Your words cut deeper than a knife.

Major edits in this chap cause some hoes were acting and by that i mean Jimin.

Wow at least keep this shit down guys-

Daehye immediately started walking out of the premises of the fifth floor as the voices deafened, she didn't want to ruin his privacy though a certain disappointment seemed to seep at the back of her head. She wasn't awaiting anything but to say that she had prepared to face someone else was out of context.

While rather than waiting for the elevator she just took the staircase located at the center of the floor, while stepping down she knew that she wasn't really surprised because her overthinking made her think of even a situation like this- it was just an eye-opener that it would have had happened so fast or before she was expecting it to.

Once again Daehye was reading off the names on placards and stopped mid-way when she heard laughter. "Ahhh Daehye." Jungkook got up and immediately a smile covered her face.

"Namaste." she bowed and pulled Jungkook in a side hug. "You didn't meet Jimin?" Taehyung bopped his head up as she swept her head sideways.

"I'm sure that he was busy." she controlled the urge to roll her eyes and tried her best to pass a non- pissed off look. Why am I even pissed? He was just avoiding me for the past one week, it was evident from his texts and right now he was banging some other chick. Yep, Daehye was having a brain and made a use of it fortunately- unlike y/n of course.

So she reached the conclusion of avoiding him too, a thing called self respect and ego were screaming at her right now. "He was just writing lyrics when I came down though." Jungkook sat on his chair.

"I think he caught a distraction." Daehye chuckled and sat next to Ara and laid her head on her shoulder. "Anyways."

"Hyung, is there any private arcade in seoul?" Jungkook typed something on his desktop. "Yeah, why?"

"I was thinking of going to the Arcade- it's been a long time since I went to one."

"Oh great idea, take Byeol unnie with you and win her some stuffed toys." Daehye clapped her hands and Jungkook's face flushed red when she mentioned Byeol.

"You guys wanna join?"

"Nah- I'll be third wheeling the entire you guys can go on a double date."

"Well Jimin oppa can tag along too then." Ara proposed the plan and Daehye squinted her eyes, a scoff spread on her face. "Oppa....." Daehye turned to face Taehyung and he leaned in a little to listen to her.

".......Jimin won't like this plan." she continued.

"Why?"

"Because it involves me." Taehyung's eyebrows pinched together at her response, meanwhile she just nodded her head yes with a straight expression.

"You guys can carry on enjoying it, if you really miss me then please bring some video games and teach me since i only knew a few." Daehye got up from her seat and took out some cash which was folded messily and counted the notes. "I'll just take the bus from here."

"Okay then me and Taehyung-ssi are coming tomorrow." Jungkook teased Taehyung by not calling him 'hyung' and Daehye smiled and nodded her head. "Au revoir alvida."

Daehye closed the door on her way out meanwhile Jungkook just looked at Ara. "Does she flex her bilingual skills every time?"

"Correction: multilingual and yes, I'm sometimes disgusted with it, she usually does it when she is pissed off or with her brother or mother."

"If i were in your place then I would've learned one from her, speaking different languages is cool." Jungkook turned and concentrated on the screen and Ara pretended to call someone.

"Yea Byeol unnie- just wanted to tell you that Jungkook oppa has a kink for languages." Jungkook almost threw himself on Ara whilst snatching the phone from her hands and close to dropping it from his height.

"No no, that's the latest Samsung from it's Z fold series!" she squealed and Taehyung facepalmed at the actions of the younger ones.

After some time being when Taehyung slept on Ara's shoulder and as Jungkook was occupied during the editing of his golden closet vlogs a familiar figure entered and distracted Ara, Jimin's hair were a little disheveled and his posture wasn't really perfect.

"Oppa you must be really tired." Ara softly spoke in order to not wake up the man softly snoring on her shoulder. "Yeah." Jimin grumbled in his raspy voice and sat on the other small l-shaped couch.

"When is your comeback?"

"I think three months." he rubbed his eyes and spread himself on the couch almost close to dozing off. "Is Daehye busy or some shit?"

"No she actually came here to greet you guys but she said that you were preoccupied so didn't really budge you to disturb more." Well Jimin didn't really have any idea that she would avoid him as long as she could because his actions were very likely.

"Well why are you asking about her after all?" Taehyung snapped his eyes open, awake from the entire time he was quite able to come to a final conclusion. A best friend like him who knew legit everything was sometimes bad news, not because they could turn regrettable but because Taehyung would now push Jimin to take himself out of the shithole he created for himself.

Even if he had to throw a punch across his face.

"Last I knew you didn't even check up on her for quite some time. You know what? Just go back and do what you were doing." Taehyung hissed through his teeth.

"Not that I was contacted everyday." Jimin snapped back, a tinge of anger now coming up. "Yeah you switched off your bloody phone and guess what sir? She has self respect."

"What is this having any relation to self respect?"

"Oh it has, you expect her to stay here waiting for you when you couldn't even reply back to 'I hope you are doing well' text and leave it on seen." Ara was puzzled about what was happening in the room, the soulmates were just controlling the urge to shout meanwhile even Jungkook who was bopping his head to Daechwita was now looking back at them.

"Uhm," Realization did come at last, "I'll just go and check up on her." Jimin left, he did fuck up, did act like an certified asshole.

---

After that fight Jimin and Daehye avoided each other for half a month, she would often wait for his call or text but after sometime she realized that maybe Park Jimin's heart was full from what she had to offer, moreover she thought that he was now bored of her.

Rather than taking this to her heart she took more this to her ego. No one had the right to act like someone's forever and just throw them away within a second when they wanted to. This action gave Daehye even more flashbacks of what her ex did to her. This made her hate him even more.

She did like him, hell her heart rate fastened when he came, even after seeing as much of a big ass mess he was she still found herself at a stage where she couldn't bear to not think about him when she saw the sky or read a novel.

But the way Jimin avoider her, left her on seen, fuck another woman pointed to only one thing that was it was over. Whatever they had for maybe three months was just now extinguished.

No she wasn't jealous she just felt like shit to even like him.

"See you guys have basically studied about mendelian experiments in high school- here you have to actually prove how the phenotypic ratio is visible, genotypic is not and all of its ratios. I'll recommend you guys to focus more on the genotypic part since-"

Daehye was helping a group of students who were in their first semester and came across her when she was in a library but as she explained she was interrupted by a call.

Why the fuck is he calling me-

She declined the phone call again, "yes so genotypic ratio more because it's complicated and it will-" another ring went off and she saw the caller ID again.

Jimin and she declined it again.

"Why the more complicated one though noona?"

"Simple because phenotypic is all about the external characteristics whereas genotypic will help you configure the genes and moreover-"

"Fucking hell." she cursed as another ring came but this time she just switched off her damn phone. "Moreover give you a broader view of why you're doing bio genetics and trust me teachers are a hoe for things like these."

"You get this assignment done and watch your grades take a jump." Daehye dropped the pen and the notepad and gave it back to the girl she borrowed it from. "Thanks unnie."

"Anytime, all the best." She swung the bag on her shoulder and left the library. After getting through with her classes she decided to head back to her home but she stopped at the nearest cafe to get a macchiato to calm her nerves.

The cafe was mostly empty since it wasn't that close to Daejeon's metropolitan area. The fresh aroma of coffee was floating in the air but just when she was about to enter a hand held her wrist with a blood stopping grip and turned her around.

"What are you doing here?" her eyebrows pinched as a certain smell of musk and spice was inhaled. "Why aren't you picking up my calls?" Jimin dragged her to his car and pushed her inside.

"Why would I?" she whisper-yelled and scoffed as he sat and removed his mask before turning to face her. "Why won't you?"

"You've been avoiding me for almost a month now, I was busy when you were ringing me and why would you all of sudden contact me like you're in a crisis and I'm the only solution to it?" Daehye snapped back, her face straight and both of them penetrating knife like glares in each other.

"You didn't contact me either for the past 2 weeks." Jimin fake chuckled but his expression was dead serious.

"Yeah like you didn't avoid me for whole ass one week and leave me on seen, of fucking course you were so busy that you couldn't even write an 'I am' to my question. Hell, it would have wasted your precious two seconds."

"I'm sorry about that, you should've come to-" but he was cut off,

"Yeah I did but you were busy, I came when Ara was there in JK oppa's sudio when you guys must've returned." Daehye folded her arms and properly turned her body posture to see Jimin entirely and not just from her side view. Hell, Kim Taehyung was the most conventional and righteous man when he said Jimin is scary when he is angry.

"I was just writing lyrics that day and composing."

"No you were fucking someone else." Daehye finally got that thing off her chest. She was holding it like some enormous weight on her chest. She wanted Jimin to say that it wasn't him, to say that it might've been someone from the staff but it wasn't the case. The way his eyes downcasted just told how much her gut intuition was right.

"Dae, something's wrong. Its not what you are thi-" cut off again.

"No, the thing is about you lying and about how you disappear whenever you want to and call me whenever you're bored. No I'm not begging you to fuck me, nor am I in a mood to get accused of getting jealous. I won't stop you from doing anything."

Anger.

Hate.

Resentment.

Regret, for falling for him and his tactics. She felt it all at that moment, if it wasn't for his cold piercing glares then she might've burst into tears at that exact moment. She blinked away the salt water forming in her eyes.

He was just using you, how can you be so stupid Daehye.

"Fuck whoever you want. Sayonara."

Daehye opened the door and got out of the car, rather than slamming the door shut she left it open and hurried towards hers. As soon as she sat in the car she decided to not return to her home, rather she thought of going to her family, she wanted to get her mind off whatever just happened.

Were all those kisses and hugs and the way he held onto me 'using'? The way he smiled at me or the way his eyes would beg me to stay a little longer, are they counted under getting used? "Probably." she whispered to no one.

She leaned her head on the steering wheel, digesting and replaying everything he said in her head, whatever she said. She couldn't even cry while driving, it would have blurred her vision and moreover the weather wasn't in a great mood. When she reached the front gate of the large bungalow she saw only a few cars parked except one.

The following has mentions of self harm.

"D-noons?" She was about to ring the bell when Daehyun interrupted from behind, he was in his uniform and his bag was still on his shoulder. "You had tuition?" Daehye asked him but he pulled her in a hug, so tight that she was about to choke.

"I missed you so much."

"Mom dad?" She raised her eyes a little and he swept his head sideways. "They have gone to Daegu for some business deal, they'll be home by tomorrow." he said and opened the gate, a house servant greeted her.

"I'm staying here today." Daehye throwed the car keys on the table at the entrance and straight headed to the small bar area. "Whoa girl had a rough day?"

"Nah I just- just nothing." she mumbled to herself and took out a delicate glass and the bottle of baileys. "Should I bring juice for you?" She looked at Daehyun and poured the drink.

"Very funny." he scoffed before joining her whilst sitting on the island table itself rather than the chair. She gulped a whole glass filled with the irish coffee and her brother meanwhile just stared at her dumbstruck.

"This is not a soft drink, it's supposed to be taken in shots." he took the bottle away from her. "Daehyun give it back." she was pissed and he clearly knew it but he couldn't let her risk her health too.

"No."

"I said give it back." she yelled and Daehyun flinched. "No." he slowly said, his deep voice came to be a little stronger than he expected. She brushed her hair off her fingers, her other hand gripped on the glass. She was done with herself, and even now when she felt alcohol could have given her an escape- she was getting forced to give it away too.

Her grip was so hard that after some point the glass shattered, in her hand itself. Drip by drip the blood fell on the white marble floor as she came to the senses of what she did to herself.

Not again. She did this again.

"Noona." Daehyun panicked and called out for someone. "Choi imo." he kept the almost empty bottle on the table, almost close to smashing it. "Get the first aid fast." tears were forming on the brink of his eyes as he was holding Daehye's blood drenched hand.

The middle aged lady who happened to be their helper ran with a white box at his orders, despite the two people panicking Daehye felt emotionless, the deep cut she made herself felt painless.

Daehyun wiped a tear escaping his eye, despite having a buff body or a deeper than ocean kind of voice and honey skin- he was the one who showed and expressed his emotions totally unlike his sister. "Why would you do this to yourself?" He took out the cotton and dipped it in antiseptic and wiped the blood off as gently as he could.

"Daehyun, what do you do when someone you like tells you they don't feel the same?" he looked up at her in surprise, and suddenly he understood everything all too well.

"I will move on."

"What if they don't let you?" a tear escaped her eye, and before she knew her eyes were repeatedly blinking the tears. He didn't say anything but just looked at her, the crying drunk bleeding mess.

Whoever did this to my sister, that bastard or bitch or whoever better be prepared for a solid reasoning or they are fucked.

Earlier;

Jimin drove off back to his workplace, aggressed and confused. Daehye had every reason to be mad, he didn't call her nor did he reply to her text. But some of the things were going unexplained. He leaned back on his seat and stared at the ceiling and just then a flashback.

'You were fucking someone.'

Nah, hell no- even if she and Jimin weren't committed, he wouldn't do such a thing. He was gone to discuss the composition for a song- "Shit." He got up from his chair and picked up his phone from the table.

"Hi, I'm fine I just need some info..... yes the footage of all the cameras around my studio...... not the whole day, just the time around twelve to 2 in the afternoon....... Yeah, thanks please make it fast." And then he ended the call with his manager. If Jimin's theory was correct then supposedly what Daehye had mistaken for him having sex was actually someone else.

The thought of it made him want to puke, he stared at his couch for a second. Decided to shift his whole damn studio to some other room. His thoughts then shifted, from anger to being an upset mess. Why? Because if he gave this explanation to Daehye, she would be for starters be baffled and wouldn't believe in all his kerfuffle.

There were chances that she would slap him, straight on the face. And then he was back to being galled and vexed. How dare someone fuck in his studio. He was praying that his theory was incorrect. His phone rang after fifteen minutes.

"Two trainees, their identities aren't confirmed." Jimin asked himself that why in fucking hell he didn't put a lock on his door. "Why me." He whispered, still on the call.

"Because your studio isn't password protected and personal studios are the only spaces which aren't having security cameras installed."

"Of course, they needed a nice uninterrupted fuck. Fucking horny teenagers. Please do me a favour, send me their reports of how they are training and look for a vacant room in the goddamn building." His manager was awestruck, reason because he didn't swear in front of the people he worked with.

After the call he phoned Daehye, not to give an explanation because it seemed like it was an excuse a husband would give to his wife when he cheated on a ten year relationship. He wanted to apologise for not calling or texting her during the two week duration.

The urge to smash the phone, it went straight to voicemail. "Please don't block me." He got up and left the room.
