Ok guys, so I'm sure most of you are aware of the whole personal information leakage issue wattpad has gotten into.

So I went to change my account password (which was suggested everyone do) and I can't. Because guess what? I've been using auto-fill for flipping ages- embarrassingly, for years.

I'm 90% positive of what my password is however wattpad is saying that the one I've tried using is incorrect so I'm like wtf.

I've been kicked of of the app on my phone and now I'm worried I'll be kicked out here- on my laptop.

This is what happens when I try to log into Wattpad on my phone.

'Please reset your password in order to log into your account.'

How tf am I supposed to reset my password if I can't log in? Into my old email either?

I'm kinda stumped at this point to be honest :/

So I'm panicking a little.

In case worst comes to worst and I do lose this account, I have made a backup - KuroBaraArisu 

I may have to continue my stories there...and lose most of my friends, followers and story drafts...

Guys, please try and reset your passwords (assuming you have access to the emails you have linked to your profiles), and be careful with what personal info you are entering into your profile.

I'll keep updating here regardless if Wattpad replies to my concern email, but if I don't update in months, assume that I have gotten kicked off and I've republished my books on my other account.

As I was going to revamp this anyway, the revamp will appear on this new account KuroBaraArisu

So keep a look out there :)
