The King bids for us to rise and he smiles, that smile is so much like mine, I have his silvery hair and serene expression. "My name is Thone," he says. "Your mother Klartia is currently busy with celebrations. The Oracle of this land had a precognition that you would arrive today, so she is busy arranging a party for you." I smile. A party for me? I've never even had a birthday party, but a party introducing me as the daughter of King Thone and Queen Klartia to the people of this land, isn't that a bit much? She nods and motions to me and we walk out of the gilded doors. She turns left to a door with a plaque embossed with the word Kalyssa in silver, and I push open the door. I gasp. The carpet is shimmery gold, the walls silver, a chandelier made of crystal. The bed is plush and the top sheet is made of raven feathers. I immediately jump on the bed. "I could get used to this," I sigh, staring at the silver ceiling with gold pinpricks obviously meant to be the stars. My wings automatically curl around me and I stare at them, the chandelier light reflecting off the metallic colors. Suddenly, we hear a scream from down the hall, and everything goes pitch black. Suddenly, an ear piercing voice screams, "A SHADOWFORM!!!!"
