Chapter 5
(A/N: Fun fact: Someone took a red marker and wrote 'Meow meow motherfucker' on this itty bittly widdle kitty's chest. If you look closely during Kitty's jumpscare{Kitty isn't its actual name, that's just what I call it}, you'll see it. Famous last writing, if you ask me.)
*Travis*
Travis followed Allary down the hallway she'd chased him down earlier. She kept glancing back at him, maybe to make sure he was following, maybe to make sure he didn't put his hands on her again. Travis had mixed feelings about Allary. On one hand, she talked shit about Madison a lot. On the other hand, she was fucking hot. Well, in Travis' opinion. Yes, he had a girlfriend, but it wasn't like she ever paid attention to what he did. And Allary seemed to like Michael, which was funny, because Michael had told Travis that he liked Allary. Travis didn't think she deserved Michael.
"Where do you think the generator would be?" Travis asked.
"Dunno. It could be anywhere. Maybe this storage room?" Allary shrugged.
"I don't see why not."
They entered the storage room, which had wire shelves everywhere. Allary shone her flashlight on the walls and walked around one side of the shelves.
"Aha! Found it!" He heard Allary cheer, and then the lights came on.
*Michael*
The lights came back on, and the camera tablet did, too. The tablet showed a large cat hauling itself into the vents.
"Oh, shit. Now there's a fucking cat in the vents." Michael groaned.
"In the damn vents?!" Madison squeaked.
"Unfortunately. We'd better avoid the ventilation grates."
"Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my fucking god."
The girl wound both hands in her hair, breathing heavily.
"It's okay, Madison. We'll be fine." Isabelle said, attempting to reassure Madison.
"How do you know? How could you know?" Madison demanded, causing Isabelle to flinch away from her.
"Hey, she's just trying to help." Evan said, placing his hand respectfully on Isabelle's back.
"God, where the hell is Travis when I need him?" Madison cried.
"I'm sure him and Allary will be back soon." Michael mused.
*Allary*
Allary stepped back from the power panel, making a small sound of pride. She turned around, ready to get Travis and get back to the others. The phone on one of the shelves suddenly rang. She picked up the phone, hoping it was someone who could help them. But as soon as she touched it, someone started talking. They were on speaker.
"Well, you have all made a big mistake in coming here. You're trespassing. Now you'll have to pay the price. You've met my wolf, correct? Yeah, he'll be a bit slower, since he just ate. But I've got another toy for you, and it loves, lllooooovvvvveeesss to play. Enjoy, kids. While you can. Hahahahahahaha." A man's voice said.
Allary couldn't breathe.
'Another one? No. We need to get back to the others.' She thought.
She'd only taken a step forward when she heard a small thump above her. She froze, and heard a low, loud vibrating sound.
'What the hell is that?' She thought, and then it hit her.
'Purring. Oh no...'
Travis peeked around the shelf Allary was standing by. Allary desperately motioned for him to be quiet.
"What the hell, who was that? We have to find the others and get the hell outta here. Let's go." He instructed.
With a loud crash, the cat animatronic fell through the ceiling and landed directly between the two teenagers, facing Travis, who yelled and ran away. The cat chased after him, leaving Allary alone. She took deep breaths, trying to calm herself.
'Travis will be fine. He's on the track team. He's got incredible speed and stamina. He'll be fine. He'll be fine.' Allary thought, slowly walking forward.
She peeked into the hallway. She heard distant yelling and metallic creaking, but saw nothing. She ran down the hall back to where the others were. Or, where she thought they were. She flung open the door to the room she'd thought they were in, and came face to face with the wolf. Allary screamed and slammed the door, turning tail and running in the opposite direction. She heard the door bang open behind her, and heard loud, heavy footsteps, and metallic screeching as the metal of the wolf's joints rubbed together.
She reached the bars from before, and veered through a doorway to the right. She kicked the door shut behind her, and ran through another doorway, to the other side of the bars. She slammed that door shut too, and took a few steps backwards, away from the door. Allary's foot touched down on something with a sickening squishy sound. She cringed, and looked down. What she saw made her very sick to her stomach.
