Vanilla Chocolate Chip Mug Cake

A buttery vanilla cake dotted with chocolate chips that can be thrown together in minutes and is ready to eat in seconds!

~Ingredients:

1/3 Cup All Purpose Flour.

1 Tablespoon Powdered Sugar.*

2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar.

1/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder.

2 Tablespoons Chocolate Chips.

2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter.

3 Tablespoons Milk.

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract.

1 Large Egg Yolk.

~Directions:

Step 1In a small bowl, sift the plain flour, then add both of the sugars, baking powder and the chocolate chips. Stir together.

Step 2In a separate bowl, add the butter and microwave until just melted. 

Step 3Add the milk, vanilla and egg yolk to the melted butter and whisk gently. 

Step 4Then add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.

Step 5Pour cake batter in a mug, then microwave your cake for approximately 1 minute and 20 seconds (80 seconds).**

Step 6Leave to cool for a minute or two.

Step 7Add a few extra chocolate chips on top and then dive right in.

~Recipe Notes:

*You can use granulated sugar instead if you don't have powdered sugar on hand.

**Our microwave is 900 Watts so adjust the time accordingly if your microwave is more powerful or less powerful than ours.
