A shriek erupted from your throat when your foot landed in a painful twist, sending an unbearable ache all the way to your ankle. Your eyes squeezed shut as you waited for your body to take the final blow and meet the ground, however, two strong arms had already secured around your shoulders and under your knees, hauling you up into a familiar chest. The inhaled breath stayed inside your lungs for a good moment as you hadn't realized that someone had saved you from the possible fall.

But the strong manly perfume that reached your senses was familiar and the more the realization hit you the more your face started forming into a scowl.

"Already in trouble the first thing in the morning, m'lady?" The presumptuous voice never failed to give you mixed emotions, it had such an attractive rush but at the same time a cockiness that you couldn't find you to even try stand. Opening your eyes you knew you hadn't been wrong. The blonde boy with mesmerizing emerald eyes and pretty lips twisted into a confident smirk. On his head were two black cat ears and around his waist was a belt tied into a tail, in fact, he always wore an all black, rather tight, outfit.

"You can put me down now, Chat Noir or whatever your name is." Of course, you knew his name, who didn't? The hottest superhero in the city- there wasn't a single person who didn't admire him, but you couldn't give the pompous boy that satisfaction. At least that was what you would tell yourself, a little did you know it was your pride standing in the way. You had always strived to be an independent and reliable girl but staying out of trouble had for some reason never been your forte and the fact that he had to always be there when you were having a hard time somehow really annoyed you. You wanted to take care of yourself and do everything on your own but before you'd know it, his arms would already be steading you on the ground.

"It's Baekhyun for you~" The superhero sing sang in your ear and you immediately palmed his face away from yours.

"Isn't your identity supposed to be a secret anyway?" You grumbled at him as he wouldn't put you down from the embarrassing bridal way he was holding you.

"Hm, you're right, but I don't mind if only you know," Baekhyun flashed you yet another of his absurdly charming winks, "You're my one and only, after all, it's only fair that you know!" There wasn't a single moment where he'd miss the chance to show off the flirty cards he had up his sleeve, and in all honesty, you wanted to hate it, but why did that just make your heart jump?

"Ew, enough of that, I need to go to school. Please put me down." The cat hero sent you a mock pout but still did what you asked him, or more ordered.

"Have a wonderful day M'lady." Chat Noir lastly said and quickly stole a kiss from your cheek and before you were able to process it he had already jumped away, his small silhouette disappearing behind the high buildings.

The blood was forming a fire on your face as you reached with your hand to your cheek with shock, the heartbeat had suddenly quickened and it's loud beats were the only thing you could hear.

"What was that?!"
