Mark gripped Hoseok's hand a little harder as he recounted his time in the lab he shared with the Twins to Director Bang.

He started from the first day the Twins arrived at the lab, "unlike me, they were not born there. They were kidnapped from their home, a place where royalty existed and they had always been obsessed with the idea of ruling over their own kingdom.

They would always say that once they got out, they will make a throne for themselves.

The three of us were kept in the basement. I did not see any other children and all the resources on that level were committed to us.

Joohyun and Suji were talented. Joohyun was a natural at casting spells and Suji was able to create her own poisons and remedies.

Their trick of letting their enemies live in their deepest desire and fear is Suji's effort. She developed a preliminary version of the poison powder in the laboratory. When ingested, the user would develop hallucinations. Their strategy was for Joohyun to spread the powder with wind spells.

It was potent and I knew because I...was their first experiment. The effects were so realistic I would have taken my own life if Joohyun did not feed me the antidote on time."

Hoseok gripped Mark's hand tighter who smiled at him in reassurance. He has always hated this part. Thank goodness Mark had pulled through.

Mark continued, "the poison was ready and they had planned to break us out of the laboratory with it. I knew of their plan because to some extent, they did care for me after years of being in the laboratory together, and because they knew I wanted to get out as well.

But they never managed to carry out their plan. Before we could escape, someone broke into the laboratory. I was weaker than usual that day after overexerting myself during an experiment and had fainted after the intruder alert sounded.

By the time I woke up, we had left the laboratory far behind.

It was a happy thing, wasn't it?" Mark's tone indicated otherwise and Hoseok squeezed his hand in support.

Mark took a deep breath and continued, "Joohyun and Suji looked for young Extraordinaries to join us and started to build up Lexicon. They were not kind and punished children who disobeyed. They had learned from the best after all, and did the same things as the doctors from the laboratory. I was not spared, but they were more merciful and careless with me.

Once I recovered enough, I ran. I don't know how much time had passed when I finally found Galactica after living in different places.

I believe that they will have their followers take a temporary antidote when they spread the powder everywhere when we attack. We should be prepared."

"The poison created by the Twins are original. Without knowing what ingredients and spells are in it, it is impossible for us to create the antidote. Therefore we can only undergo training to reduce the effects of the poison," Taehyung explained to all the agents participating in the mission.

"Including Bambam and Yugyeom, because we do not know if your natural immunity will work against their concoction, I will first see what your deepest desires and fears are, then we will face them together.

We do not expect to resolve these. If it is that easy, we would be on planet 21 by now. Knowledge is power. We aim to know what they are so that we would not be caught by surprise during battle. We will be able to recognise that these are just hallucinations and then break out of it.

We will do this one agent at a time and everything will be kept confidential and off records."

Taehyung took two weeks before he was left with the last agent, Jungkook.

They decided to have his training in a place he is comfortable in, so that he can relax for Taehyung to look into his mind. They chose Taehyung's dormitory room. Specifically, their blanket fort.

Jungkook glanced at Taehyung who was seated across him, "is this necessary? I can set up an energy shield, and probably for more than one person, and the poison wouldn't get to me."

"Kook, you never know if you need to withdraw your shield for any reason or if the powder can somehow get past. I know it will be uncomfortable, and I promise no matter what I see, I will not judge you and our friendship would not change."

Jungkook pursed his lips. There is no way that would happen if Taehyung sees what is in Jungkook's mind, but he knows how important this mission is to Taehyung...

"You promise?"

"I promise," Taehyung replied, determined, but flinched because it sure as hell hurt when Jungkook shook his hand away. It felt as if he was slapped in the face when he promised and Jungkook doesn't trust him enough to take his word.

"No, Tae, it's not what you think," Jungkook panicked when Taehyung turned and climbed towards the exit of their blanket fort, barely concealing his hurt expression and wanting to just leave and the heck it is Taehyung's apartment why should he be the one leaving?

Taehyung turned and Jungkook was relieved for a second, thinking Taehyung changed his mind, but was quickly alarmed when Taehyung's eyes turned violet.

Oh no, Jungkook has a very clear idea of what is going to happened when he was suspended above the ground and his tailbone is starting to ache from his inevitable fate of being dumped outside Taehyung's door once again.

"I like you and you're really sexy! I mean you'll find people you like attractive and you're already really nice to look at. God, what am I saying?"

"W-what? Is this your plan to stay here?" Taehyung asked, flushing lightly and Jungkook is back on solid ground.

Jungkook reached for Taehyung's hand, "just...I want to tell you this myself. You can do your thing and you'll get what I mean."

Taehyung hesitated, but Jungkook's embarrassed yet sincere expression and let's face it, Taehyung can't stay mad at Jungkook for long, had the doctor closing his eyes in concentration.

Jungkook breathed deeply, focusing on keeping his powers from attacking Taehyung who is invading his mind.

Taehyung is searching for the right thought. The heavier they feel to him, the more important they are to Jungkook. He found Jungkook's deepest fear first and it was kind of sweet.

He means, there's nothing sweet about seeing Jungkook's most important people die but it stems out of love, all of them thought by Jungkook as his family. Jin, Yoongi, Namjoon, Hoseok, Jimin, Director Bang, Doctor Choi, his other friends and... Taehyung.

Taehyung looked around some more. What is Jungkook's deepest desire?
