I'm gonna go see what happened to star sanses and Nightmare's edgy gang! I'm lazy for explaining their fight so I'll just explain what happened after.

Author's POV

with the star sanses....

"Its been 2 weeks and there's no trace of them" Ink said annoyed as he place his broomie on the table. Dream looks at him guilty as he fiddle with his fingers nervously. Blueberry was back in his AU trying to recover from his injuries. The fight was hectic and they were sure they were gonna win.

There was just one little problem.

"I'm sorry Ink, our plan was pretty great too and it failed because of me" Dream said and Ink sight. He smile lightly as he place his hand over Dream's shoulder.

"Its okay Dream, don't blame yourself. I know its hard for you to kill your brother but you know what he did. He killed countless people, destroyed AUs, and he's not even hesitating to kill you! Yet you're so kind to him. I don't blame you, its okay, we tried our best. I also had a fault you know. I kind of got distracted and Error was able to escape with others." Ink laugh and Dream smiled. He then frowned afterwards as he held his staff.

One arrow could've killed Nightmare completely. He hesitated, he couldn't aim the last one at his brother. He knew it was the end for Nightmare. Nightmare was able to escape because he hesitated. He knew it was time for him to move on because the same Nightmare he knew back then wasn't him anymore. He still blames himself to this day and that's why he feels guilty for everything.

A part of him wants Nightmare to disappear so he wouldn't fail as a protector. A big part of him didn't want Nightmare to die at all. Despite Nightmare bringing him troubles and probably almost killed him a lot of times. He still loves his brother, and a part of him still believes Nightmare can change. He sight as he grasp his staff tightly.

"As if that would ever happen." Dream whispered as he felt yellow tears falling through his eyesockets. Ink was contemplating and trying to think of another plan so he didn't notice Dream. Dream wipe away his tears and stood up.

"Let's continue to search. We won't know if Nightmare is still alive. He was very injured that day and he was almost turning to dust." Ink said and Dream nodded.

"What if someone saved him?? The arrows are very hard to remove for Nightmare. He couldn't even touch it and I'm sure I hit 3 at him." Dream mutter and a question mark appear at Ink's eye socket.

"I doubt anyone would ever come near him. He could be alive though, he might've went back to their base. Which we still don't know where they are hiding but we'll find it soon. We really did a number on them." Ink sight and took his broomie.

"Actually I... I kind of hesitated too. I didn't want Error to disappear because my life wouldn't be so fun without him." Ink murmur and Dream look rather surprise. He knew Ink and Error are somehow "friends" for some reasons. He was glad though, he wasn't the only one feeling that way.

"Yeah... I'm sorry. I'm glad a lot of Sans was willing to help us though. We couldn't defeat the bad sanses without their help." Dream smiled and Ink made a grin.

[I'm just gonna explain their plan XD.]

Their plan went without a hitch. Ink and Dream manage to get information to where they would destroy next. They were lucky because the bad sanses split up into multiple AUs. It was hard but they manage to tie the murder trio first. Dust, Killer, and Horror went into their trap. They weren't even to react when the star sanses already knock them out. The other sanses who help was pretty glad they were baited.

The murder trio had a big disadvantage because they were outnumbered. Sure, they were strong but taking on a bunch of sans is hard. They were also immobilized which made it harder for them to fight back.
The star sanses handled the members by knocking them out first and leaving Nightmare and Error last.

They were lucky because one of NM member scoundrel sans had something to take care at his AU.  So NM's team was lacking one which made their job easier. Cross was going on a solo mission to steal something in a certain AU. He was outnumbered once again because he didn't expect the star sanses to detect him fast.

Dust, Killer, and Horror was suppose to destroy an AU so the three of them was together. Cross only had to steal and that's why he is a alone. Cross almost manage to escape but the sanses wouldn't allow that. So once again they manage to capture all of the members. All that was left was Error and Nightmare.

Error was a tough skeleton but Ink and him have the same strength. Ink won a lot of times but Error also won a lot of times. So it was hard to determine who's stronger. Error has strings that can control sanses too which made the situation hard. The star sanses decided to use the memembers as hostage.

That was the thing that made it hard for Error. He can escape anytime he want but not without his friends. He might've seen them as abomination and glitches before. Now he treasures them as his friends for they made him not lonely. Nightmare was busy doing whatever he was doing so he was unaware of the situation.

He just had a feeling that his members was in danger. Long story short, he fought with the sanses. Giving time for Error to take the members and escape. What about him? He knew he can handle himself. Dream witnessing that his brother was actually saving his friends made him hesitate to kill him. Nightmare was able to escape when Dream was hesitating.

[Uhhh do you get it?? I don't 😂]

With the bad sanses....

"So what's the hold up with Nightmare?" Error ask with his glitchy voice. Error was relieve that Nightmare was able to survive despite them being in a big disadvantage. Killer sight as he lay on their sofa comfortably. Dust lean against the wall and gestured he doesn't know.

Error was laying on the bed, wrap around with bandages. His ribs had cracks and he was bleeding. This guy doesn't even care about his aching body and pretend like everything's normal.

"Ugh Error don't move too much. You're still injured, don't be stubborn" Horror complained who was their healer for some reasons... Cross had look of confusion who was also leaning comfortably in their couch.

"Tch... I had worst injuries than this. Always so dramatic." Error rolled his eyes and Horror glared at him.

"Shut the hell up and just stick your glitchy ass in the bed." Horror replied. Error sight and just went back into the bed.

"Ok cracked eggshell" Error cross his arms and just lean back into the bed comfortably. Horror calm himself and smile at Error. He doesn't want to get pissed off before he'll accidentally grab his axe and throw it against Error's face.

Horror, Dust, Killer, and Cross only had small wounds and injuries so they recovered fast. They felt responsible for everything so they tried their best healing Error.

"So why didn't he go with you guys?? And you are telling me he was fine as heck?? Are you sure you're talking about the same Nightmare? That octopus was so damn injured" Cross raise a brow at Dust and Killer.

"We don't know, okay?! He just told us he had "business" to do." Dust said with annoyance. Error had his resting bitch face and decided to just sleep his ass.

"Whatever. I don't care what that octopus does anyways." Error mumbled and Killer snorted.

"You were the most worried though." Killer tease and yellow tint spread around Error.

"W-what?!" Error glared at them and tried to cover his blush in embarrassment.

"Yeah Error, admit it! You care about us~" Dust said teasingly and Error rolled his eyes once again.

"Is this how you treat me after I saved your asses?. I should've left you sons of bitches with the star sanses." Error said with a salty tone. They laugh at his cussing and annoyed face.

"Aww for real though, you know we care about you too! So just listen to Horror and don't leave your bed!" Killer smiled and Error made a little smile.

"Fine, you guys better owe me a stash of chocolate!" Error glare at them before deciding to finally sleep and rest.

"Kay' kay' we'll get your favorite too!" Horror said as he tuck Error in his bed like a child. Dust and Killer laugh while Cross was just so done with them.

"Scoundrel is coming back tomorrow. He'll probably be pretty surprise to see us so beat up. " Cross mumble.

"Really? That guy should've just enjoyed his time with his girlfriend." Dust said and Killer laugh.

"You're just bitter cause we are single as fuck!" Killer tease and Cross face palmed. Dust rolled his eyes and threw a small knife at killer. Killer was able to avoid it and the small knife pierced into their sofa.

"Oops you missed!" Killer giggle and Dust sight. He decided he didn't wanna deal with Killer's bs.

"Shut up Killer, how the hell do you expect us to have girlfriends?! The three of us don't even have an AU! Let alone a fucking girlfriend." Cross said and Killer continued to laugh.

"Yeah you're totally right about that." Killer's face turn into a poker expression.

"Dang you didn't have to bring up the AUs." Dust snorted and Cross just rolled his eyes.

Y/N's POV

I open my eyes groggily and tried to remember what happened last night. Right.... I panicked. This is the second time that happened and its all because of a skeleton. I sight as I stood up and tried to find Nightmare.

He seems to be sleeping on my couch and well... I guess I'll go eat breakfast. I kinda panicked last night cause I thought he left me. I was just acting childish or maybe I just couldn't control my emotions. I'll explain it to him later on.

-Timeskip-

After eating breakfast and doing my morning routine like taking a bath. I went back into my room since I don't have training for today. I wore my usual dress and tie my hair into a ponytail.

"Nightmare??" I open the door slowly as I brought the tea in the table. All I want to do is relax and spend time with my octopus. He didn't seem to hear me since he was in the balcony.

I approach him slowly and stood beside him. I don't particularly see anything eye catching in my garden. The only view in my garden was the forest and my garden that was ruined by Nightmare last² week.

Nightmare didn't seem to notice my presence and continued to overthink about something. I raise a brow as I slow reach out my hand to poke his boney cheeks. I giggle when he finally shot me a little glare.

"What's wrong Nighty?" I ask and he sight heavily. What kind of heavy problem is bothering this guy? He's emitting negativity again.

"Nothing. Just looking at the garden where we first met." He mumble lowly and I make a smile.

"Oh really? I think it was rather a dramatic meeting. I mean who would've thought I'd see a skeleton injured in my garden." I laugh and he smile a little.

"Well meeting you was certainly fun and I enjoy being with you." He said and gaze at me while smiling. My cheeks start to heat up and I avoid his gaze because its too much for me too handle. His smile might be kind of creepy for other but I find it very cute.
"I'm actually glad that I met you. Even though we knew each other for a short time but I think I'm... kinda attach to you now." I said shyly and his expression look surprise. His reaction was rather sad and he kind of seems to be hesitating. I raise a brow once again and pout.

"What's wrong? You seem like you wanna tell me something... " I ask and he lower his head.

"It's nothing..." He mutter and I start to get worried by the second.

"Alright, would you like to join me drink tea? I'd  like to talk to you about last night." I smile at him as my hand reach out to place it on his shoulders.
He nodded and we both sat on the couch. I hold my cup and sip tea from time to time.

"Yeah... about last night." I clear my throat and made a small smile. Nighty look at me with curiosity as I slowly scoot closer beside him.

"You mean when you were crying and looked like you were about to go on a killing spree??" Nightmare said jokingly and I roll my eyes.

"No I wasn't gonna! It's not some kind of trauma neither do I have some murderous past. It was the second time it happened actually... I kind of lost track of my emotions sometimes. Does that make sense?? I just felt emotionally stress that's all." I explain and Nightmare raise a brow.

"Why would you be emotionally stress? What happened last time you became like that?. I mean your eyes were lit up and you seems to have magic flowing outside your body. Seriously this fucking AU is weird." Nightmare mutter and seem to have said weird things.

"AU?? And what is fucking??" I ask and he almost spit out his tea. He smiles at me with that suspicious smile he usually wear.

"Ah right... that word doesn't exist in this old ass era. Nothing to worry about Y/N! Its better for you not to know anything about any of this and continue to stay innocent." Nightmare said and I get more suspicious. Seriously what's with this guy...

"What?? You won't tell me cause I'm a princess and all??" I playfully glare at him and he laughs.

"Yes princess shouldn't learn about any of those." He tease and I rolled my eyes.

"Fine. I'll just answer your question earlier. The first time it happened was when I was a child. It triggered when I was betrayed by my friend. It was just me being immature back then but seriously I still hate that guy." I whine and lean place back my cup on the table.

"Y/N being betrayed and you getting mad about it is not immature. Anyone would feel that way if that happens to them." Nightmare said and I almost got surprise with his reply.

"Wow words of wisdom from Nighty." I giggle and he just look at me with a poker expression.

"Alright jokes aside, you're totally right. Anyone would get mad when they're being bullied by their friend. It wasn't much but he was annoying! Ugh why did I even have him as my friend! We were playing at his house. My father didn't mind since he was son of duke, so I was kind of his play date. His other friends was there and they just gang up on me like they own the place. They even dared mess with the king's daughter!" I complain and Nightmare seems to be lost on what I was talking about.

"Are you with me?? Haha I'll just make the story simple as possible" He nodded and I laugh.

"So they tried to hurt me and I felt so betrayed and hurt. I trusted that guy and he did that to me? His parents was completely unaware and maids. He was ganging up on me with those other noble boys. I got angry after that betrayal and that thing occur. My soul starts to get chain by my magic and I'll get out of control. My mana consumption and magic was overflowing. I almost destroyed their house and almost everyone got injured." I explain and he smiles in satisfaction.

"At least those bullies got what they deserved." He said and I started laughing.

"You're right. Growing up and realizing it wasn't really my fault. I used to feel guilty as a child and I can't even apologize enough. It didn't even matter whether I blasted their house or they got injured. I'm still a royal bloodline and the duke's are still at fault. Kind of sad right? I broke their house and their children. Yet it wouldn't matter cause I had a higher social ranking." I made a small smile as I lean back on the couch comfortably.

"I feel sorry for their parents. I mean not only was the kids involved, so was their families. Their statuses are removed and they are going to be a commoner. I mean hey! Commoner is not so bad and I'd rather be that instead. Let's go back to the topic, I talk way too much." I giggle and Nightmare relaxed his body on the couch.

"Don't worry take your time." He said and I get suspicious once again. He's acting kinder than the usual. He'd usually ignore what I'd ramble out on him. He'd sometimes response "Just get straight to the point Y/N" or insert a few insults here and there.

I honestly don't feel insulted or annoyed with his attitude. It just made me like him more, he was just being himself. He doesn't mean what he says either way, and he can be kind at certain times.

"I kind of injured that guy a little too much so I felt very guilty before. I kind of broke his leg which is a little too much. When I lose control of my emotions, I lose control of myself and my magic. I'm kind of dangerous when that happens but don't worry it only happened once. I mean— except last night because I didn't totally lose control. You saved me after all!" I smile and he raise a brow.

"I don't think I particularly did anything. I just calmed you down and made the pain stop." My eyes widen at his reply. Stop the pain and sadness? He can do that?

"What do you mean you didn't do anything? You literally saved me from going berserk." I look at him with a sarcastic expression. He just laughs lightly and pat my head. His boney hand reach my head just to ruin my hair.

"My hair! You little skeleton." I glare at him and poke his cheeks a few times. He never learns his lesson that I am great at annoying people. We laugh and it felt like time has passed by so fast.

"Geez its already afternoon and we miss lunch again." I smile as I look at a peaceful Nightmare. He seems to be relaxed unlike earlier when he look like he was carrying a heavy burden.

"Go eat, Y/N. We can talk again after you go back." He said which sounded more like an order to me. I laugh as I nod my head and left the room.

Author's POV

Nightmare sight as Y/N left the room. He starts to remember that he wasn't suppose to enjoy his time that much. He completely forgot what he needed to tell Y/N. He knows that he must go back to his members because they need him. He couldn't just leave the girl without saying goodbye.

"Damn it just say it you idiot." Nightmare tried to say the words he wanted to say but it was very hard for him. All he needed to do was say "I'm leaving" and it was totally easier said than done.

'Staying longer would just make it harder for me to leave.' He sight and prepared his self to tell Y/N the truth.
He wanted to explain everything to Y/N. About where he came from, what he did, and why she should just forget about him.
