Madi must have gone out with those friends of hers so when I arrived home I saw four bags of stuff in my room, the scent smelling like a musky old spice can. I picked up a few bags from my walk in closet and started packing clothes into them along with essentials such as deodorant and perfume.

Yall know I cant live without my concealer and mascara so obviously I had to pack that too. It was funny how my life changed so much in a matter of a school day, I guess going over to lilians was my best option.

Ever since we moved after the incident lilian was the first friend I made, she was my school guide and she got my number and since then we haven't stopped talking. I may sound dramatic going to someone elses house for five days just because some teenagers are staying over but I honestly haven't been feeling the best lately. 

I finish packing my bags and head outside, putting my stuff in my car another pulls up except this time its a black toyota sienna van. It looked nice, sleek and clean, despite the looks I wonder what it is doing parked outside my house.

I look over to see madi getting out of it and my mom, did they get a new car?. "Ahh piper, thank goodness your still here, we want to introduce..." my mom states, still talking I zone out looking at one of the boys, thank god I zone back in before she had finished talking.

"I-I hi?" I say hesitantly as three same faced people looked at me, even though I had knew they were triplets I certainly wasn't expecting them to look so similar. "Hi I'm nick, I see you alot but I guess we havent talked" he said going in for a handshake. 

"Hi I'm matt, I'm nick and chris's brother" matt says going in for a handshake as well. He was near the same height as me and his cheekbones were chiseled by god himself I mean all three of theirs were.

"Hi I'm chris, I'm their brother" he chuckles awkwardly, I got slightly lost in his eyes but snapped out of it as soon as he had finished talking. "Hi, I'm piper madi's sister and lauras daughter." I say but when it came out it sounded so much more cringe than it needed to be. They just smiled and left, damn.

I get in my toyota corolla, sitting in it I immediately feel regret not packing my speaker. My car was broken and I was due for a new one, my dream car was a mercades glc but I knew I wasn't going to get one.

The twist here is that if madi wanted one she would get it instantly, she was the favorite child and was the only one that mom and dad were proud of. Since she did youtube and was pretty famous doing tours and trips for her job, our parents couldnt be happier.

I was kind of just the fuck up child, I didn't do any sports growing up, got bad graades, certainly did not do youtube and not to mention I ran through therapist after therapist. Although I may seem semi-fine now it took me a while to get here.

I get to lilians and she wasnt there, so I called her. She told me that she would be here at 3:00 onwards, it was 5:30.

"lils where are you?" I ask her, I heard her sniffling on the other line "m-my dad h-he died" she said between sniffles. Not only was it upsetting to me but I cant imagine how her family is dealing with this right now he was so nice and family orientated.

He was like my second dad, so I teared up before saying, "w-what? how? are you ok?", "I-I'll be fine but he died in a motorcycle accident someone hit him from behind" she said into the phone, no one was going to take this lightly.

After a few minutes on the phone to her and her family, I drove off. Today has been a shit day, my practical father figure dies and some musty kids are sleeping in my room. I just hope they arent annoying and easy to kick out cause I cant stay anywhere else.

I park my car outside of the house in hopes that the dread of having a fight over some kids with my mother would jut disappear I'm a dumbass and think that its gonna happen, newsflash it wont.
