The time has come...

Butterfly has wrapped up at chapter 18, and Paris' story has come to an end as we know it.

The question is... Will there be a sequel?

The best answer I can give for now, is that I'm deciding whether or not there is more to tell. If I choose to do a continuation, it will either be a sequel or a spin off, but I'm not planning on an Epilogue at the moment.

Now, before I go I'd like to thank everyone who's ever read/voted/commented on Butterfly, following along with Paris.

It's odd being done with Butterfly, I learned so much from Paris' character. Most importantly, I've learned to live every day to it's fullest.

Now I guess I should mention my inspiration for the story, for anyone wondering. I don't have a history with an eating disorder, but I've always felt passionate over the topic.

Even if you don't have an eating disorder, many people don't feel confident in their own bodies. For others, many will resort to restricting calories and adopting unhealthy habits in order to see results.

In the beginning of Butterfly I formed Paris' personality and thoughts through what I saw from friends, from online, and a little bit from myself. I admittedly was an amateur to eating disorders a little while prior to Butterfly, but after countless research, documentaries, biographies, etc, I learned a lot from writing this story.

After 5 months, (a lot of writers block in between) I'm sitting here now, and I feel like I'm finally free to look in the mirror and smile.

Remember that every day matters not only to your family and friends, but to yourself as well.

Think of yourself as a friend, a family member, someone who cares more about you than anyone else. How would you treat that person?

You deserve to be happy. I know it's hard some times, but in the end remember that you matter. It's your job to take care of yourself.
