"So," Kihyun spoke to Hyunwoo across the table at the cafe, where they had met to help each other sign up for new classes for the new year. They had a few months, but neither of them liked to wait until the last minute to get stuff done. "Jooheon and Minhyuk... What do you make of what happened?"

Hyunwoo looked up wide eyed, quickly gulping down the coffee before it burned his tongue too severely. "What do you mean? Did something happen?"

So Jooheon hadn't told him? Shit. 

Kihyun chuckled, internalizing his sudden embarrassment. "Just, in general. Like, what do you think about what they have going on?"

"Well... I guess it's harmless enough." 

Harmless? Yeah right.

"Really, you think so?"

"Yeah... I mean, it's nice of them to help each other out with heartbreak."

Kihyun couldn't believe that Minhyuk was helping Jooheon. "Heartbreak?"

"Well yeah, Jooheon was really into Changkyun for years. Being rejected was more than a slap to the face, it was kind of like Jooheon lost a part of himself, after liking Changkyun for so long. And what with Minhyuk losing Hyungwon to Hoseok-"

"Wait, what? Minhyuk got his heart broken?" Did Minhyuk even have a heart?

"Well yeah. I mean, Minhyuk was pursuing Hyungwon for months. And then Hoseok all of a sudden confessed to Hyungwon, and for a few weeks they were both trying to prove themselves to him. Hyungwon eventually chose Hoseok - I knew he would, they were always closer anyways - and Minhyuk was completely destroyed after working so hard for nothing. That's what happens, you know."

Kihyun was shocked. This new information made him even more confused on where he stood between the two of them. Maybe he had judged Minhyuk too harshly, without knowing enough about him? 

"Oh wow... how on earth did you get involved in this group? It's so.... dramatic, I don't know how you deal with it."

Hyunwoo shrugged, "I'm not sure either." But he knew.
