personality; Felicity is a quiet, hang in the back of the room and wait for her turn to speak kind of girl. she's very observant and intelligent. it's hard to get her to come out of her shell, but she can be very outgoing and friendly once you're close to her. unfortunately, her emotions can change on the dime and she's very hard to read.

backstory;
- childhood and teenage years; she lived in a small town for most of her life, with her parents and her three brothers. she never had a hard time making friends, but her family was quite religious and she struggled a lot to come to terms with who she is.
- early adulthood; she left her small town behind in favour of following her oldest brother's footsteps and joining the army right out of high school. unfortunately he was killed in action while she was still in training. Felicity completed her training and went on three tours in foreign countries where she experienced active combat. after this she experienced a brutal attack and sexual assault while on leave, which left her unable to return to active duty and thus she was medically discharged.
- adult life; after her discharge, Felicity struggled with post-traumatic-stress-disorder and she moved around a lot. she ended up working a few contract jobs in virginia, where she ended up settling down and opening a small cafe.
- the bau; she met the bau somewhere in s9 (not episode-specific) after being asked to consult by an old army buddy on a case of theirs that was similar to her own experience. she stayed in touch with a few members, bonding with them over shared trauma and even returning to consult a few more times.
