You woke up with a jolt and you bumped your head into someone, you peeked an eye open and Undyne sat glaring at you and holding her head. She hissed angrily and then when she noticed your wake her expression melted into a large smile and she ran out of the room. You tried to sit up but your whole body was sore, and your arms and your midsection were wrapped lightly.

You looked around and quickly realized that you were still in the skeletons house, you were lying on the green couch in their living room. You closed your eyes when you got dull throb behind your eyes and you could still faintly feel whatever goo was on your face in that dream. Who was that, and what was he?

"O-oh my gosh [y/n] is awake" you heard a familiar nasally voice and you peeked an eye open. You noticed the yellow lizard in the room and Alphys looks flustered when you looked to her. "How are you feeling?" Alphys waddled over to you with a curious expression and her hand shook as she placed it on your shoulder "You were burned pretty badly, i'm surprised you're not just meat on the floor honestly" She laughed shortly and then looked like she wanted to take back what she said.

You put on a fake look of confusuon and looked around.

"I-Im Alphys, im the king's royal scientist..." she looked to the fish woman behind her "That's Undyne, she's the leader of the royal guard"

"Hell yeah I am!" Undyne smirked and then her emotion went gentler suddenly.

You felt small hands on your eyes and you flinched reflexively, you heard a stifled giggle. The hands were gone and you leaned your head back and saw Frisk smile down at you, they had tears in their eyes.

Undyne placed her hands on her hips and shouted "Pap, Sans,[y/n]'s awake!"

Loud footsteps and a laugh is what followed, you heard the footfalls lead to where Frisk was and Pap popped his head over Frisks and he also had tears in his eyes "[Y/n] you look amazing!" he then looked away "as amazing as you could after getting burnt"

You laughed shortly and you heard quiet footsteps. The shorter skeleton walked into your vision and looked at you nervously. He walked over to you and got on his knees, he grabbed your face and pressed his smile against it and you felt his shoulders shake. Papyrus shuffled and Undyne pulled Alphys to the kitchen.

"I'm so sorry" he whispered "I can't control it sometimes, I should have locked the door... You shouldn't have even stayed here" his voice was shaky and he hugged you ( which was quite painful).

Sans pulled away and Papyrus smiled brightly "Worry not human, I will not be fighting you any time soon. I think what we need to do, is be friends." Papyrus turned to Frisk quickly "because you do not have friends and that is sad of course. Plus you must be craving a friend with similar cooking skills in the art of pasta."

You smiled sadly and Undyne walked back into the room and rushed Pap noogying his head. Something about it was familiar. It brought up memories of the sun, and rides down the highways. You head pounded and you felt tired.
