The male species.

What do guys see when they look at a girl or a woman?

Her clothes?

How much of her skin is exposed?

Her ass?

Boobs? The size of the bust?

How elegant does she look?

What did men do when they had a right over the other woman?

Show her off like a champion trophy?

Place her and use her?

Have standards which should fit like a barbie when they ain't even ken.

What did society think of women? What was her role?

Perhaps a sex machine?

A machine manufacturing future generations?

A CEO who should be confined and under a man?

What happens when we say no for getting laid?

It was great of the man who asked but we said no,

So what did that make us? Ungrateful bitches.

Wenches.

We were ugly already who would bother to even look rather than rail us.

And what if you had a boyfriend or girlfriend or anything really or were into dating?

We are sluts

Immoral

Disrespectful

Whores

Hoes

And the list just. Fucking. Goes. on.

Cause that was all Daehye was thinking about, in front of a narcissist who was a fake ass misogynist, interrogating her with her hands cuffed. She did nothing wrong but then why was she in the Seoul metropolitan police station explaining fault committed by the fellow members of male species so that  she wasn't arrested?

Earlier that day

"Where are you right now?" Ara's voice echoed from the phone and Daehye flipped another page of the book she was pretending to read in the library.

"I'm in the library."

"Headass the library is gigantic." Ara yelled from the phone and Daehye held her phone a little far from her ear now. "In the east wing." She frustratedly declined the call and tried to focus on her course related book again.

"Found you." Ara blew in Daehye's ear and she jumped in her seat. "You won't believe where I'm coming from." Ara continued as she dragged a chair closer to Daehye while it's legs made a screeching sound and for a second all the eyes focused on Ara and just stared at her like she murdered someone.

A student pointed at the no noise pollution board. She bent a little and whispered an apology. "Where?" Daehye kept her palm under her chin.

"Hybe." Ara told her and started taking out something from her bag, meanwhile her best friend's jaw hung in the air. "And I got everything I could from Taehyung's studio." She placed a spiral purple colored notebook on the table and a purple crystal pen.

"Wow, is this for me?" Daehye flashed her puppy eyes on the girl sitting beside her, "no need for those eyes I stole them for you." Ara patted her head and headed her a coffee while sipping her ice tea.

"This pen- god it's beau and it writes well, I'll use it only for writing love letters or lyrics." Daehye moved the pen up and down while she watched the crystals reflect off the light and wrote down something at the back of the book.

"For lyrics- hybe is hunting for some english lyricists." Ara looked at her.

"Well if you're telling this to me then I'm the wrong person honey, the things I write are written under five minutes- they make no absolute sense and they are another word for crap."

"Oh come on Dae they are poetic and they make sense, I'll steal them and submit them to Namjoon oppa." Ara revolted against Daehye's opinion and she passed her a glare, soon it was a competition of furious glares.

"I'll fucking burn them." Daehye slammed the table and yet again all the attention was on them, "you look mean." a boy in glasses said, his eyes fixed on both girls.

"Did I ask you to look at me?" Daehye snapped back and he immediately looked away. "Yeah so- back off Ara." she continued and Ara planned something in her head, prolly she'll get beaten for that but she didn't care.

"I don't even-" Ara choked on the ice tea she was drinking when she took a quick glance of Daehye, she coughed so loudly that the librarian came. "Calm down my daughter."

The librarian gave her a glass of water while Daehye just practically panicked for a minute or so- rethinking what she saw or thought that she presumably choked harder than she might have on her boyfriend's dick. "Are you okay now?" she patted Ara's back and she nodded her head.

Daehye gave an assuring smile to the librarian and packed up her belongings and Ara picked up her bag, because this was the third time they diverted the attention of the other peers. "What happened?" Daehye asked her while exiting the library.

"I saw something." Ara exaggerated, for a second her eyebrows pinched. "What?"

"This." Ara pressed her thumb on top of Daehye's collarbone, "ouch it hurts." she slapped her hand off.

"Yeah hickeys hurt." Ara crossed her arms, "what-" Daehye unlocked her phone and opened the front camera, a red-purplish bruise- it even had teeth marks.

"Fucker marked me that hard."

"Mind to tell me his name at least?" Ara asked her and smirked while the woman standing opposite to her buttoned her top button under the collar button. "Like you don't know." Daehye taunted and started walking.

"Pick your filter." Ara hit her elbow in Daehye's rib cage- teasing her. "I guess you picked the one which goes hard." Ara continued.

"Can you shut your trap for fucks sake there's nothing going on." Daehye further tried to clarify her situation.

Because there was really nothing going on- the flashbacks of yesterday night came rushing to her mind, the way he kissed her- like he was craving her for more than an eternity, or how he held her and kissed her forehead.

The way he said that he doesn't want to be hurt because he didn't want it- it was only for seeking a shoulder at his and her lows. They were selfish and selfless all together.

"There really isn't." a smile plastered on her face, the sun kissing both of their skins, and both of their eyes looked like circular pools of golden honey in a white space behind. "As you say." Ara ruffled Daehye's hair as they continued to walk towards the parking area.

"Hey give me the keys and we'll drive somewhere." Ara opened her palms and Daehye fiddled with her bag before giving her the keys. "Where?"

"Your partly dark academic ass is gonna love it." Daehye roze her eyebrows at her remark, she sat at the passenger's seat as Ara revved up the engine. It wasn't long before the car was stopped in front of an antique shop at the corner of the road, it didn't look old- it was looking rather maintained and yes superiorly aesthetic.

"It's nice isn't it?" Ara asked Daehye and she nodded her head with a smile and both simultaneously got out of the car after parking it at the side. "So what's the purpose?" Daehye asked while opening the door, the aroma of coffee floating around, orchestral music playing softly and a middle aged elegantly yet simply dressed lady stood up from her seat.

"Mrs. Hirai." Ara smiled at the lady and Daehye did a ninety degree bow. The lighting was golden, and the whole store's walls were covered with book racks- filled with literature, both medieval and modern times.

"Is that pocket watch ready?" Ara asked the lady and she took out a velvet box out of the drawer, she opened it and there was a watch with roman numerals, orbited by intricate golden designs and the hands of the watch were also golden. "For him?" Daehye smiled from Ara's shoulder and she happily nodded content with what she had her hands on.

"You have a beautiful store." Daehye said while flipping the pages of a book she picked up but suddenly a 'clunk' sound came when a chain fell which was between the pages of the book. "I guess this is yours." She handed the platinum or silver coated chain to the lady.

"Ahh how can he forget this chain here?" Mrs. Hirai rubbed her nape frustratedly, by her looks the so-called 'he' was perceived to be her husband. "This isn't mine dear, we ordered it long back but it got lost, till now." She continued and the younger woman passed her a genuine smile.

"I'm glad I found it and returned it to you."

"Do you like it?"

"I do." Daehye spoke honestly and checked her back pockets to search for her card. "Can I get it modified?" she continued to ask and the owner smiled. "Yes."

"So can I get a ring and something engraved on it, like attached in the form of a locket?" Daehye asked and the owner seemed to understand her, so she went up to her counter and took out a silver colored ring. It was plain and had a width enough for small letters to fit.

"Which language?" Mrs. Hirai asked her, and she was surprised that besides korean or english she could pick one. Thoughts covered her mind like fog and she pondered her question.

A language which isn't easily understood, which is barely even used.

"Latin but it's a dead language-" Daehye asked her, a glimmer in her eyes but it was barely possible to have it done in latin- even translators mess up and no one speaks the language or understands it. "You can pick it up after an hour, I can try latin translators but if not in that then which one?"

"Maybe french?"

"Come after an hour."

"What- seriously? Like in an hour?" she softly patted her head and all her questions were answered with a simple nod. Daehye scribbled on paper and handed it to the lady, telling what was supposed to be engraved.

"What did you get?" Ara wrapped her arms around Daehye and she looked at her, their faces barely apart. "A pendant for I don't know who." she answered.

---

Daehye was back in her studio house, Ara went back to her parent's house and she was here- it was currently 6 and in that time she had to take a bath and dress up, it was all easy and could've been done in less than thirty minutes if she had decided what she had to wear. At first she thought of just going with denims but then Ara's and Jimin's words echoed.

Please don't come in your sweats and hoodies.

I'll kill you if you wear denims- WEAR TYPICAL DATE CLOTHES!

She tiredly dragged herself to her wardrobe, swapping hangers left and right while searching something ideal to wear, her hands landed on white short jumpsuit made of shimmery white fabric, the cloth reflected like glitter whenever light landed on it and had straps in place of sleeves, she looked at it for a moment, it was fancy enough for a date so she sticked to it and paired it with white heels.

"Aish dressing up sucks." Daehye stripped off her clothes and grabbed her towel and left to clean up. After returning she stood in front of her mirror for a nominal touch of makeup, she just applied the base and golden highlighter with a nude lipstick and silver nudish eyeshadow with applying mascara and liner to add a little weight to her eyes.

{A/N: sorry to interrupt but I don't know shit about makeup and I wrote whatever I saw my mom purchasing.}

She straightened her hair before dressing up and finally wore her heels and picked up her car keys while locking the main door shut. After a few minutes of driving, probably disgusted at the sight of heavy traffic after she exited the suburbs, Daehye tiredly sighed and decided to finally call Jimin cause she had no literal information of where they were going even.

"Hey I just wanted to ask when-" Daehye spoke up when Jimin picked up her phone but he cut her off mid-sentence. "Just come to my house and tell me how long is it gonna take?" Jimin spoke impatiently.

"Prolly some twenty minutes the traffic is quite heavy." she said while pressing her steering wheel. "Call me when you reach."

"Okay."

Daehye pressed the decline button on her steering wheel, cursing the traffic again. Whilst reaching Daehye was stopped at the main gate- which never happened till now.

"I don't exactly remember the flat number but it's the penthouse I think?" she was confused and so was the security guard standing, with his suspicious eyes he picked up the landline and made a call.

"Sir there's a young lady telling she's here to meet you." The guard spoke and for the first time Daehye felt like this whole thing was illegal. "He wants to speak to you." He handed her the landline and a familiar voice spoke up.

"Dae can you please wait in your car for like fifteen minutes more?" Jimin said from the other side.

"Why in the fucking hell-"

"It won't be long."

Turns out Park Jimin was still in his studio who had ordered the security guard to ring him when a black audi showed up, here Daehye was waiting for him in the parking area and Jimin was still stumbling on while zipping his dress pants. Jimin is a hallucination if he ever shows up on time.

"I swear to god this midget first tells me to show up on time and after all that traffic he himself is late. Ughh." Daehye slammed the car door shut and a cold breeze hit her bare arms and legs. She picked up her clutch and decided to just walk to and fro the small confined area.

The following topic has mention or rape and sexual assault, read at your own risk.

Her heels made a click- clack sound, she roze her head to take a glance at the moon, beautiful like always but all of the sudden a scream was heard. She first thought it was just her mind playing games with her instinct but when she heard the high pitched resonating screams again it was obvious that someone was in danger.

Daehye tried to find where the sound came from. Luckily it was not far and just in the corner of the border of the building. It was a man in his mid twenties forcing a teenager to come with her.

"Yaah!" Daehye whipped the attention of the two and the girl ran to Daehye and hid behind her. "Unnie he- he." the girl stuttered, her shirt's sleeve was half torn and her legs had scratches.

"Great, we found another prey." a voice interrupted and it was soon realized that the guy wasn't alone, he had his two friends behind. The two girls were overpowered by three men. "Do you know them?" Daehye whispered and the girl cried.

"No." she said. "If you obey us we will leave you tomorrow morning without a single scratch-" Daehye raised her hand and looked at the man speaking.

"No but I can tell if you leave us then you may go unharmed." Daehye cracked her knuckles and the men surrounding them in a circle started laughing maniacally.

"Do you have any weapons or something?" Daehye asked the small girl behind her and she opened her mouth to whisper. "Pepper spray."

"When I injure someone just spray it in their eyes." Daehye gave her clutch to her. Finally kind of excited to make use of all the self defence classes she took in her late teenage years but kind of afraid if she still remembered the moves.

She took a step forward and with that came a slap on her face, her hair flipping and her lip hurting. She touched her lips and found a streak of blood on the tip of her finger. Rather than doing anything she raised her head again. "That's all you got?"

And at that moment came a hit on his face, that also of her heels, another man groped her waist and just at the moment she pressed her thumbs to his wrists, and turned around to pinch in underarms. The man squirmed and bent and Daehye immediately kicked him in the face by raising her knee with all her might and he screamed when the pepper spray was sprayed in his eyes. He fell down and she took his arm before kicking his elbow again- it made a crack sound.

One man down permanently. Another grabbed her hair, it pained- so much but she turned and hit him in his crotch and when he held his nuts for his dear life she grabbed his hair and pulled them before slamming his head on the car closest to them.

But her confidence was soon washed away when the third man pressed a pocket knife against the girl's neck, his hands travelling under her shirt. "Leave her." Daehye brushed her hair off her face but the man still continued to press the knife deeper on the girl's neck.

"I'll come with you, leave her." she started to approach him and took the girl's wrist and gave the man behind her a glare. She tilted her head and the man let go off her, the pocket knife fell down when the girl sprayed the pepper spray at the corner of his eyes, he was blinded for sometime but not completely so Daehye took the opportunity to snatch the knife but in process she managed to get a cut on her palm.

"Hands up." She showed the pocket knife to him and he slowly raised his hands. "On your knees now." She moved closer to him and kept the knife on his neck. Her hand which was bleeding got covered with a handkerchief. "Unnie thank you." she said while wrapping a soft cloth around her hand,

"Beat him." Daehye looked at the girl and brushed her hair caked with blood, she was still so frustrated. "Beat him." she said again and took out her phone to call the police.

"I would like to report an attempt to rape and sexual assault." she said from the phone, deeply sighing and processing what happened in the past ten minutes Daehye's clothes weren't having blood on them, not a single drop. It was just her lower lip which had a cut and except that nothing. But her heart.

She was afraid now. Not for herself but for the teenager, she just started to see life and maybe it had a big stain from now. "What's your name?"

"Haneul."

"He tried to gang rape you honey." Daehye's voice soothed and she looked at her again, Haneul's eyes which previously had fear and fright were now furious, just at the moment she kicked him in his face.

Soon the police alarms were heard, a black SUV with the alarms blaring and dragging attention from every car coming to the parking lot had their attention.

"These three." Haneul spoke up when a middle aged man opened the gate and got out. "They are badly injured." he said in a conservative tone, his eyes checking Daehye out.

Another misogynist.

"You don't care that they tried to gang rape but you care about how they are badly inured when it was just for a thing called self-defence." Daehye spoke furiously and her voice echoed through the dimly lit space.

"Arrest them." he ordered his juniors and Daehye crossed her arms, Haneul still behind her holding her jumpsuit for dear life. "You have to come for questioning too."

Daehye's wrists got handcuffed and she was forced into the vehicle.

Without a specific reason, why? Because she looked unharmed, or rather because it was all her fault. No because she was dealing with some orthodox.
