bEACH? bITCH?

"Strange." Daehye said to herself when she saw a Bentley parked beside her car in the parking area. After placing the heavy grocery bags on the floor she rewinded the small security screen beside the main gate.

A relieved sigh escaped her lips when she saw Taehyung and Ara enter the house. whilst picking up the bags she decided on to make a good lunch for her sister and her soon to be brother in law, the question was how.

"I guess we'll have to stick with some pasta." Daehye scoffed thinking how unskilled she was, woman didn't know how to cook anything except ramyeon, tteokbokki and a mere chocolate cake.

"It's the hot girl coach and-" she started singing the intro of a song while pouring the ready made sauce in the pan but stopped mid way when she heard echoes, originating from her room.

The more questioning look formed on her face when she realized that Kim Ara and Taehyung were in her house, but where except the room. "Yaah!" she yelled as she ascended on the stairs in a hurry, her doubt now became an obvious truth.

"You don't have sex on someone else's bed." she scolded the couple while slapping the door as hard as she possibly could. After the continuous moaning sounds resonated through the upper house she decided to give up, latching on to the fact that she'll have to buy a new bed.

"I can't believe this." facepalming, the look of disappointment prominent- not because of them banging each other but because of how her account balance will experience an earthquake yet again.

She tried to focus on something else, an assignment but when the constant hints of moans seeped in from the walls she decided to just get out of the house. "Ugh!"

She hurriedly wore her sneakers, checking if her white summer dress was fine and not having any pasta sauce on it. As she shut the door she heavily sighed. Got rid of the people in the house but what about the sun shining directly above her head? Nothing just sit on the damn pavement, maybe scroll on the phone until the Kim couple stopped their business.

Daehye had time, lone time and with that came a free deal of roaming thoughts. Or maybe thought about only one person, the infamous Park Jimin. Yep, dude was a mystery but another thing struck upon her like lightning was the fact that what did he want?

he didn't want her, except that was the exact thing he wanted- no strings attached and no expectations. "That sucks." she said to herself as revelations hit.

The fact that their relationship only existed at night. Because in the broad daylight they just picked up fights.

"Wow, I didn't even realize this until now." Daehye said to herself again, when she realized that all the fights they had- the day he gave her a concussion, the day after she spit noxious words on his face, the day he banged someone else and the afternoon where he met yet again- well let's leave that.

It was a like- dislike relationship.

She hated him at times and at times she wished they would end up together. "Daehye." a familiar voice called out and she turned her head to the side of the door. "Not here." and when that's the point where her heart rate fastened.

"What are you doing at this hour?" She walked towards the car and bent a little. "Well put your big brains into it, I have flowers in the back seat and I'm here. What do you think I'm up to?"

"Man, that's a lot for a date- I wish you all the best, I'm sure you'll impress her." she said sarcastically as she continued to stare at the man wearing a black shades and a white simple shirt with camel shaded shorts.

"Aren't your clothes more for a bachelor picnic though-"

"Sit in." Jimin stopped her mid-sentence. "I'll pay this time." She opened the gate and cold air hit her hot skin- hoping for the best that she didn't get a headache due to a sudden temperature shift.

"I hope you like them." Jimin handed her the flowers shyly and turned to face the window before revving up the engine. "Typical but I like them." she inhaled the fragrance of the yellow and soft pink roses.

"You can't fully appreciate me can you?" he whispered to himself nonchalantly.

"Thank you so much Park Jimin- I really love them. I swear to god if it wasn't you then maybe I would've never ever even received such precious flowers." sarcasm overflowing her tone, a lip tight smile plastered on her face before she leaned in and pecked him on the cheek.

"Bet- better." Jimin stuttered slightly at her touch.

Hell, what is she doing to me?

"Where do you wanna go?" he asked her as she connected her phone to the car bluetooth. "Wherever you wanna go."

"Uhm lets see, we have plenty of time- I mean you're free for the rest of the day right?" Jimin asked her as she nodded her head. "Yeah some people were having sex on my bed so I guess yes I am."

"The Tara couple?" he laughed at the cheeky ship name he gave to them and at the fact that they really were so desperate for each other. Meanwhile Daehye's eyes widened, "hey that's a good ship name. T for Tae oppa and Ara for Ara."

"It is?"

"Yeah it means star in a language."

"Good indeed." Jimin gave her a boyish grin, "yea so where were we going?"

"Hybe insight and then the beach." he told her about his plan whilst stopping for the red light. "Beach? Bitch?" Daehye teased him as he gave her a glare.

"Sir, I'm immune to that now." she pointed her index finger to him as he continued giving her eyeing with death eyes. "Min Daehye." he said in a seemingly low and deeper voice, evidently messing with her.

"Yes daddy?"

"You don't wanna get railed here do you?"

"No- not at the red light." he gave in and then turned away to his window again, pursing his lips to cover his obvious smile. "Where's your sarcasm and that cold death god aura?"

"It's still here." she lowered her eyelids a little, scoffing at his words while his eyebrows raised a bit at her changing expressions. "I think yes."

After sometime when the fake couple reached the gates of Hybe an unfamiliar feeling settled yet again but she tried to shake it off. Since Jimin was there Daehye didn't have to pay and wondered why. "Employee discount." Jimin said while getting checked at the security gate and his words somewhat gave her a deja vu.

While entering the exhibit the entrance lights which were all the way covered on all the four walls flashed before Jimin ran into the front when all of them dimmed. "BTS!" He pointed his index finger above when the entrance got illuminated again.

"You did this when you came here with Suga oppa too." Daehye clicked her fingers as she walked whilst catching up to him. "Yeah- wait how do you know?"

"You're surrounded by cameras." Daehye maintained a one arm distance between them. "It has it's pros and cons but cons overshadow the pros." Jimin wore the mask whilst entering the exhibit, she rushed towards the big screen displaying the artist's studios without waiting for him. The inhibit was empty, there was literally no one beside the staff workers.

"Why is the place so empty?" she whipped her head to his direction , looking at the 'innovative sound' board. "I don't know myself." he said in a seemingly high voice due to the distance between them.

After spending a few minutes there only Jimin decided to go up to her and look at what she found so fascinating, as he came closer Daehye's eyes widened, "hey the door's open let's go there." She grabbed his arm and dragged him all the way to the big black doors.

"Calm down, are you on cocaine today?" Jimin heavily sighed as the door behind them closed, "I've been here to the insight twice but I never got the actual chance to get here." she said excitedly as the awestruck energy was clearly evident, the screens which were having studio choom's camera quality and the screened floor, her eyes were too much filled with the vivid colors.

Hybe's insight was way too high tech and whenever she returned something was changed for the better. The sudden shift of colors from purplish hues to pinkish tone shifted and that's when Boy with luv started playing in the background, a grin formed on her lips before she turned to Jimin who was observing her every action.

"Watch me." she excitedly said and sang the lyrics, in a high pitched tone. It was crystal clear that she was mimicking Jimin- though low key pissed he decided to shrug it off because it was somewhat cute.

"modeun ge gung-geumhae how's your day?Oh tell me, mwoga neol haengboghage haneunji, Oh text me oh yeah oh yeah, oh yeah oh yeah"

"Your every picture." she pointed to him whilst singing before the music stopped all of sudden, her loose steps blurred into a thin line before she had a questionable look on her face. "The hell? I was mimicking Park Jimin and they stopped it?"

Jimin laughed, his eyes disappearing to form crescent moons. If Daehye pulled another step then he might've fallen on the floor. The cute pink shades of the big screens yet again switched to orange fiery shades. "Oh it's fake love."

"Record me will you?" Jimin handed her his phone as he stood in the center of the room, removing his mask as he waited for the starting line to come. As Daehye stumbled to open the camera on the locked screen she finally managed to start capturing the moment just in time. His moves were like air, they bent and smooth but cutting and sharp like water.

Never knew I would see this in live.

Daehye for sure thought of herself as one of the luckiest personalities alive. As the hook step got closer her excitement level raised, but what came next was unprecedented.

Rather than going with the choreography Jimin turned to his back and twerked. Yes he fucking twerked and that also on the beat and it just matched.

That was the time when Daehye fell on the floor, holding her stomach laughing as if she was choking on a dick. "God fuck." the corners of her eyes were now moist and the phone in her hand was on the ground beside her. "Was it that good?"

Jimin turned around, having a smug look on his face, he briskly walked towards Daehye and sat on the floor as he searched for the video in the gallery. "Fuck this was precise." Jimin laughed before he too started tearing up.

"I dare you to put this on twitter." Daehye finally found a way to control her laughs as she sat up as Jimin rewinded the video again. "Fake love was supposed to be dark Jimin, now whenever this plays I'll only have your twerk at the back of my head."

"I should send this to the guys at least." he wiped the corners of his eyes, the laughs were still anticipated but it was only silence when the shades of the room changed again. Daehye's all goofy aura was gone to a blank state as another certain song played. This time giving her all the possible flashbacks which were now inevitable to not face.

"얼음 같은 ( 붉은 눈빛)
Breaking me in two (나를 흔들지)
왕좌에 앉은 앞에
안에 타는 불길 (타는 불길)"

"Dae bae?" Jimin waved his hand in front of her as she looked up at him with gloomy eyes, "sorry I was- uhm." she stuttered, finding it difficult to put a sentence as the words of the song still echoed.

"Lets' get outta here." Jimin got up and held out his hand for her which she took, thankful that he got what was happening or else she may would've just stayed seated there on the floor listening to the lyrics to no avail.

Jimin intertwined his hand with hers, wearing his mask using his free hand and somehow it distracted her and for some reason she found it cute. "What next?" she asked him as they got closer towards the exit of the exhibit. "We're going to the bitch." he meant to say beach.

"Beach sunset, the sky's gonna look so beau." Daehye smiled. After exiting the premises of the great grand building of hybe a small quarrel about who was gonna pay for the snacks was followed, which was successfully won by Daehye nonetheless. It was almost 6 by the car clock as subsequently the long drive ended. The first half filled with talks of here and there and the next where she slept.

As Jimin proceeded to get out of the car he observed her face's features; not in a creepy but in a very pure intention way. He brushed her hair with his free hand before calling her name. "Daehye." he softly said as the early sunset rays cascaded along the sky, the colors of it a mix of pink and red. "We're here sleepyhead, wake up."

Her eyelids slowly fluttered open before she looked around, Jimin got out of the car and took in the mesmerizing view of the absolutely lone beach, the only sounds of waves echoing. As he opened the gate for her being as gentlemanly as he could a question was followed. "Why is this super crowded beach empty today?"

"Ahh- TXT had to film a song so hybe rented the whole beach." Daehye's soggy eyes were now wide open as her mouth formed a big 'o'.

"The whole what?"

"The whole bitch." Jimin went towards the front of the car, opening the trunk as he took out packed bakery food and a camera. Daehye soon about to speak how his car had the trunk in the front but shut her mouth up, "rich people" she muttered to herself, quite ironic when she herself had rich parents.

"Damn you guys are filthy rich." she said while crossing the road as he followed behind her. "But we don't have trash personalities at least." he said while addressing the group. Yes these guys were humble angels, from free concerts at times to philanthropy, they made sure to give at least a fraction of their net worth to humanity.

After stepping foot on the sand Daehye took a deep breath, the pollution free, the smell of sea- all of it felt so perfect; cherry on the cake? The crowd wasn't bustling. It was just him and her.

Jimin handed her the paper bag and the camera before taking off his leather slippers and running towards the bay to feel the ocean water with bare feet. "Yaah Park Jimin." Daehye yelled from far away before hurrying towards him and stopping at the perfect spot.

"Smile." she said as he turned back and the shutter of the camera went off but after that simultaneous clicks were followed. "You just clicked one picture of mine?"

"Yeah the sky looked more beautiful." she smiled from his shoulder as his eyes scanned the photos. "You're right." Jimin said as he turned around.

Sudden glimpses hitting him out of the blue.

I met Grace here for the first time.

And I decided to take Dae with me to replace those memories, turns out they just keep mixing.

"Jimin." Daehye waved her hand from afar, telling him to come with her. She was standing near to the end of a huge natural rock like wall pointing her finger to a caved structure. "Oh fuck don't go there." Jimin murmured but before he could do anything Daehye rushed in.

Jimin almost tripped due to the slipperiness, he fumbled while wearing his slippers before rushing after Daehye. He in actuality himself had no clue of what was in there, if it was safe or not- just the fact that the general public avoided that area because of some unsorted rumors, judging Daehye who came to Korea only four years back she must've never even heard of em.

That thought made him run faster, as he reached the cave he felt like there would've been a need to turn on his phone's torchlight but it was amusing how it wasn't like that. The evening about to set sun illuminated the passage dimly as the bright creases of light escaped from the peering cuts of the rock structure above.

As he took a right turn he saw Daehye standing in front a few meters away from him. "You can't just run away like that." his tone sounded like he was tired and was at relief at the same time. "This is Oscar worthy." she turned her back to him, as he came out of the darkness he looked around, the sand more cleaner from the beach and the sea rocks littering the few meters after the bay.

"Can you believe that someone actually put up a bench here?" Daehye chuckled as Jimin whipped his head only to see a vintage black painted bench, this all was too breathtaking, the view, the sky, the sunset the small waves hitting the rocks and the cold sand below him, segregated from the world and Daehye- got she was breathtaking to him, her strands of hair coming from her low tied bun, her skin tone matching with the summer dress she wore and everything about her.

"So pretty." Jimin whispered while gazing at her.

"I know right." Daehye faced him, "you're pretty." and then she turned her back to him yet again to hide her obvious blush, hurrying towards the bench and sitting on it while clicking some pictures again.

"Hybe insight was actually so cool, you remember that robot- it said hi to me." Daehye cheekily grinned to distract and lighten the atmosphere.

But what the fuck Daehye what was that 5 year old reference-

"Yeah robots are cool." Jimin sat next to her before closing the gap, "but can they do this?" he pecked on her cheek and her neck, his warm breaths hitting her skin. "Or this?" he plucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. Daehye's heart goes haywire at his delicate touches.

She was used to the harsh Jimin, the one who held her like someone who was yearning and desperate, but this? The one who smiled at her, the one who softly kissed her and the way touches caused such a weird feeling.

The one which made her think of something she didn't want to be in. Love.

"Or this?" he continued before he took her hand and kissed the back of it, his gaze never leaving hers. He then laid his head on her lap and played with her fingers. "You're-" Daehye was about to speak but she found herself confused on how to actually continue. "Why are you doing this?"

"I enjoy it."

"Such a player." she lightly smacked his forehead with her free hand's finger tips before ruffling his hair, "i got something for you." Jimin got off her lap and dug inside his pocket before taking it out of its box knowing if she saw the price then she might never accept it.

It was a delicate pendant with a small black diamond in the shape of a heart. It was so elegant, classy yet simplistic. "I love it....." she touched the chain of the pendant. "But this looks superiorly expensive."

"I know as the independent woman you are you may not accept it but just so you know there's a reason why i got this." Jimin's skin looked amusing as the final rays of sun shone. "What is that?"

"You once texted in a joking way: take my heart, black in color." a confused look formed on her face as she tried to dig in her memory before coming to realization. "Oh that but it was just-"

"A joke but I never stopped thinking about it and I stumbled upon this then." Jimin eyed the pendant resting at the top of his palm, the evident look of bewilderment visible by her expressions. "Okay then." she gave him a smile before he brushed off her hair, but stopped when he was about to proceed.

"Oh well you're already wearing something." he said while looking at her nape. "Yeah, well you take this." she faced him back as she unlocked the chain and unhooked it.

"Park Jimin, you're not the only one stuck with what the other says." She placed the ring pendant in his palm and closed his fist, Jimin's heart warmed- as in legit it was beating so fast that she might even hear it. He took off the chain he was wearing and placed it in his pocket before wearing the pendant Daehye gave to him.

His plan didn't completely fail, he was there to forget about Grace but her thoughts kept running through his head, or how similar Daehye and Grace actually were, they made his emotions lose track in the same way. He did create new memories today- maybe they were better.

"When should we come here?" He put his head on Daehye's shoulder and intertwined his fingers with hers, "when we feel like we need a break?"

"Or maybe when we miss each other." Jimin said as he closed his eyes to better feel the breeze, "I'm sorry Daehye, it's just that how much i try to deny it, I can't actually care or like you less." her expressions changed, god did he just-

"Shrug it off." Jimin smiled at her reply, he was getting used to her. After spending much time together and after a whole lot of star gazing they went back to her house, only to be welcomed by the fresh aroma of italian food, the perks of having a best friend who could cook phenomenally.

"Enjoyed the sex on someone else's bed?" Daehye squinted her eyes while having a small sarcastic smile. "Obviously." and him returning to her sarcasm.

"Oppa, karma is a bitch." she ruffled Taehyung's hair before going to the kitchen to accompany or at least help Ara, meanwhile Jimin just stood there enjoying the small quarrel they were having. Not long after Ara returned from the kitchen with dishes in her hand, soon enough when she sat next to Jimin a few greetings were exchanged.

"I'll just help out Daehye." Jimin got up from his seat and could feel the obvious teasing smirk of Ara from behind his back. Ara continued to see the fake couple from the kitchen and as soon as Jimin reached he back hugged Daehye.

"I refuse to believe that they are not a couple."

"Yeah, Jimin is making it obvious now." Taehyung said the half truth, knowing Jimin more than he knew himself he could just feel something was not passing his vibe check. Because that is what happens, things go too good one day and then the next destruction takes place.

Daehye while bidding a goodbye to Jimin gave her some polaroids of the pics clicked from earlier that day, some of them were of the sky, the ocean and one was of him. "Are there more of them?"

"Yeah but those are mine, and two of them are of us together so I don't think you don't really need them." she handed him a few more polaroids as he took them politely,

"I'll take this and this." he picked up a picture of her and them together, finding nowhere to keep them he had to fit them in his pocket and maintain a straight posture while driving to prevent them from creasing.

After sometime when he laid on his bed thoughts still found a way to occupy the back of his head as he looked at the polaroids, placing one of them by the polaroid frame. Only one question occupying his mind.

Why are you so similar to her?
