Hana walks out of Oldham station and begins walking towards the main road so that she can find a cab

she makes sure to walk through the well lit streets through the office blocks, which does mean that it takes much longer than just walking down one alley, but theres no way she's going down it at night, as it was essentially guaranteed she'd get mugged

as she walks, she stumbles upon the library, and she decides to walk in for fun, to check on the note she left in the book

she walks into the library and finds the book on the shelf, in the same place it was just a few days ago

she opens the book not expecting to see anything, and the note is in the same place as she'd left it, however as she turns it over she sees a reply had been written

'wanna be friends then?- j'

a huge smile graces her face as she reads the message over and over again

she runs up to the librarian at the front desk, asking for a pen and paper, and begins to write out a reply

she walks into her flat at around 8 o'clock at night

she looks over to the sofa where Talia layed watching something on her laptop

"how was the family dinner" she asks pausing her video

"i had it today and i already miss it, that stuff is actually so good"

"anyways did anything else happen?"

"well you know about the date, but on my way back from the station i walked into the library and i checked the note i left a while ago"

"nothing?"

"no someone actually replied"

"no way"

"yeah and they was like 'wanna be friends' so like i obviously was like yeah"

"no way do you know their name?"

"nah they just said their name was 'j' so like i wrote 'h'"

"thats kinda cool, i wonder if they'll like actually bother to write back again"
