"Urghhh...I don't suppose you are that stupid," Antoine said. "Oh and that's also the reason why Candice was shocked at that time when I said I'll you to work in this cafe, you know, a human working in a vampire cafe....?" He raised his brow and questioned me. 

I didn't say a word and just stared at him, my mind was blank.

"...Hey, I'm not going to do anything to you, but, if you said a word about us......" He then sat down beside me.

"Um, isn't that a bit too close...?" I murmured and move away from him , but he scooted over. All of a sudden, his cold hands was gently wrapped around my neck.

"Eh...?" Then just as I realised what he wanted to do, he increased his force and gripped my neck.

"Eurkk!!" I gasped for air, what's worse, Antoine was smiling at me while he was trying to kill me.

"I…Won't…Say…A…Word………" I uttered as loudly as possible.

"Hmmm…?" Antoine then released me, "Really?"

"Yes! I swear!" I declared, I was trembling inside.

"Huh really, and how can you prove it, Miss Black? What if you told others?"

"I…Er……"

This is not good… I thought to myself.

"Ah well, I think you can't prove it. Then, you shall stay here and be a waitress, you cannot leave and quit the job," He said to me seriously, without blinking, his red eyes seemed to be looking right through me.

"Okay…" I told him. Its strange as I didn't have the intention to quit my job though.

"Well, good. I will see you later then," Antoine smiled kindly, as if nothing had happened. "Now hurry to school."

"Yess!!" I almost ran out of his office.

"Isis, you are late," Mr Davidson's voice echoed in the classroom.

"I'm terriblely sorry!!" I apologized immediately.

"Hmm, anyway, let's continue our lesson."

"Ughh! Antoine!!! Its all your fault!!" I grumbled.

"Good afternoon!" I said, basically, to myself.

"Ohhh, now aren't you the girl who figured out our 'secret'?"

"Huh…" I was face to face with a girl, around my age, with short candy apple red hair, she was smiling.

"I-I didn't mean… it…" I stuttered.

"It's alright, it's better to have a human to work here, I've always wanted to learn more about them!"

"Really? Um that's good," I said.

"Right? I'm Adeline, and you…?" She asked.

"Oh I'm Isis, Black," I introduced myself.

"Nice to meet you!"

"Me too!" I replied cheerfully.

"Adeline… Can you give me a han--"

"Isis…?!!" It was Chris, with a extremely surprised expression on his face. Come to think of it, he was the one who asked me to bring the food to… them.

"Hi there…"

"I… I'm so sorry about this, I didn't know that the customers, you know, were doing inappropriate stuff…" He sighed.

"Ah it's alright, um…"

"Wow, you two know each other already! Chris, why don't you show Isis around and introduce us workers?" Adeline suggested.

"Oh sure," Chris replied. "C'mon, get changed and I'll show you around."
