Sophia

Last time I couldn't understand Hyungwon. I could say that he has maintained a safe distance between me and he has become more wary around me. What could have possibly happened that afternoon?

Whatever it is he realized, I hope it has nothing to do with me or with us...

Today Hyungwon and I met up on the playground.

"Jagi, we have a much lighter schedule on our hands now!" Hyungwon smiled.

I could see him relieved that all the stress in school is lessening.

"Oh! Keurae. Are you happy huh? Is my oppa happy?" I pinched his cheeks. Such a cutie.

"So... You wanna grab some ice cream?" He seemed to be offering me.

"Why not? I wanna eat somewhere though.."  I pouted.

"Oh... Sure, I'll take you to a restaurant!" He agreed.

"Gomawo." I said.

"Let's have a date there." He suddenly whispered into my ear.

So that was what he wanted? A date with me. I hit his arm and he smiled cutely at me.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes smiling.

Somehow, my fears about last time vanished. He was acting cute and sweet to me like usual so maybe he just changed because of stress?? Well, it seems to me that were happy and fine now.

Hyungwon

I got over that incident and become more aware of myself. I never told her about what happened. I'm afraid I might scare her because of what I almost did.

I decided to take Sophia to eat out so we could somehow have a small date again. She wanted to eat pizza so I took her to a food court which serves a lot more food as well.

"Wah, pizza is here." She said.

The waiter came and placed the pizza and iced tea she ordered.
She started eating really well and I felt full just looking at her.

"Delicious is it?" I said.

"Yes. How did you know this place serves good pizza?" She asked.

"Well.. I did some research..." I confessed.

"Why would you?" she giggled.

"To see where I could take you whenever you're hungry of course." I said.

"You're so thoughtful. Thank you!" She smiled and went back to eating.

I looked at her and afterwards felt like I should eat too.

"Aigoo...." I sighed as I slowly took out a pack of juice with blood inside.

"Ohhhh.. you prepared huh?" She said.

"Well.. I guess so." I raised an eyebrow and started sipping happily.

"I have a question." She said.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Why do you care so much about your grades and school unlike Wonho and his friends? You're vampire right?" She asked.

"Yeah.. and since I'm vampire I'll be living a thousand more years unless someone kills me. So its good to bring some knowledge with me as I live here in the world. I also want an accomplishment even just in school. I want to do good." I answered.

"Ohh.. so thats why." She said and we kept eating.

Sophia

I was happy for this day since Hyungwon and I were able to go out together freely once again. This day has been well.

We took transportation and went back home. We both walked as he accompanied me back home.

"How was today?" He asked.

"I'm full and I enjoyed it." I said.

"Me too." He smiled.

"Hyungwon-ah, thank you for never leaving me or getting tired of me." I said.

"Why are you suddenly thanking me?" He asked surprised.

"I felt like it. Because I also suddenly thought about you and everything you've done for me." I said and he laughed shyly.

We stopped walking when we were already outside my house.
Hyungwon and I looked at each other and he cupped my face, smiling.

"Go. Take care always." He smiled.

I smiled back to him and suddenly tiptoed to kiss his cheek.

He looked at me surprised but eventually he giggled.

"Aishhh, jagiii!" He said as if he was having a heart attack.

He suddenly looked around the neighborhood and when he saw it was clear, he one by one attacked me with kisses on my cheeks.

"Ya! Ya! Hyungwon-ahhh!!" I couldn't stop laughing.

"Saranghae!" He said in between every kiss he gave me.

Suddenly, he stole a quick kiss from my lips.

I stood there looking dumbfounded at what he did.
He stole a kiss from my lips! Aishh..

"Annyeong! Saranghae!!" He suddenly ran away from me.

"Mwoyaa..." I thought.

I went in the house and looked for my dad.

"Appa! I'm home!" I said.

"Oh.. Hi Sophie, how are you?" he asked.

"Fine. What are you looking at?" I asked.

"Well you see I've earned some money from my job here already. I was thinking if we could move back to the city." He said.

"Mwo? But why?" I asked because I didn't want to leave this place.

"It's hard for me to adapt in a small place like this. I think we should go back and live a successful life once again. The city was better and had more opportunities for the both of us." He stated.

"Appa, you don't need to." I said.

"But look. You only have one close friend here. That Hyungwon guy and I don't seem to like that. After you finish your junior year here, were going back to Seoul." He said.

I couldn't fight back because he said all what he thought he knew. But he didn't know that I didn't want to leave because of Hyungwon. My heart and mind are debating right now.

I went up my room and thought about it. Exams are left then  school will be over. Then, Ill be leaving.

I'm not ready.

Hyungwon

Today was our 1st exam day and I'm nervous but quite confident as well since Sophia and I have been studying really well.

Our teacher suddenly arrived in our classroom already while we were still busy reviewing.

"Okay. Go back to your seats and keep everything. We will begin with the last quarter exams in a few moments."

Sophia tapped my shoulder quickly.

"Fighting to the both of us! Let's get a good grade." She cheered me up.

"Thanks same to you." I said and she went back to her seat.

Hyungwon

Exam week is finally done and it turned out to be easy. Nothing was too hard for me and I'm glad it's also because of Sophia's help to me. Im finally free and I'm with studying too much!

The bell rang and everyone rejoiced.

"SUMMER TIME!! SCHOOL IS OVER!" My classmates jumped.

I went over to Sophia and hugged her tight.

"It's the last day of school!" I hugged her.

Sophia

This was the last set of exams I'm going to take here... I couldn't change my dad's mind. My heart felt sad knowing this was the last time I'm going to this school.

Hyungwon suddenly went over to hug me tight.

"It's the last day of school!" He said excitedly.

I could see him really happy but deep inside I wasn't.

He broke the hug and looked at me smiling widely. Suddenly, his smile turned into a frown.

"Why? Are you okay?" He worried.

"Yeah. Of course. I just.. I just found the last set of exams hard." I lied.

"Ohhh.. don't take it hard on yourself." He said and kissed my forehead.

We fixed our things and then Hyungwon and I went out the classroom together to finally go home.

On the way out, we met Wonho.

"Sophia..." He smiled.

"Annyeong, Wonho. It's the last day of school." I said.

"Yeah.. I know. Well.... this school year was awesome for me eversince you came here." He said.

I just gave him a smile.

"Ill still see you around. I know where you live. Bye." He winked at me and left us.

......

Hyungwon and I went to the playground we always go to again. We sat down on the swings as usual.

"Wahh.. that schoolyear went by fast. Thank you for being a part of my junior years. It was the best year ever. Saranghae." He said.

"Nado." I smiled.

I took a moment to gather up courage.

"Hyungwon-ah.. I have something to confess." I said.

He felt that it was serious so he started to feel alarmed.

"What is it about?" He asked slowly.

"The truth is... I'm leaving Paju and I'm going back to Seoul now that this school year is over."

"What? You mean... you're leaving me?" He said.

I looked down and kept silent.

"What.. don't be like this. But why? Sophia! Don't leave." He pleaded me.

"I didn't want to! I want to stay here. I love you so much Hyungwon-ah! I don't want to go!" I said as well.

We pulled each other into a hug as I cried on his shoulders. It has only been a few months since Hyungwon and I were together. I don't want us to separate.

"I, I'll plead dad. Don't worry. I won't go anywhere." I assured him.

I felt him hug me tighter.
