A few days later we see everyone sitting down for lunch.

Rose was animatedly talking to Juleka in her usual peppy way and Juleka smiled back at her.

Rose then felt a ring in her pocket and she brought out her phone. Smiling she unlocked it and glanced at the message she got. Her eyes widened and she reread it, hoping against hope she had read it incorrectly.

"What's wrong?" Juleka inspected her best friend's face with worry. "Rose?"

"It's Snooze." Rose said. Snooze was one of her rabbits. The oldest one and one Rose was very fond of. "He's been run over."

Juleka gasped. "Is he ok?"

Rose shook her head slowly and read the message again. She covered her mouth and her answer was muffled. "He's dead."

"Oh no." Juleka wrapped her arms around Rose as tears spilled from her face.

"It can't be true. It must be a mistake. Maybe they confused him with another." Rose tried to comfort herself. Suddenly her mind went foggy and her vision blurry. A voice echoed in her mind and said softly.

"Hello, Pet Keeper. I am Hawkmoth and I can help you find your pet. All you have to do in return is give me Ladybug and Chat Noir's miraculouses."

Rose was filled with doubt, Something in her fought against this.

This is wrong! Go away!

"I can help you bring back Snooze."

At his name Rose's resolve crumbled and as if in a daze she nodded.

Meanwhile Juleka was shaking Rose's shoulders. "No, Rose. Don't listen to him. This is wrong Hawkmoth, don't you dare. Leave her alone. She doesn't deserve this. Go away!"

She yerked back when her friend was engulfed in black. "Oh no." She stumbled back a few steps.

She watched with wide eyes when the goo disappeared to reveal a white Rose with brown specks littering her body. Her hands had formed into claws and her white hair standing up in all directions giving her a wild look.

Akumatized Rose crouched on the ground with a scowl. Tear tracks accentuated her nose and her eyes narrowed in anger and sadness.

"Rose." Juleka held out a trembling hand. "Please calm down, Rose."

Rose fixed her with her eyes and leaned forward a bit. She growled deeply. Then her eyes blinked and she bounded away, out of the school.

A few students had seen this happening and were trying to get out in a panic.

"Danny." Juleka stumbled back. She turned around running. "Danny!!"

It was easy to find him and she threw her arms around him the moment she got close enough.

Danny looked at her in shock but automatically wrapped his arms around her in an attempt to reassure her. "What's wrong? Juleka tell me what happened."

"It's Rose. She's been akumatized."

"No." Danny mumbled. Not Rose. It had happened once already. She didn't need this. Not her. He unconsciously stroked the goth's hair.

Most everyone had found out what happened and they were either glancing around in fear or looking down in sadness. The bell rang and the students slowly started to get to class, hoping Ladybug and Chat Noir would be able to help Rose before she did something she might regret.

Juleka stayed clamped tight to Danny and he didn't move. Who cared about classes?

After a moment Juleka let go of the boy and wiped her eyes.

"You ok?" Danny asked.

She nodded. "Thank you. I'm sorry I made you late to class."

Danny smiled. "I don't mind. I'd do whatever to get out of that boring place."

The goth hummed. "Do you think she'll be alright?"

"Of course she will." Danny wasn't so sure himself. He stepped a bit away from Juleka.

"Where are you going?" She asked confused.

"To Rose."

Her eyes widened. "No. We are forbidden to go to a fight."

"See if I care." Danny grabbed his backpack and ran out of the building. "I need to see her."

Danny ran around the town. It was harder than he thought to find her but he was glad for that. It meant Rose hadn't destroyed anything and wasn't causing too much havoc.

He saw a rabbit hopping down the street.

Danny stopped to look at it. That was strange.

Suddenly another one left a house through the window.

The black haired boy frowned. These rabbits were going to same way. And they looked like they were ready for battle if that was possible for a rabbit.

He followed them and as they went more rabbits joined in. They came out in an open place and sounds of battle were heard.

Danny ran in to see an akuma fighting Chat Noir. Ladybug wasn't there yet.

Danny's breath hitched when he saw it. He stumbled forward. "Rose."

Someone grabbed his arm and he turned to see Alya. She had a helmet on with a camera strapped to it. She shook her head. "Don't. Let the superheros handle it."

Danny grit his teeth and ripped his arm out of her grasp. He ran to the battle, ignoring Alya's cries to stop him.

Everyone else might be used to their friend turning into supervillains but Danny certainly wasn't. It had happened with Sam and Tucker and, just like now, he had run into battle and tried to stop them. This time, though, he couldn't use his powers and he had absolutely no experience with akumas.

"Rose!!" he yelled and she turned her head to see him.

"Danny!" Chat Noir screamed. "Get out of here."

"Rose, please listen to me. Stop this."

Rose frowned and took a few steps towards the boy. She flicked her wrist, sending some ferocious bunnies after Chat. Those things sure could be scary. "You," she spat. "It's your fault I'm like this."

"No." Alya came running up. "That's not true."

"You could have stopped this, Garcon Papillon," she mocked him. "But you weren't there when I needed you. This is your fault!"

Alya, completely forgetting about the phone taped on her helmet recording everything live to her blog, looked at Danny and gasped.

Danny looked like he had been stabbed. He stumbled back as he stared at the akuma in horror and pain.

Suddenly Chat Noir broke away from the rabid bunnies and body slammed into the Pet Keeper. She was flung away and crashed into the ground.

"No!" Danny's voice cracked as he ran towards her. "No. Don't hurt her!!"

Pet keeper stood back up and glared at Chat Noir. Then she heard someone and saw that boy running towards her. She lifted her hand in his direction. "Get him, my snoozers. While I deal with the skitty cat."

Danny gasped as he was surrounded by murderous looking rabbits. They pounced on him, scratching and biting.

However, before they could do much damage Danny was lifted up into the air.

Ladybug frowned as she swung over to safety. "You have to stop running into the fights, Danny," she said without looking at him. "It's hard enough with one reckless friend. But really, you can't help them this way."

They landed a bit away from the battle and she set him down. Her eyes widened when she saw his pale and tear streaked face. "Danny? You alright?"

Danny pushed her away and wiped his face. "I'm fine," he muttered. "Go help her. Please." He looked at her pleadingly. "Bring her back safely."

Marinette didn't like leaving him like this but she nodded. "I will. Stay here. I want to talk to you after the battle."

She swung away.

After the battle Danny was nowhere to be seen.
