(Lucy POV) 

As the stars started to appear in the sky, I felt my energy return to me in full. I got off my butt and went to the water and placed Aquarius's key into the water. 

"Open Gate of the Water Bearer, Aquarius," I chanted and I heard the tell-tale chimes of bells and looked up at Aquarius. Her armor was the same as it was before, and she still had the trident, too. 

"Can you tell me if you have had any changes in your powers?" I asked her. She looked at me for a moment and thought for a moment. 

"Well, I noticed that my waves are bigger than before, and I have a better control over water than before," she told me, as she demonstrated what she could do by making shapes with the water

"And what about Scorpio?" I asked, I didn't want to summon him right after Aquarius, I needed to preserve my magical energy. 

"Well, he can spit out both sand and poison, and I think his tail is more movable now," she told me.

"Okay, what about the others," I continued, she only shook her head.

"I don't know much about their powers," she told me, I was a bit disappointed at that but I guess they had other things to focus about, like whatever they are doing with the new armor, I wrote down everything that she told me. 

"Thank you anyway, Aquarius," I told her as I sent her back to the celestial world, now onto Cancer. I turned to the other direction, and aimed at Cancer's key in front of me. 

"Open Gate of the Crab, Cancer," I chanted and Cancer appeared, he was very different, the red things that were in his hair before were gone, and his hair was not braided as it usually was. His long red and black hair was tied up in a long ponytail. He wasn't wearing the clothes that he normally wore and instead he was wearing armor and his crab arms were covered with armor as well. Instead of his scissors that he normally carried there were two swords that had two blades on each. 

"So, Cancer, what powers do you have now?" I asked him.

"I seem to be able to use water magic, and I can control crabs, baby" he told me, so that means that he is stronger near the beach, where there are a lot of crabs in waters, I added silently to myself.

"Is that all?" I asked, he turned and looked at the water that was behind me and grabbed his glasses and removed them and I saw that his eyes were a pale blue with very thin catlike pupils. He looked at the water, I turned to see what he was doing and saw that the water started to move and it then changed shape, into a crab, it had an exoskeleton and water seemed to move with it, and its eyes were the same color as Cancer's eyes. I turned to look back at him and I saw that he was gone. I turned back to the crab and saw that the crab was wearing a gold necklace that Cancer always wore. 

"So, you can change into a crab," I answered for him, the giant crab that was Cancer nodded to me in agreement. 

"Can the others do something like this?" I asked the crab, and he gave me the crab equivalent of the I-Don't-Know gesture. With his crab face I couldn't tell if he was lying or not, I knew Leo could do it, so I didn't know if they told me everything that they could do. I wasn't going to push them, if they didn't want to tell me then they didn't have to. I saw Cancer start to shimmer gold and then he went back to the Spirit world. 

'I guess I will have to continue onward to the next spirit,' I thought as I grabbed Capricorn's key.   

"Open Gate of the Sea Goat, Capricorn," I chanted and the spirit appeared before me. His face was more goat-like than before and he was more like a fish than a goat. He was wearing some armor like all the other spirits before him. It was golden and it had goat horns on its shoulders, I looked at the horns on his head and saw that they were larger than before. On his hip, there were a pair of daggers on each side and there were more on his back there were even more. 

"You asked for me, My Lady?" The goat spirit asked me, I looked at his face and saw that his sunglasses were on his forehead and not covering his eyes, which were an icy blue color with the strange pupil that you see on actual goats. 

"Is there anything different from your powers than before?" I asked the Goat spirit, looked him directly in the eyes. Looking slightly relieved that I didn't look away from his eyes, the spirit answered me.

"It seems that I have gained some maaagical abilities that I didn't have before," he told me, I waited for to explain and he did," I seem to be able to summon water and can use some earth maaaagic, but I can also jump higher than before and I'm stronger than ever before," he told me, I wrote it down in my journal.

"Can you tell me anything about the others?" I asked him as I did before with Aquarius. 

"Sagittarius seems to be able to use magic arrows and he is faster and no longer a stationary archer," the goat told me, "Virgo is more versatile with her earth magic and has been working on her 'maid skills' as she told me," He continued with a goat-like smirk, it seems that there was some sort of inside joke between the two of them. 

(Capricorn POV) 

I was remembering when Virgo had told me about improving her maid skills.

Flashback 

I was walking from the armory after receiving my armor and daggers, 'Deneb Algedi', when I saw Virgo carrying her mace, 'Porrima's Star', in one hand and her shield, 'Sancte meus Adiutor', or just Sancte to shorten the name, in the other. 

"Hello Virgo, where are you off to," I asked her. 

"I am going to work on my maid skills, it has been so long and I am a bit rusty, I need to be in top form for the Princess," she told me in the same monotone voice she always had.

"Well that means that I need to work on my butler skills as well," I told her, we looked at each other and with a small smile on each of our faces, and our subtle rival between maid and butler began again. 

Flashback End 

'I wonder who will win this time around,' I thought to myself as my lady sent me back to the spirit world.

(Lucy POV)

After sending Capricorn back, I pulled out Taurus and Gemini's keys, oh the choices. I took Gemini's key and pointed it in front of me, and chanted the spell to summon the twins. 

"Open Gate of the Twins, Gemini," and the twins appeared before me. They were two blue-haired children, a boy and a girl. The girl had short hair with two antenna-like hairs coming out of her head, she was wearing a small dress shirt with ribbons attaching to golden bracelets on her wrist. She had a pair of shorts with ribbons attached to anklets on her feet, on her left hip there was a small bag and some metal disk at the other hip. The boy had even shorter hair, he had the same antenna hair as the girl. He was wearing a golden collar around the boy's neck and a golden band around his waist as a belt. He wore a black shirt and some blue shorts; he and the girl were barefoot. Like the girl, he had a bag on one hip and some disks on the other. They were shorter than me and around Wendy's height. 

"So do you have any new powers?" I asked the two of them; Gemi, the boy, was the first to answer.

"We are able to change into two different things at the same time," he told me.

"And we can stay in that shape longer," the girl, Mini answered, I wrote it down.

"Is there anything different with Taurus?" I asked the twins. 

"We don't know," Gemi started.

"He has been busy with some things," Mini finished.

"What things?" I asked the twins.

"Not saying," they told me at the same time and with a good bye, I sent them back to the celestial spirit realm.

"Now for the final one," I muttered to myself. I pointed at the empty air in front of me and I summoned Taurus. 

"Open, Gate of the Golden Bull, Taurus," I chanted and the bull appeared. 

"Hello, Luuuooocccy," Taurus told me as he appeared, his head had lost all resemblance of a human head, and his horns were longer now. He was still shirtless, but he was no longer wearing his cow bell, instead there was a gold-plate collar going around his neck, same with his arms too. He wore a gladiator like outfit, and on the shoulder pad there was the symbol of Taurus on it. He had big, black hooves instead of boots on his feet and his nose ring was gone. On his back, where I was expecting his old ax, there was an ax that was decorated with a bull's head and celestial runes, and on his hip, there was a lasso. 

"Are there any changes in your abilities?" I asked the bull; he tilted his head in thought for a moment. 

"My magic has become stronger and I seem to be able to you 'proper earth magic' as Virgo called it," Taurus started to tell me, before I interrupted by saying.

"Proper Earth Magic?" 

"Virgo said that before I was just causing rocks to fly with the power of my ax and that it was not proper earth magic," Taurus answered, sounding like he was Virgo herself. 

"Okay, continue," I told the bull spirit.

"With my earth magic, I can create other cows with rocks and dirt," he continued demonstrating for me by creating a calf out of dirt. "I can also cause earthquakes and make the earth rise."

"Thank you for telling me, Taurus," I told him, writing down what he told me.

"Anything for you and that body of yours, Luuuoooccy," he told me and I sent off to the spirit world before he could say another perverted word. I was alone in the clearing; Wendy having gone back to the den at some point and I thought about all that time they must have spent waiting for someone to free them from those prisons. How lonely and terrifying it must have been to be in the hands of those men.  I lifted up my keys and looked at all of them, from glistening gold to shining silver.

"Thank you, guys, for waiting," I told them, and then I headed back to the den, thinking that putting off finding out about the gate on my back for one more night was okay, I could always do it tomorrow.
