"Lacey...... turn that alarm off. It's annoying. I wanna sleep." I reached my arm over to where the alarm was, "Owe...owe... owe... LACEY I'm not the alarm.. OWE!" I mumble my apologizes and open my eyes to look for the alarm.

-Right side Lacey

Right....I turn my body so that I could reach the alarm. I smiled sleepily, "Ha take that alarm thing."

Diablo barked at us, then jumped on the bed and started licking the half-asleep Becky. "Diablo.. no...." She started swatting her hand around.

"Lacey, Becky. Breakfast is ready!" Diablo barked in response causing Becky and I to start laughing softly. We got out of bed and grabbed clothes, that we were going to wear today, and headed downstairs.

We put the clothes in the downstairs bathroom, and went to eat with my mother. "How'd you girls sleep?"

Becky nodded, "Good, how about you Lily?" Mom smiled, "Same. You excited for school?" Uh-oh.

Becky's face lit up, "Of course! I can practically taste the gossip right now!"

I shook my head, "And if you want to get to school for that..." Becky jumped to her feet and hurried to the bathroom to change, I laughed and followed her.

Today was gonna be another warm day, so we both wore jean shorts and a tank top (that was school appropriate of course). We threw our hair in a pony and went to the door to put our shoes on. It was seriously crazy that we wore almost the exact same thing, I wore converse and she wore Faded Glory boots.

I grabbed my keys and headed outside to my truck. It was a real beauty, a red 2014 Ram Power Wagon. Dalton did an awesome job on the design.

We hopped in the truck and started for school. When we got there I parked the truck close to the building. Grabbing my schedule and phone I opened the door and walked out to the building with Becky next to me.

When we walked inside it smelled so clean and sweet, most likely from the pies that they make for the students.

Ziak walked up to us and gave us both a hug, "It's been too long girls, how were your summers?" He has such a cute accent.

Becky smiled, "Great how about yours Ziak?"

Ziak smiled at her, "Good."

I smacked him in the arm, "Shouldn't you be eating, like six pies right now?" Becky burst into laughter, "She's right Ziak."

Becky grabbed me by the arm and walked to the gym. When we walked in Juniors and Seniors were setting up tables for athletic sign-ups. We walked over to where Coach Smith was setting up the Gymnastics table.

"Hey Coach. When do they come for sign-ups?"

"Hi Lacey, Becky. They're bringing them in around one, plenty of time for you girls to finish setting up. I have to go to a meeting, I should be back in time though for the sign-ups."

Becky smiled sweetly at Coach, "No prob Coach, we can do that."

Coach smiled gratefully and walked out of the gym for her meeting. No sooner than we set up the table three cheerleaders came over and started talking with us.

Why can't they leave us alone. Erase that. Why WON'T they leave us alone?

"-and Danny is going to go for football again. He is soooo going to be QB." I nodded with them to make them leave but they wouldn't instead the head cheerleader, Sally, turned towards me and asked if I've seen Jake.

I looked at her with a look that I hoped said get lost and snapped back, "How should I know Sally. You're dating him now, not me."

I left Becky to talk with the cheerleaders and walked across the gym to grab two chairs for our table, when I walked into something hard. I fell backwards and glared at the wall that stopped me, only to see brown eyes watching me in amusement.

"Jake."
