with the dreading thought of a loveless marriage looming over her head, dove finds solace in a rather unlikely ally ━ apollo damora, one of her childhood friends, who is everything she is not ━ reckless, daring, sarcastic, and brave.
offering his assistance by helping her to find her one true love, dove is starting to realize that the person who is meant for her might be right beside her ━ but sadly, it seems as if their fates are already decided.

hello, lovelies!!
welcome to my newest book, set in my hunger games universe, which is called the war of hearts series!!
i wanted to publish this story for quite some time ━ originally, i planned to publish it in january ( because the first draft was full of winter vibes ) ━ but after watching the teaser for the third season of bridgerton ( which this story is inspired by ) i replotted it & now it's full of spring vibes and bridgerton themed elements!! ( also, i'm happy that i waited because taylor swift wrote but daddy i love him exclusively for this story!! )
the childhood friends to lovers is one of my favourite tropes ━ so, in honour of the third season of bridgerton ( which is absolutely stunning so far ) this book is now published in may!!
dove and apollo are going to be very different characters. dove could be seen as a bit of an oddball in society's eyes ━ i obviously created her before watching the third season of bridgerton, but thinking about it, she resembles francesca quite a lot, as she rather spends time on her own & doesn't like being the center of attention at all.
it is also worth mentioning that while spectra hauntington price and her gossip magazine might resemble lady whistledown & lady whistledown's society papers, the character was created before i even started watching bridgerton for the first time ━ she was originally inspired by spectra vondergeist from monster high who happens to run a gossip column as well!!
this book is going to include lots of heartbreak, so you better grab some tissues ━ but without spoiling too much, i also love happy endings, so there's no need to despair!!
most characters from this story are part of my hunger games universe ( the war of hearts series ) so there might be slight spoilers for certain events from other books.
this book is mostly set in spring ( but it actually starts in winter ) before the seventy third hunger games.
this story is inspired by the tv show bridgerton, so parallels can occur. last but not least, english is not my first language, so i don't know if there are any mistakes.
