In the celestial spirit world

(Aquarius POV)

I watched through the scrying glass and I knew this was our chance, I used my water to travel over to the King to tell him the news. He called for the rest of the spirits to the throne room, the rest of the Zodiacs stood at attention. 

"The time has come for our revenge; the humans how had captured our fellow celestial spirits have called upon the wraith of the dragons once again," the king announced, the cries of our fellow spirits could be heard throughout the realm, "The dragons shall be arriving at the battlefield at sunset, and when the stars appear that will be our chance to open the gates and the stars shall bless the battlefield like they did in the time long forgotten by man, I call upon all who are able to join us. Tell your holders that the war has been called if you must, these humans will pay for their mutilation of our fellow spirits." Weapons shot to the sky as battle cries roared through the land. 

Elsewhere

(Gray POV)

I was on Laxus's back as we flew through the air, I was glad that I managed to not strip before getting on, because fun fact about lightning dragons, when they fly, they gather static electricity in the air. I am grateful that I have a shirt on at least because otherwise I would constantly be getting shocked by my necklace rather than just dealing with my hair standing on end. We were heading towards the Waas Forest which was where Wendy and Romeo were being held. Irene and Zeref were behind us while Igneel and FlameBrain were leading the rest of them. 

Mirajane was riding with me, while Juvia and Lucy rode on Natsu, after I insisted her riding on someone other than Laxus, a smart choice considering that Juvia's entire body was made of water. Levy, Erza, and Jellal rode on Gajeel, while Elfman flew beside the using takeover magic, insisting on being a man and getting there on his own. Yukino and Kagura rode on Sting and Rogue respectively, with Kinana riding on Cobra despite him insisting that she stayed behind. As we approached our destination, I heard a crash and I looked forward to see that Igneel had stopped moving clawing at thin air. 

"What happened?" Erza asked as the other dragons got closer to the older fire dragon. 

"I can't seem to get through," he told us telepathically, as Laxus got closer I started to see purple enchantments blocking Igneel from passing. 

"Get me closer, it looks like an enchantment," Levy shouted and Gajeel moved closer to the barrier, "It seems like it is only letting members of Fairy Tail and dragons from Natsu's pack go through."

"But I thought Igneel was part of his pack," I question before I was corrected by Lucy. 

"Natsu's pack is part of Igneel's clan, but Igneel is not part of Natsu's pack, he doesn't have to follow Natsu's orders, but Natsu does have to follow his," she explained. 

"So, they are trying to make sure that we can't get other dragons and guilds involved in this." Erza announced to the group. 

"Should I stay behind and try to nullify the enchantment?" Levy asked, but Irene shook her head. 

"No, we will stay behind and warn the other when they get here, that Freed guy and the other letter magic users can help us break it from here, your expertise might be needed where the children are," Irene explained, "Go on ahead there is no telling what that man has done to them while we are waiting her, so go."

"Alright, but be safe, there is still that scale piercing weapon we have to worry about," Lucy told them. 

"We will be careful, go now," Zeref insisted, and we continued on our way, leaving the three dragons behind. I looked over at the setting sun, the sky was still starting to turn red as the sun started to dip into the horizon.

So, this is going to be an extra short chapter compared to the others but that is because the next chapter is going to be extra-long. I will be writing this chapter tomorrow, or next week as I probably won't be writing this Friday (American time) or this Saturday.
