"harry" she answers the phone

"come over now" he slurs

"harry are you good"

"come over NOW Hana"

"okay calm down, im on my way"

she'd gone too far

everyone knew that

she tried her hardest to break up with him but she felt so bad and when whenever she'd built up enough confidence to do it, he'd always be too drunk for her to tell him anything

she arrives at his flat

the sofas were white one day, but now displayed a sad grey colour from all the stains he'd created

"hey" she fake smiles

"is there something you aren't telling me?" he slurs, you could hear the effect of the alcohol he'd had just from one sentence

"harry what?"

"where were you?"

"at home?"

"no you wasn't"

"what do you mean, i was at home watching TV with Talia"

"you wasn't stop lying to me, you know what'll happen if you keep lying to me"

"oh my days harry stop being so dramatic and have some trust in me"

"i do trust you, im just protecting you"

"no you aren't, your being jarring harry"

he stares at her in the face

"you only look at me properly now that your drunk"

"im not drunk" he lies "keep telling yourself that im the bad guy when you know deep inside that your the problem"

hana rolls her eyes at him and proceeds to walk towards the door

"DID YOU JUST ROLL YOUR EYES AT ME? COME BACK HERE BITCH" he says chasing her, but she slams the door in his face and gets back into his car

this wasn't the first occurrence of something like this, in fact it was a weekly happening, he'd get pissed at her then call her back the next day and say he was sorry about anything he'd said and that he was just drunk

Hana was tired of it all

she'd forgive him every time yet it happens over and over again

she wanted to get rid of him but she really didn't know how, because if he's drunk, which is usually, he won't be happy at all and it won't end well, and the rest of the time she's not pissed enough in the moment so she can't pull out the courage to say it

she walks into the flat

Talia sees the look on her best friend's face and knows exactly what has happened

"what's going on this time"

"he doesn't believe that i was with you all day at home"

"for fucks sake hana, do you want me to go break up with him for you"

"no. no i'll do it soon"

"Hana, you really need to stop being around him, he's no good for you"

"yeah i know, you've told me, Jadon's told me, everyone has"

"your parents still think you like Harry dont they?"

"i can't tell my parents, or Harris especially, you know how overprotective they get, and i don't want any of my dating life drama to get anywhere near the media"
