It's been a while since I've felt this happy.

Erina looked to Chou and figured the purple-haired girl wouldn't want to be bothered,
so she decided to go to the snack bar alone.

While telling the person in the snack bar her order,
she glanced to the side and noticed a guy that kind of looked familiar.

He was in a daze, staring at something,
almost dreamily with his head resting on one hand.

When Erina looked to the direction he was supposedly staring at,
he seemed to be staring at Chou.

Is he...checking her out?

Erina shuddered at the thought
since Chou already had someone she liked.

As she took the food that she ordered and thanked the employee,
she didn't break her stare from the guy.

Great, the only vacant table left is the table next to this creep.

Erina rolled her eyes
and figured she'd use this opportunity to warn the guy to back off...
if he had any bad intentions, at least.

He was tall, about 6'1",
tan, with large almond eyes that looked like they held a storm within them.
His arched brows were knit together, as if in deep thought.

"You checking out my friend, or something?"

A voice from beside him called,
and he turned to see a girl with platinum blonde hair
and a complexion slightly darker than his.

"Erina-san?"

He said in a calm, deep voice that shook Erina for a moment,
but she quickly recovered.

"So you do know who we are."

Erina grinned.

"Of course I do.
And, you? Friends with Chou-san?
I thought you guys were mortal enemies."

The guy said, as if finding their friendship humorous.
Behind his serious tone, Erina could sense a bit of playfulness.

Who is this guy...

Erina thought,
annoyed that she couldn't read him.
