Chapter 1

I yawn, pulling on my pajamas. I feel a random prickle of discomfort as my back aches from the shirt but I ignore it and collapse on my bed and cry out in pain. Why did that hurt so much??? Anyway, I shift on my side and curl my arm next to my face like I always do, resting my chin on the heel of my palm. I am already drifting into the haze of sleep as I hear something rip and my back aches violently.
