Back at the base, Johnny tells Michelle to let him analyze the card that Viviano took from a dead M.A.N.T.I.S operative. The card remains covered in blood, a statement of the bloody aftetmath of Viviano's kill.

"Alright, let's hope this works," says Johnny. Johnny uses a DNA swiper cloth, to take a sample of the victims blood and he runs it against a DNA scanner.

"We have a identity reveal. The last person who touched this card is a person named 'The Puppet Master'," says Johnny.

"The Puppet Master? Tell me why that name sounds intimidating?" ssks Christy.

"Well, it says here, that The Puppet Master is a master strategist and a dangerous killer, capable of committing chaos and destruction, wherever he or she goes," explains Johnny.

"So she was the one behind the attack on the mayor, why?" asks Alison.

"That is what we are going to find out, Johnny, you and Michelle find out more about this 'Puppet Master'. Viv' Ian and Christy, we are going to the crime scene," says Ronald.

"What about the rest of us?" asks Alexandria.

"The rest of you will stay here, you guys can help Johnny," says Ronald. Meanwhile, in a distant oil factory, Ashrah Del Rio and Odepius Von Kuregan report to the Puppet Master, by bringing a Political Representative to the factory. Battered and bloodied, he stares in horror of the Puppet Master's ominous appearance.

"Good work you two, I will take it from here," The mysterious Puppet Master says, taking slow, deliberate steps towards the Representative.

"Who are you?" The Representative asks, his voice trembling.

"No one of consequence," says The Puppet Master.

"If you are looking for money, I do not have any," says the Representative.

"Money... that is all you politicians understand. Let me show you a world, where money is irrelevant... a world where people like you , are all but worms under my heel," The Puppet Master then shows the Mayors broken body, hanging from a noose on the ceiling.

"Like you, the Mayor thought that money is the key to control, the key to peace. The hard truth is... that there is no peace, no order, only unrest and anarchy exist. We are not conquerors, nor terrorists, but simply messengers of the cause," The Puppet Master gently places both of her black gloved hands on the Representative's face.

"And the message, my good sir, has been sent," she hisses. A sound of two blades then go through the Representative's skull, and he falls to the ground, motionless.

"Ashrah..." The Puppet Master says whlie she slowly cleans the blood from her blades.

"Sire..." says Ashrah.

"Take him to the surface, but make him the visual of unrest that he should be portrayed as. The time has come to give this city, a true slice of anarchy," says The Puppet Master.

Meanwhile, at the sight of the Charity Ball massacre, Viviano, Ronald, Christy and Ian, investigate the crime scene, to find out more about M.A.N.T.I.S.

"So, this is what M.A.N.T.I.S is capable of..." says Christy as she inspects a bullet riddled corspe.

"I'm afraid so," says Ian.

"We've delt with terrorists before, but this is different, they crossed the line," says Ronald.

"Well, we crossed the line first. We took an oath to combat terrorism of any kind. Now, we have a terrorist unit, that is fully beyond what we understand," says Christy.

Viviano grabs the destroyed microphone that killed the Mayor. Inspecting the object, Viviano comes across something interesting.

"There is an explosive compound, fused with acid, in this microphone. Some of the acid burned in the Mayors face before it blew his head apart," says Viviano.

"So, what now? We obviously have no evidence to gather here," says Ian.

"Actually, there is one piece of evidence that we can use," Viviano uses her knife to gather up samples of the dried acid, and she pours it into a flask.

"Okay, let's head back, Johnny may be able to help us further with this," says Viviano. Back at the base, Viviano gives Johnny the vial full of dried Acid, from the destroyed microphone.

"What the hell is this?" asks Johnny.

"It's a vial full of dried acid. It was mixed in with the explosive charge that was in the Mayor's microphone," says Viviano.

"I bet I can find out where this acid came from, by tracing it's brand to any factory that has this specific compound," Johnny goes over towards the blue digital research keyboard and traces the acid back to an abandoned warehouse near a waterfront.

"This is where the acid came from, odd place for a potential hideout," says Johnny. Viviano then sees something on the left side of the screen, that catches her attention.

"Johnny, rewind the tape please?" Viviano requests. Johnny rewinds the camera footage to the very beginning of the crime.

"Stop!" says Viviano. Johnny pauses the footage, showing four blurred out bodies.

"Enhance the picture," Viviano requests.
Johnny enhances the picture quality of the camera footage by nintey five percent and it shows the Puppet Master, beating down a politician and dragging him into the factory compound.

"Why are they kidnapping politicians?" asks Ian.

"Only one way to find out," says Ronald.
Ronald rounds up a tactical team to go to the factory, hoping that they would find something.

"I'm going with you," says Viviano as she relocks her promethium vest.

"No, you need to stay here, and help Johnny find out more about this Puppet Master," says Ronald.

"I'm not asking!" says Viviano. While on their way to the factory, Ronald turn his head to Viviano, puzzled about her attitude as of late.

"You okay Viv'? You seem a little..."

"I'm fine Ron... let's find out more about this Puppet Master," Viviano interrupts him, leaving Ronald more concerned. The team makes it to the abandoned factory, and they see a trail of still fresh blood going into the factory compound.

"Search the entire area, if you find anything that is evidence, bring it to us," says Ronald.

"Well should look too," Viviano suggests.

"Agreed," says Ronald. The team looks around the empty componud, searching for any evidence that could help them unveil the truth about the Puppet Master, but they are unsuccessful thus far.

"So far, we have found nothing," says Ronald.

"I wouldn't say that, take a look at this," Viviano says, calling Ronald over to her location. Viviano then shows Ronald a large bloody knife, that she found near a garbage chute.

"OK guys, let's get back to headquarters," says Ronald. Meanwhile, Hobbs and the President talk about the recent attack, at the art gala earlier today, while meeting with the cabinet at the Mayor's office.

"We narrowly escsped that attack earlier today," Hobbs says while sipping a cup of coffee.

"How did they know about the gala today Hobbs?" asks President Johnson.

"My men are all over it... we will find out what this organization is, and we will take them down," says Hobbs.

"Well, you be careful Hobbs, you and the C.H.A.O.S unit are our last hope left," says The President. President Johnson then looks out the window, only to see a mutilated body, hanging from a noose.

"Jesus!" The President screams.

"Jesus Christ... this is one of the politicians," says Hobbs.

"We need to get him down," President Johnson tells Hobbs. Two hours later, outside of the penthouse, construction workers helped Hobbs get the politician's body down from the noose. On the politician's chest, there lies a note written in blood. Hobbs takes the note and he sees a red mantis with the words, "Mantis is coming, MANTIS IS COMING!"

Meanwhile, Ronald and Viviano arrive at the Special Forces Base one hour later, with the rest of the tactical team in tow.

"Well, that was fast. Run into any trouble?" asks Johnny, while inspecting the destroyed microphone.

"No, the place was clear. But we did find this," says Ronald. Viviano then shows Johnny the bloody knife that they found at the scene.

"We need you to examine this knife for any fingerprints, it could lead us to whoever this Puppet Master is," Viviano says.

"Well, that won't be the only thing I will be examining. Hobbs called me, said he found a bod," says Johnny.

"Who is the victim?" asks Ronald.

"A United States Politician, he was hanging outside of the Mayor's office," says Johnny. Two hours later, Hobbs and a medical team bring in the body for Johnny and the others to examine.

"Okay, let me see the body first, then we will take a look at this knife to see any connection," says Johnny.

"I'll help you, after all, I am also a certified nurse," says Alison, as she puts on rubber gloves over her hands.

"You are a woman of many talents," says Ronald.

"Thanks, I try," Alison says with a grin. Alison and Johnny then begin to carefully examine the body for clues on MANTIS, and The Puppet Master.

"We've got lacerations on both the arms and legs, bruise marks around the left eye, and it looks like like a bloody gash on his ribs, all of these wounds are still fresh, what kind of knife kills a person, leaving the wounds fresh?" says Alison.

"I found his ID, name Kurt Andrews, Secret Service agent and former CIA operative. Served two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan," says Johnny.

"Whoever did this attack, was very precise and meticulous in the process, but, she did it without thinking about how she was going to do it," says Johnny.

"This knife, is what she used to slice the victims arms and legs. It's a Phoenix Blade, made of a rare metal that slices the victim and it keeps the wounds fresh for over five months," says Johnny.

"She?" asks Alison.

"Look at the cutting style, precise, visceral, and at times elegant, but not of the nice type," says Johnny.

"Well, whoever this 'Puppet Master' is, it's indeed a female, and I think she'll be looking to make a dramatic entrance soon," says Johnny.

"So all we know is, that the Puppet Master is a woman, she murdered a former secret service agent, and she can strike when we least expect it?" asks Alison who takes of her bloody gloves.

"I'm afraid so," says Ronald.

"I just got a text from Hobbs, we're needed at the Mayor's funeral tomorrow," says Nuada.

"The funeral is going to be packed with extra security, but it may not be enough," Xavier points out.

"Let's get some rest, we have a lot of work to do tomorrow," says Ronald. Later in the night, Viviano is seen meditating, in her designated room area.

"Can't sleep huh?" asks Ronald.

"No..." says Viviano.

"Something keeping you awake?" asks Ronald.

"Just memories, nothing more," says Viviano.

"If there is anything you want to tell me, you know you can talk to me, right?" Ronald asks.

"Yeah, I know," says Viviano.

"Okay, good night Viv'," Ronald says.

"Good night Ronald," says Viviano. The next day, Downtown Chicago, 12:00 noon, the Mayor's funeral is taking place. A news reporter tells the station, she is broadcasting from, the mood and feeling of the event.

"I am standing here right now, in Downtown Chicago, where hundreds of people are lining up the streets, in mourning of Chicago's Mayor. There has also been a wave of social outpouring, for his family as well. As you can see the event is armed with extra security, and secret service agents, to make sure the incident from yesterday's fundraiser, never happens again."

The C.H.A.O.S unit then discuss their plan of security, staying near their convoy truck.

"Okay guys, I am going to stay down here with the President and Hobbs," says Ronald.

"Me and Ian will check out the top floor of the apartments," says Christy.

"I'm gonna monitor the whole event in the convoy with Johnny and the others," says Xavier.

"I will stay down here with Ronald and Hobbs," says Viviano.

"All right guys, be careful," says Michelle, who is in the convoy truck, monitoring the memorial, with Johnny.

"Got it, Stratton out," says Christy.

"Well this is not like our normal routines in the CIA, being on guard duty," says Ian.

"Well, this job promised new horizons for us, I never thought it would be this," says Christy.

"The place is guarded from head to toe, do you think they will show up?" Hobbs asks Ronald.

"Maybe, but it will probably be, when we least expect it," Ronald says as he switches his handgun to burst shot mode.

"It doesn't matter Ronald, we're ready," says Hobbs. The President is then called to the stand, by a reverend, to give his eulogy of the Mayor.

"Thank you all, today is indeed a sad day for Chicago, we have lost one of our great leaders, and prominent humanitarians..." while the speech is going on, Christy and Ian check out the Interior, of the apartment complex, that is on the left side.

"Ronald, so far it's all clear, we don't see any Mantis operatives," Christy says as she inspects the apartment.

"Stay alert nonetheless, we can't afford to be careless," says Ronald.

"Chris! you gotta get over here," Ian calls to her. Christy then makes her way to Ian, and she sees a man tied up and beaten to death.

"Dear god, what happened?" says Christy.

"Apparently, this man was beaten to death... hey, look at this," Ian grabs a note, similar to what was found on the body that Hobbs and President Johnson found yesterday.

"Let the games begin," reads Christy.

"They're here, question is, where?" says Ian.

"...we must remember that vigilance, is the constant measure to saftey," The President says, finishing his speech. The Marines, that were lined up behind the podium, begin to shoot into the sky, to honor the Mayor. After they shoot once, they shoot again, unknowingly causing a gun, stationed on a nearby building on the right side, to fire at the apartment complex, waving off Christy and Ian.

"What was that?" shouts Christy.

Ronald suddenly sees a mysterious figure, with a disfigured black mask, preparing to fire a gunshot at the President. Ronald jumps in the crossfire and takes the brunt of the shot in his upper left shoulder.

"Christy, Ian, Ronald is shot, the Puppet Master is here!" says Hobbs.

"I got her, you take care of Ron!" says Viviano. As Viviano begins to chase after the Puppet Master on foot, the citizens of Chicago are running and panicking, causing downtown to go into a chaotic situation.

"Get the President to saftey, get him to Air Force One!" Hobbs tells the secret service agents.

"Ronald, are you all right?" asks Hobbs as he sees Ronald pull the bullet out of his armor.

"We gotta follow Viv'!" says Ronald.

Meanwhile, Viviano then begins to pursue the Puppet Master, through a shopping mall. The Puppet Master then steals a woman's bike, and she uses it to go up an escalator. Viviano then jumps off of a wall column, up to the upper floor. The Puppet Master then gets off of the bike, and she jumps back down to the second floor.

Viviano then follows the Puppet Master, out the back door and into the street. While avoiding Viviano, she runs into a blocked portion of the street. She then turns around to Viviano, who has her at gunpoint.

"You're coming with me!" says Viviano.

Suddenly, a fighter jet comes down and it fires a missile at a Restaurant, that is behind Viviano, blowing her forward with great force, into the windshield of a car. The Puppet Master, using a grappling hook, skillfully hooks herself onto the bottom of the jet and she fires a grenade launcher at an incoming news helicopter, sending it crashing down to the street below. Viviano slowy slips into unconsciousness, as she sees the Puppet Master escape.
