"Mom?Dad?" I yelled.

"Yes honey?" Mom said.

"Can Miranda come over to my house tomorrow?" I asked.

"Sure!" Mom answered.

I turned around and ran back to my room. But I bumped into Ashley.

"Watch it!" Ashley exclaimed.

"Sorry." I muttered. "Hey Ashley can we do something together?" I asked.

"Sure,why not?" Ashley answered cheerily.

Why is Ashley is so cheery? I'll ask her when we do something together.

"So.....what do you want to do together?" I asked.

"Let's take a walk." Ashley suggested.

"OK."

Me and Ashley were heading outside when I stopped and told my mom that me and Ashley were going for a walk.

"Remember to be back soon!" Mom yelled.

"We will!" I yelled back.

We started walking.

"Ashley? Can I ask you a question?" I asked.

"Sure!" Ashley said cheerily.

"Why are you so happy and cheery?" "Is it because you have a boyfriend?" I guessed.

"Kinda........" Ashley trailed off.

"Ashley! You should've told Mom!" I exclaimed.

"He hangs out with me after school a bit." Ashley said.

"Still! You should've told mom!" I practically was yelling.

"He's not my boyfriend boyfriend. He just hangs out with me."

"Let's just go home."

"OK." Ashley exclaimed.

With that me and Ashley walked back home.

"Why are you back so soon?" Mom asked.

"Didn't feel like walking." I lied.

I don't like to lie,but sometimes I have to.

I walked back to my room and sat on my bed. I was bored so I just got out a notebook and drew some plants.

 "Dinner time!" Mom called.

I closed my notebook and walked to the dinner table.
