbed Sakura around the waist and hauled her to the sofa. His eyes were livid and Sakura shrank into herself as her alpha was not pleased. "What the hell is wrong with you?! Have you lost your damn mind?" He hissed. "He's here because you wanted to be out of the spotlight, don't you dare start acting out."

"Your parents and brother like Naruto," She blurted out, her eyes swelling with tears. "They called me a whore."

Sasuke massaged his temple and he caught Naruto's pointed look from the door. The blonde raised an eyebrow before baking his head and closing the door again. Maybe it was the look in his eyes or finally admitting that he was attracted to the blonde that he signed and faced the once love of his life.

He didn't feel that same pull, had he known this was going to happen. Is that why he agreeded to her ridiculous request? It brought him Naruto who was such a delight, his blank expressions did something for him. He slotted right into the type of omega he needed. Sakura was a want, he wanted someone different from his family and he got it but in the face of inheriting his family's business, he realized he needed a person like him. That kept emotions under their sleeves.

Naruto filled that need and while he was sorry for throwing her away now like kitchen scraps he had no sympathy for her dramatic antics. He didn't want to be that son with a bitch of a wife that complains and airs dirty laundry to the media.

"Get out, we're done."

Sakura froze, her world was sinking. "You can't do that."

"I can, I just did. Please get out."

He picked her up by the sleeve and lead her out the door. "This was your last straw. I can't marry a dramatic woman."

He slammed the door closed and turned to see Naruto watching him. He gave Sasuke a small smile and it was the hook for him to go over and kiss the blonde, finally crossing the line.
