Sophia

My first batch of classes were done so it was break time for us. I actually didn't know where to go know but I went with the flow and just followed other students.

I was walking behind the majority when someone grabbed my hand and pulled me.

"Ya. Come with me. Let's eat together." Hyungwon said.

So it was Hyungwon who pulled me.
I followed him as we made our way to the canteen.

"Do you have your snacks? It's just recess. Lunch will be later." he asked.

"Yes I do." I said.

"So.... Let's eat?" he asked.

I started eating and there was an awkward silence between us two. I tried to break it because I couldn't eat well if it's like this.

"Why aren't you eating? Why are you just drinking juice with an empty stomach?" I asked.

Hyungwon

I'm vampire so yeah I don't eat their food. I either don't eat or do my drinking in public but she might get curious why I'm not eating. It's gonna be awkward if I'll just watch her eating alone.

Good thing this blood I brought is packed in a juice carton with a colored straw. That way she won't see that it is blood I'm sipping. (Lol it's kinda Orange Marmalade but what can I do? Hyungwon needs to survive school XD)

"I don't like eating. I don't eat much. I drink healthy juices instead." I said.

"Ohhh! That's why your temperature is cold! You're pale! And your body is so weak." she said.

Seriously? Weak? I fight off monsters for you and protect you every night.

"I do my eating at home. I somehow couldn't manage to have an appetite here." I said.

Sophia

We were done with recess earlier than other students so we had 15 minutes left. We spent it on walking around the hallways.

"Hey, Sophia." Hyungwon said.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Let's be friends. Let's hang out together recess and lunch always." he said.

"Umm.. okay? But what if I get some new friends?" I asked.

He suddenly became quiet so we just kept walking around the campus.

"It's better if you go with me but if you want other friends then whatever." he said in a weak voice but still an expressionless face.

I kept quiet and suddenly we passed through the restroom near our classroom.
"Wait, you go ahead I'm just gonna go to the restroom." I told him and he went in the classroom leaving me.

Hyungwon

I went in the classroom and sat down my seat. I faced the window and began to think stuff like I usually do when I'm alone.

Kim Sophia, if you go with others I'm back to being a loner. But just know that I'll always be following you around, keeping an eye on you to ensure your safety......

Sophia

I went out the restroom and saw six boys waiting for me. I was stopped on my way out by a blondie. The rest were smirking at me.

I was getting scared at what they might do to me. What if I'll get bullied? Oh no, what if these guys are pervs?

Despite that I kept an annoyed glaring face at them. Suddenly, a guy who seemed to be their leader was called to check me.

"Hey, Wonho! This is her!" red head said. I knew he was Jooheon and he was one of those who glared at me earlier.

Wonho came out and went infront of me. He suddenly made soft delicate strokes to my arm and he began to lean forward to my neck and smelled me!

What a perv indeed! I slapped him hard on his face and pushed him away but he laughed at me.

"So this is her? Interesting." he said to his members while still looking seductively at me.

"Hyungwon is getting too worked up on you. Well, you're so perfect. I might as well wanna get my taste on you."

"Pervert!" I yelled at him and embarrassed him at the hallway.

I pushed him away again and made my way to our classroom feeling traumatized.

I felt harassed by him and his group that I wanted to cry. I became scared and cold for a moment.

I thought about Wonho's words. Hyungwon was getting too worked up on me?
What is that supposed to mean? Is Hyungwon one of them or what?
Why did he even want to be close to me?

Hyungwon

I saw Sophia rushing back to her seat with a frown and a look on her face as if something wrong just happened.

Is there something wrong? What could have possibly happened?

Lunch time, Sophia did not even look at me or talk to me. She went with our other classmates leaving me behind. Is she avoiding me?

Sigh. Oh well then.

I felt hurt but I tried to remain calm despite what she's doing.
At dismissal she just went ahead without anything more.

I was starting to get worried of what could have possibly happened after she went to the restroom. But anyways, I tried not to care because I'm just here for her because she's new in Paju and doesn't know about vampires attacking the place. Protecting her as one of the humans living is solely my duty. I shouldn't interfere with her personal affairs.
