Ring ring.. Ring ring...

"Sigh."

I dialed his number again.

Ring ring.. Ring ring...

"Hyungwon-ah, please pick up." I said to myself as I grew impatient.

It has been days since that incident in his house happened and he never talked to me again. He doesn't pick up on my calls and I don't see him around my neighborhood anymore.

I don't get him. I already accept him as who he is but why did he still hide from me just because of that night? Everyday I call and text him. I even tried going into his house once. But still, there were no signs of him.

I browsed through my contacts and found Wonho's number. He's vampire too so maybe he knows.

"What?" he picked up.

"Hi..." I greeted him.

"What is it?" he asked.

"Umm.. Can I ask? Do you know what happened to Hyungwon?" I asked.

"Why? What about him? He's your boyfriend, shouldn't you be the one to know?" he asked.

"I know but something happened before he never made his presence felt to me again." I said.

"Mm? Like what happened?" He asked.

"That night, I went to Hyungwon's house. I tried to cook but I cut myself and suddenly, Hyungwon unconciously turned vampire when he saw my finger which was cut. He got mad at me and began yelling at me to get out of his house immediately. Since then, we never talked to each other." I told him.

"Sigh. That's bad then." He said.

"What? What, why?" I asked.

"Dunno. I can't really help you with that but all I can say is good luck with your relationship." He said.

"Oh... thanks.?" I said.

"I hope everything's gonna be alright for you two." He wished us.

"Yes. I hope so too. Thanks Wonho, and.. bye!" I said and hung up.

It has been a week but I tried not to mind Hyungwon for a while. I tried to think that he was out hunting and that he wasn't exactly ignoring me.

I made myself lunch and began eating.

Ring ring...

I was eating when my phone suddenly rang.

I got surprised and saw that my phone was actually ringing! Hyungwon was calling me!

I picked up fast because I wanted to know what happened to him.

"Hello? Hyungwon-ah---" I was about to start speaking.

"5pm. Playground. Meet me there." He cut me off.

"Hello? Hyungwon---" I wanted to talk again.

"I won't entertain questions for awhile. But if you want to see me, meet me later with the place and time I gave you." He said coldly.

".... arasseo.." I said and he immediately hung up on me.

I got to the playground we always went to exactly at 5pm and I already saw him standing up, his back facing me.

I went closer to him and he sensed me so he turned to face me. I was so happy that I stared at him for awhile.

"....Hyungwon-ah, where have you been? Did you see the messages and calls I left you? I worried about you so bad. I miss you. You have alot of explaining to do!" I said tearing up.

I was so happy to see him again.

"You're so bad. How could you make me worry." I hit his arm.

"I told you I accept you! I told you that I love you okay? Please trust me." I started crying.

I was crying but he still stood infront of me with a cold expression. He wasn't saying anything.

I wiped my tears and kept quiet. Now it was his turn to speak.

"Ya." He called me.

"....Let's break up." He said it lightly.

I couldn't believe what he said. How could he?

"Mwo?" I asked.

"Didn't you hear me? I said I wanted to break up with you!" He raised his voice.

"Wae?! I don't understand you!" I complained and started crying again.

I saw him try to breathe before snapping at me again.

"Go! Live your life far away from me! Please.... please leave me! We just cannot be together.. I, I can't be with you." He started to grow weaker and he teared up. His voice was trembling and the cold image he had was wearing off.

"Oh... I get this.. Why do you even doubt this relationship? Youre vampire, I'm human. So what? I love you! You also do love me right?" I asked.

Hyungwon looked up because tears were already flowing from his eyes. He took a moment to breathe before speaking to me again.

"Go back to Seoul. Your life is going to be better there without me." He said weakly.

"Sirheo!!" I said.

"Go! Please... do it for me.." He pleaded.

"I don't want to leave you. Stop pushing me away!" I cried.

"Stop thinking that we can do this. You're just fooling yourself. We're like the rest. Let's break up." He said firmly.

It suddenly started raining and it was pouring on us. We were soaked and wet.

I fell down to the ground and cried.

Hyungwon stood and looked at me as tears fell from his eyes.

I slowly tried to get back up once again and face him.

"How could you be this mean to me? I don't understand you.." I spoke slowly as he looked at me blankly.

I slapped Hyungwon hard.

"Fine. Let's break up." I said and walked away leaving him to go back home.

I hate you Chae Hyungwon....
