Mom started driving the car.

"Mom?" I asked.

"Yes?"

"Can we stop by the craft store?"

"What do you need to get?" Mom asked.

"Umm, just some supplies." I replied.

"Okay."

Mom drove to the craft store.

"I'll wait for you here. Here is some money." Mom said, handing me a 20 dollar bill.

I got out of the car and walked inside of the craft store. I needed to look for crayons, paper, and a white cardboard poster board. The reason I needed to get those things was because I was going to make something special for Jordan.

I walked to an aisle. It had crayons, paper, and a white cardboard poster board. I was walking to the cash register when I saw Miranda. Miranda had a boy next to her. I strolled over with my supplies in hand.

"Hey, Miranda. Who's this?" I asked.

"Oh, this is my boyfriend." She gave me and excited smile. "His name is Andrew."

I almost gasped. "You were texting him when we were in the park around the campfire!"

Miranda nodded. "Yep, that was him."

Andrew looked at me. "Err... Hello..."

"Vanessa." I finished for him.

"Miranda was talking about you! She says your her best friend." Andrew exclaimed.

I nodded. "Why are you at the craft store?"

"Just browsing." Miranda answered. "And why are you buying all those supplies?"

"It's for Jordan. I'm making him something." I smiled. "Well, I better go now. Bye!"

"Bye!" Miranda said.

"Bye." Andrew said, walking away with Miranda.

I walked to the cash register. I gave the cashier the 20 dollar bill. She put the items in the bag and handed it to me. I walked back to the car.

"What took you so long?" Mom asked me.

"Oh, I was just talking to Miranda." I answered.

"About what?" Mom questioned me.

"Well, she got a boyfriend. His name is Andrew." I replied.

"Oh that's great!" Mom exclaimed.

Mom drove back to our house. I got out of the car and ran upstairs into my room. I opened up the crayon box.
