Shadow Dancing

Love paints a picture, two hearts beating

Our shadows dance on the canvas as we step in pace

Catching every moment made like a camera focused on us

They felt what I felt as I watched the light gleam off your face

Bleeding into one another as we blissfully buss

The wind howls in the air and whisks you away

Our candle light blown out, our love up in smoke

Your shadow leaves the stage, mine begging it to stay

Our dance is done and my shadow falls, the loneliness making us choke
