First, I needed to write Jordan's name on the top of the poster board. I wrote his name in pretty letters. Second, I needed to color and draw on the poster so it will look pretty. I drew a soccer ball and a Shih Tzu. I colored the soccer ball and the Shih Tzu.

"It looks so cute!" I whisper to myself.

I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." I said.

Ashley came in.

"Hello. What are you doing?" Ashley asked.

"I'm..."

"Are you doing something for the school?" Ashley interrupted.

"No, I'm doing something for my boyfriend." I answered.

"Oooh! Something for your boyfriend!" Ashley exclaimed.

I was about to say something but Ashley left the room. I continued to work on the project for Jordan for about 20 minutes.

"Honey?" Dad called.

"Yes?" I called back.

'Can I talk to you for a second?" Dad asked.

"Sure." I replied.

I wondered if I was in trouble. I walked downstairs. Mom and Dad were standing in the living room.

"We wanted to talk to you about something..." Mom started.

"We were thinking about visiting Jordan for a week." Dad finished. 

"We start driving tomorrow." Mom said.

I was shocked. I would really be visiting Jordan's house!

"That's great!" I smiled.

Mom and Dad hugged me. Just then, Ashley came in.

"What's going on here?" Ashley asked.

"I'm visiting Jordan's house." I answered.

"Am I coming?" Ashley questioned.

"Of course you are!" Mom exclaimed. 

"When are we going?" Ashley asked.

"Tomorrow." Dad replied.

"Oh no..." I said.

"What?" Mom, Dad, and Ashley asked in unison. 

"I have to finish the project that I'm working on." I told them.

"Oh yeah. That's right. Well you can start working on it today and maybe finish it tonight or tomorrow morning. We are leaving to go to Jordan's at 12:30 PM." Mom said.

"Okay. I'll work on it right now." I rushed upstairs into my room to finish the project for Jordan.
