Taking Jimin to the hospital didn't seem like a good idea since the nearest town was a 5-hour drive.

But as Jin worked on his wounds the next couple of days, they seemed to be getting better. And now Jimin was able to walk around by himself, well not completely by himself.

"Hyung I'm just going to the washroom," Jimin said, loosening his hand from his hyung's grip.

"I can come with you," Yoongi stated, already making his way to their destination ahead of them.

Jimin pulled him back, "Baby I love you, but I think I can take a piss without being watched."

Jungkook sat the kitchen table, observing the couple in front of him. There seemed to be a considerable amount of tension, almost as if the hadn't talked about what Yoongi had said the night before Jimin almost died.

"...take your fucking pills for once and maybe things would change!"

Jungkook hated it when his friends would fight, but in a weird way, it made him feel content.
Because it proved that their relationship isn't as perfect as they make it out to be.

And that brought a slight smile to his face.

Jungkook was brought out of his thoughts by a sudden yell.

"Fine!" Yoongi yelled and Jimin's eyes widened.

He didn't know what he said to make Yoongi so mad.

"Take your fucking piss, I won't baby you anymore. I'm sorry I fucking care about you." The older stormed to his room slamming the door shut.

Hoseok waddled out of the hallway, a confused look on his face. He looked towards Jungkook, who gave a shrug in return.

"I'm just gonna, yeah okay bye." He said, walking back towards the hallway and into his room with a small click.

Jimin sighed, falling onto the couch and wincing slightly at the impact.

Jungkook felt like this was the right time to cut in, "You know, you should probably go settle things with him. Talk to him about what happened before you almost died."

It seemed like after Jimin's wound had almost healed, everyone had just seemed to stop talking about the man with the crazy grin. Like it just flew from everyone's minds.

But it was in Jungkook's head all day.

"I just-" Jimin choked slightly, "I feel like I need some space, he's just been with me everywhere I go constantly. And it's really just a bit of a bother now. Like I'm fine now, he doesn't need to worry about me like I'm a child that broke his limbs."

Jungkook scoffed, this kid was dense. "It's because he feels guilty, idiot. He thinks it's his fault you walked into the woods."

When really it's mine. Jungkook thought.

Jungkook knew there was something in the woods that night. He knew that it wasn't a good idea

But there was a small part of him that wanted to see what would happen
So he can prove that he wasn't crazy

But that logic only seemed to make him crazier.
Who allows their best friend for 5 years to walk into a forest with a psycho killer in it just to prove a point?

Apparently, Jungkook does.

Jimin seemed to be at a loss for words, yet he also seemed to be deep in thought. He rested his hands on his thighs, moving them up and down in a soothing manner.

Jungkook decided to interrupt again.

"Hyung?"

Jimin looked over, raising his eyebrows in a way that said: "What up?"

Jungkook looked at his hands. In a way, he almost felt like it was him that almost killed Jimin. But the idea he had couldn't leave his mind. He could've stopped it from happening, but...
At least he's not crazy right?

"Is there a chance that you could go into the woods again?"

But the look on Jimin's face made Jungkook have second thoughts about his sanity. "What the fuck do you mean "go in there again."? Of course, fucking not."

Jimin got up from his seat and walked over to Jungkook at the kitchen table, resting his hands on the other side. Although the look in his eyes would seem threatening to literally anyone else, when Jungkook looked at him, he didn't really feel anything.

Maybe that's why he let Jimin off into the woods so willingly.

"If you go back, that man is going to want to finish his business. Then we can catch him, send him to the authorities or something." Jungkook said.

Authorities? Pft, Jungkook what are you thinking? There's no cell service, and no one is going to willingly drive 5 hours with a murderer in the passenger 's seat.

Jimin stared, his voice husky but small at the same time, "So I'm like bait?"

Jungkook nodded, were they really gonna do this?

"If I go back there and we catch him..." Jimin started, he looked down at his hands and clenched them tightly. "I want to kill him myself."

He looked up at the younger, continuing his statement. "We kill him, and then we dump his body in the lake, or bury it deep in the woods. Then we leave, and our lives will be back to normal."

Jungkook stayed unfazed, he wasn't that surprised at the request. But he knew Jimin would never be able to do it.

Jimin was too much of a pussy to kill a man.

Before Jungkook was able to respond, Jimin got up from the chair and walked towards the dimly lit hallway, probably to his and Yoongi's shared bedroom.

"We don't have to decide completely now, we can wait until you're healed fully to put you back out there," Jungkook said, his back turned.

Jimin stopped in his tracks, "I think I've already made my decision."

Jungkook heard the bedroom door close, and a small smile crept onto his face.

Soon, he'll be able to prove to himself that he's not crazy. And this won't all be for nothing.

He knows whoever that was is out there, waiting for him.

Jungkook stood up from his chair and walked towards his bedroom. The sun had begun to go down, and the cabin seemed a bit more chilly than usual. Jungkook realized how much time he really had, it's only been a few days since Jimin was injured, and it'll be a while until he's completely healed. Until then, Jungkook needed as much evidence as he could gather.

Jungkook stepped inside his room, inhaling the familiar smell. He walked towards the ajar closet, staring at it.

"Let's see what we have here now?" Jungkook said, he reached his hand on the doorknob and slowly creaked it open.

At the bottom laid two white t-shirts, one stained with dirt and grime, the other with droplets of blood.

The shirt was damp, and when Jungkook touched the blood spot and small part of it smeared on his hand, covering his fingertips in a slight orange tint. He knew for a fact that this was Jimin's blood.

Pushing the T-shirt aside, he uncovered a small black box.

"What the hell is this?" Jungkook whispered.
Taking the box in his hands, he walked over to his bedside and sat down gently.

He took the top off the box, and a slight gasped escaped his mouth as his eyes widened.
There was a stack of Polaroid photos.

Jungkook dumped out the photos on to his bed and began to look through them all.

The first few photos seemed familiar.

It was the same girl in the red sweater, next to her was a young man in a grey t-shirt. The couple were at the front door with a smile on their faces, they seemed to be setting their luggage down.

There was another photo next to it displaying the 5 boys Jungkook recognized as his hyungs, setting down their luggage. The living room in this picture is identical to the last made Jungkook realize.

This was taken place in the same cabin, in the same room, at the same angle, but... at different times.

He placed the two photos aside and looked through the rest of them.

All of the rest were photos of them.
At the lake, during their bonfire, in the car when they had first pulled up.

The last photo was just of Jungkook, and it looked to be the most recent one.

Jungkook stood on the porch, just outside the door and stared directly into the camera, just minutes after Jimin had appeared from the bushes.
